Bamre smiled at the thought and said " Thanks Getrara I am trying to keep my hopes up. It would be a interesting thing to see some differnt things happening. I just hope everyone who impresses is happy with the color they get."

"The dragons always know who their's is. I have never heard of a dragon impresseing to someone who didn't love them," Getrara said with a smile. Dragons knew who their's was and they didn't pick wrong normally.

Bamre knew she was right. The dragons would know and they did not choose wrong he just hoped that one of them would choose him, but he tried to resist this pessimism yet couldn't and he said " I just hope that one of those little dragons finds me worthy enough to be their's." He said this then sighed.

Jator shrugged a bit. "If they don't, it means they aren't right for you, and would you want to be stuck with the wrong dragon."

Bamre looked down at the floor and sighed saying " Yeah I guess not." What Jator had said was bringing back his fears that he thought he had gotten rid off. Oh well he thought he had known he would not succed.

"I think we will all succeed," Getrara said with a pointed glare at Jator. She hoped that he hadn't tried to put down Bamre on on purpose, but you never knew with guys, they were very unpredictable at times, especially the supper competitive ones.

Bamre heard what Getrara said and and knew all he could do was hope. He then felt Iron rubbing his cheek with the side of his head. He reach up and petted the firelizard. It was really all the encouragement he needed from his little friend. He said in a more happier tone " Yes I agree I think we will succeed."

"There's the spirit, everyone will impress!" Getrara said, trying to get the others to have a little more pep in the step. To her, they seemed tired.

Jator pointed out. "Malaracyth will lay plenty more clutches, and so will the new gold. Relax. Plenty of time...especially for the younger ones."

Bamre then looked at Jator and he relized that this might be his only chance he was 18 turns old and they probley would not let him do it agian. He said " You have to remeber I am not one of the younger ones though."

Getrara said offhandedly, "I don't think they would kick anyone out since we don't have that many candidates. I think they would let you stay in for a while longer." Getrara just felt like pointing that out to Bamre.

Bamre looked at Getrara and said " I hope that they don't because if they do then I have no were to go. I can't go back home so I would have no home."

"They would always give you a home here because they need as many people as can help. If nothing else you might be put to manual labor for the rest of your life around this place, because like I said, it need people to work it," Getrara said this very confidently because she knew that the infirmary could always use helpers.

Bamre thought about that idea and he began to dread the idea. He had spent most of his life inside. He hoped that they would not put him in that kind of life. He said " I hope that it does not come to that."

Jator shook his head. "There's worse places to end up. And, also, if you don't Impress, there's a lot of unoccupied land around here. Find a woman and claim a holding...I might do that myself if I'm not chosen. I'm not one of the younger ones, either.
