The golden dragon did not need to take time to choose Hers. She did, however, take time trying not to get any shells to mar her hide, sand to stick to it, etcetera, etcetera. She stalked right up to the female candidate lines and...
The Red Star egg broke open. Inside the egg was a very small rainbow. The rainbow creeled as it limped to one side of the sands, and then the other. Finally, it stopped, and looked over at Saenalia, before bugling in a soft, high voice. Saenalia! Your Danielth is here!
The queen, snorted. Lysita, Kellerth would like to go now. I am hungry. The other eggs were duds. Name: Rononth Impressed to: P'so (?) Color: Bronze Appearance: A dark, rusted bronze (oliv). Rononth's wings are larger than normal, and though that caused awkwardness in his younger days, he (as an adult) is one of the fastest Bronzes. Personality: Rononth never speaks. At least not until someone tells him to speak. He would much rather keep to himself.
Name: Taylath Impressed to: Barleen Color: Green Appearance: Taylath is a very dark green color (2F4F2F). Her hide is mixed with brown, as if she tried to be camoflauged. Personality: Taylath has an accent. No one knows how it came to be, but she does. She is also very protective, and secretive. She would much rather stay hidden, or at least on guard, than in the open.
Name: Danielth Impressed to: Saenaila Color: Rainbow Appearance: Danielth has a smattering of colors across her hide. Her head and underbelly are a nice yellow color (yellow). Her shoulders and wings are a semi-dark blue (00cccc). Her hindquarters and stomach are a sort of sea-green colors (seagreen). Her tail is a very cream color (LightYellow). Personality: This little rainbow might have a boy's name, but she is definitely female.
Name: Kellerth Impressed to: Lysita Color: Gold Appearance: A very light gold color (EEDD82), Kellerth seems to be dusted with other colors. Every color under the sun can be seen on her hide except for black. Personality: There may be a reason why Kellerth has no black on her hide. This dragon does not have a mean bone in her body. She is actually a very smart dragon, one who always calculates and thinks before she does anything. She likes science, whether it be medicinal or not.

(( Just for the record, Carterth is Samantha Carter, Danielth is Daniel Jackson, Kellerth is Jennifer Keller, Teal'cth is... pretty much explanatory, Rononth is the same as before, Taylath is Tayla, Valath is Vala, and Toddth is a Wraith from SGA named Todd. ))

OOC- I kinda figured that bit, but Carterth had me stumped! hehe... A very good hatching Zen!
Saenalia watched the gold for a bit, seeing none of the last three eggs had hatched yet. She was curious to see who would impress the gold dragonet. She turned just in time to see the Red Star egg hatch a very cute and very small Rainbow dragonet. She turned to look at the gold again and lost track of her. She turned back to the Rainbow hatchling. She watched it limp over to the other side of the sands before coming back the other way. She continued to watch the rainbow as it stopped and seem to be looking in her direction.
Saenalia! Your Danielth is here!
Saenalia gasped at the voice in her head. So soft and soothing, and a bit bubbly. She raced to the limping hatchling and fell to her knees to embrace the most beautiful creature on Pern. "Yes, you are here, Danielth! And I'm so very happy your here. Now, let's get you some food. Your hurt!"

Lysita was momentarily distracted from the gold as she noticed the small rainbow hatching and impressing straight to one of the other girls. She looked round at all those that had impressed, then just as she was about to turn back to the gold, a voice filled her mind. Lysita, Kellerth would like to go now. I am hungry. She gasped as she realized it was the gold that was speaking to her. She fell to her knees and wrapped her arms round the gold that had stopped before her. "Of course Kellerth. We shall get you some food right away." She stood up, her legs shaking slightly from the shock of impressing a gold. She slowly led her dragonet, that seemed to have a rainbow sheen, off towards the food, following where all the others had gone.
