J'tor was frankly getting a little worried about Bonjouth.
The brown was keeping something from him. What, he was not sure, but he was not going to put up with it any longer.
You need to tell me what's wrong.

So, his dragon wasn't being lazy. He was afraid. "Well," J'tor said aloud. "We can fix that."
How?
"I'll have to find a mindhealer and ask for some advice."

Bamre and Purth along with Bamre's fair had lisitined in. Though form what Bamre heard he could not understand what was going on until Purth told Bamre what the brown had told him during one of there coversations. Bamre siad "Oh." He then walked up behind J'tor as his flits settled around the two. Bamre then siad " Bonjouth I thought that you and Purth were trying to work on together on helping you to overcome that fear."

J'tor smiled at his dragon. "You should have told me sooner, now -I- can help as well. We'll make you the best flyer on Pern yet."
Bonjouth drooped a little, then he turned his head towards Purth, as if seeking visual reassurance from the white. The two dragons had become fast friends...of course, such things did happen.

Bamre smiled at the brown and siad " Well that is the main thing. As long as you keep trying that is what is improtent." Purth walked over to Bonjouth and looked at him and siad reasurringly Don't worry. We will keep trying and now that yours knows he can help. Everything will be alright. I know it will be ok. We will have you fly in no time Bonjouth. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald moved and settled around the brown while Topaz and Iron sat on the brown. Then all the flit's including Diamond who had not left her favorite purch on Bamre's shoulder sent him reasurring images and there support.

J'tor reached to rub his brown's eyeridge. "We'll fly, and besides..."
He could think of one thing that would help...once Bonjouth was old enough. And there were some cute women on greens and other small females. He wasn't sure Bonjouth would ever catch a gold, but he'd try. As long as he didn't chase Renth.
Maylina was not attractive to him. Not at all.

Bamre smiled at the brown and then looked at J'tor wondering what he was think and siad " Beside what J'tor?" He said this in a manner as though asking J'tor to finsih the statment. Purth then looked at the brown and siad Just remember we will keep working on it. Becuase as I have said before there is nothing to be afriad of expect for the act of alluctly being afraid.

J'tor smiled. "In a few months, I rather suspect some attractive females will be helping." He didn't want to think too much about flights.
But Bonjouth would chase, and perhaps catch. He really hoped he was too small to catch Renth, though. He'd rather end up in bed with R'yan than Maylina...and given how straight he was...

Bamre smiled and siad " Oh." He then luaghed and patted Purth on the side and said " Well at least that is somthing I will never have to worry about." Bamre knew that Purth would never fly he knew that was just a trait the little white had. Yet the little guy made up for it in so many other ways. He then said " Yet that should get him flying I suppose. Though I doubt that will get rid of his fear of flying."

Just not what. He'd never had a phobia himself, never before been close to somebody who did. "And I don't mean you shouldn't be afraid, Bonjouth. These things happen. Only that it can be fixed."
Reassured, the brown nuzzled at his rider.

Bamre nodded his head in aggrement and siad " Yep that is right so there is really nothing to worry about." Bamre was glad that every thing was going to be ok. Purth walked over and laid his head in Bamre's lap and looked up at Bamre with happiness in his eye's that his friend was going to be ok.

Bonjouth just warbled at Purth, a little more cheerful now.
"Who knows, we might be somebody's second some day," J'tor told Bonjouth, trying to jolly him further. Of course, Bamre probably wouldn't...
...but Purth was special. In many ways, he was outside the hierarchy of the Weyr. He wondered if Getrara might be a wingsecond or wingleader. At least -she- didn't have to worry about being Weyrleader.

Purth looked at Bonjouth and was gald the other dragon seemed to be much more happier now. Bamre then looked at J'tor thoughfully and siad " I believe that you would be quite good a that." Though he himself would not want that responibitly. He was happy just being able to spend time with Purth and his fair. Plus he did not think that he would be able to do that job very well.

J'tor shrugged. "Just as long as Bonjouth doesn't go and fly the senior gold some day." Brownriders had occasionally been weyrleaders.
-That- was too much responsibility. Which frankly was probably why a bronze or silver had not chosen him. They knew what he wanted.

Bamre looked and siad " Yes that would be alot of responiblty, but agian I think you could do it if you had to." He smiled at him and was just gald he did not have to worry about such things. Then again a certain responiablty came with being Purths rider too. The little white was fragile and Bamre had to be careful he did not push the little guy to hard and the fact that one day there would be a reason shown for Purth being born at this point and time.

Kelyna would just be like...well... She seemed okay, but he couldn't imagine himself sharing her bed. He needed a nice greenrider...or one of the other smaller females. The rider of that female blue was pretty.
