Tirlynna laughed. "At least the guy who hates the new colors didn't win."
C'lyn gave her a rueful look. "I think Kelyna could have dealt with it. How's Reinth?"
"Pretty good. We're learning, in uncharted territory with her, but..."
"You don't mind how small she is?"
"I'm working with Bamre..."
"Interesting weyr you picked."
Tirlynna blushed. "He...I...we..."
"I'm not going to mess with your love life. Just don't let him break your heart."
"I don't think he will..."

Bamre enter the dining hall to get some breakfest. He was really hungry becuase he had not had time to get anything to eat last night. Plus at this moment he was keeping his eye's on his fair who had all followed him into the dining hall. He got some food and then he spotted Tirylanna sitting with her brother. So he went to sit next to her. His fair got there before he did. Topaz settled on Tirylanna's shoulder and Iron settled on C'lyn's. The other three settled on the table. Bamre when he reached the table said " Hello Tirylanna. Hello C'lyn." He sat next to her and siad " So how are you today?" He siad this focusing his question toward Tirylanna.

Tirlynna smiled. "I'm fine." Her eyes showed a weird bit of awkwardness.
Dawn, perched on the table, chirped a greeting to the other firelizards. C'lyn's blue joined in after a moment.
"Morning, Bamre," the weyrleader said. "How is Purth?"

Bamre smiled and said to Tirlyanna " That is good." He then looked at C'lyn and siad " He is doing fine. He is still asleep right now. Though I suspect when he wakes up that he will head to the lake to play with some of the wild flit's flying around." That was a thing that Purth did every morning that he was able and becuase of this alot of the wild flits would come looking for him if he did not show up.

C'lyn chuckled. "Well, if I ever need to get every firelizard in the Weyr in one place, I know who to ask."
He glanced at his daughter's queen for a moment. "So. I hear rumors about somebody choosing a weyr big enough for two."
Of course. Tirlynna was graduating. Bamre wasn't...yet...

When C'lyn said that Bamre just blushed. " Yeah...Me... and...Tirylanna." That was all he could manage to get out. He was really shy talking to other people about it. He just sat there and kept blushing all the while trying to come up with somthing to say so that he did not sound like a fool. He just sighed.

C'lyn smiled. "Don't worry. I'm not angry. Tirlynna's a dragonrider, she can handle her own romantic affairs."
He glanced at his sister. When had she grown up? Well. Impression and weyrling training had done it, had transformed a girl into a woman. It often did. Nothing like a dragon to turn girls into women and boys into men.
Tirlynna just gave him a wry look back.

Bamre just kept blushing and did not say anything. What broth him out his stupor was when Diamond who was on his shoulders rubbed her head angist his cheek. He reached up and pulled the gold of his shoulders and cuddled her close. He felt so embressed. Yet holding Diamond made him feel better. He then siad " I am gald for that." He then smiled again as the blush began to dissaper form his face alittle bit.

C'lyn smiled a bit. "Your gold is just gorgeous...although I think Tirlynna might object if I said that too loudly."
Dawn chirped to her dam and Tirlynna smiled. "I don't think I could choose between the two if I wasn't biased."
She meant it. Dawn was a little lighter colored and would perhaps mature a tiny bit smaller, but they were both very, very fine looking firelizards.

Diamond chirped at C'lyn then climbed off Bamre's shoulders. She then walked over to C'lyn and rubbed her head up agnist his chest affectionalty. Bamre smiled and siad " She likes up C'lyn. She esspecially likes it when people compliment her. Though of course most queens are like that." Bamre just smiled at his gold flit. He also liked Dawn too. Yet he liked Diamond more yet that was somthing that was expected.

C'lyn chuckled. "Golds are vain. Just don't say that around Kelyna."
Kelyna was not vain. Malaracyth, on the other hand...definitely vain. 'Vanity' would be a good name, he mused, for a gold firelizard. He stored it up for later use.
Tirlynna giggled. "She's hoping you'll give her a treat, bro."

Diamond just looked up at C'lyn and chriped and then nugded him. She was hungry and she wanted to be feed now. Bamre just luaghed and looked at Topaz and siad " Topaz would you be a dear and go get Diamond some food." Topaz chriped at Bamre then flew up and dissapered. He reappeared a mintue later carrying a fish in each claw. He then landed on the table and put the fish in front of him. Sapphire and Emerald tried to get at them, but Topaz hissed at them. Diamond walked over and greedly ate down the two fish and then walked back over to Bamre crawled up his shirt and curled around his shoulder. Bamre wacthed the whole sence with amusment and siad jokingly " Queens. What are we going to do with them?"

Tirlynna giggled. "Now Dawn is going to want some of that treatment." Given she was feeding the gold her breakfast sausage right as she spoke...well...

Iron had wacthed the sence with Topaz play out and then he dissapered and came back holding a fish. He walked over droped this one in front of Dawn and he chriped at her. Emerald and Shappire decided to try there luck again, but Iron hissed at them and they backed away. Bamre luaghed this and said " Well it looks like Iron is trying to flirt with Dawn by giving her food." He could not help, but luagh at this.

Tirlynna laughed some more, especially when Clay vanished and showed up with a fish. A -larger- one than Iron brought. "Males!"
The look she got from her brother just increased the giggling.
