Andol shrugged. " We will see. I have been known to faint from exhustion alot of times. I just don't like to sleep. I don't know why. I just hope I don't worry what ever dragon I impress. That is if I impress." Andol was a odd person. He just did not like to sleep in the same way he did not like to wear shoe's. He had nevered cared. He never would.

J'tor shook his head. "You'll sleep. And you'll be way too tired for nightmares." He wasn't stupid, he was reading between the lines...it didn't sound like Andol suffered from insomnia, per se.

Andol looked at J'tor and arched his eyelid. How had the other figured his secert. There was more to it than just nightmare's though becuase lack of sleep could somtimes cause him to see things that were not there. Though that did not happen often it did happen and it was scary though he would admit to the nightmare. He would never admit to side affect's of his sleep loss. People some time's went over board when someone said they saw things. He then said " I don't about that. I stay awake to avoid them. Though it uslassy J'tor only works as a staling tactic. Eventually I go to sleep and I have them. Though I have learned to accpect it. Though please don't go tell anyone. You are the only person beside my brother who knows so please keep it seceret." He really hoped the other boy would.

J'tor shook his head. "I won't tell anyone, don't worry. Maybe your dragon will chase them away. If I have one, Bonjouth knows and he helps."
Impressing a dragon could well be Andol's 'cure'. "I'll bet marks your dragon is blue, too."

Andol nodded slightly. He was now really hoping he would impress even more. So his nightmares would no longer scare him and he would feel safe. He then siad " I am sure you are right. Leaf tries her best most of the. Yet a dragon could probelry do better." He then thought curiously and siad " That is the color I think I will impress too. Mostly becuase of my shyness."

J'tor nodded. "Blues tend to go for the quiet types. I was hoping for brown and got it..but I know how lucky I am."
He knew there was always some girl, for example, who wanted the gold and ended up Impressing green. That was the way of things. Maybe it just meant that some people were more aware of who they were than others.

Andol nodded. " Yeah that is what they say. Though I really hope my dragon is not as shy as I am. I was hoping for one to help bring me out of my shell. Just like Purth did for my brother." Andol hoped for that though he would not mind if his dragon was shy. That would just give him a reason to froce himself out of his shell. For his and his dragons sake.

J'tor nodded. "You could...no. I don't see you with a green, really. Blue or maybe brown. Greens most definitely don't pick quiet types."
Green riders tended to be loud. That R'yan...well, part of it was his dragon. "I know one green who likes to see her rider covered in 'sparklies'..." Beat. "...and he's a guy."

Andol just nodded his head and siad " Probely not. Though a green would probley pull me out shell more than a blue would." He thought maybe a brown would. Though more likly a green would be better for that job. Andol then looked at him curiously and said " Really. Is he a cut...." Then realizing it was problery best not to ask J'tor that question he just sighed and siad " Never mind."

J'tor shook his head. "I wouldn't know if he's cute or not, I only do girls," the brownrider said frankly. "Well, unless Bonjouth gets in on the matter. I can tell you I'm pretty sure -he- does guys, from all I hear."

Andol just shrugged and said " Yeah sorry about that. I knew that you were the wrong person to ask the instant that it came out of my mouth. I will just ask my brother. Me and him are the same like that." Andol felt alittle stupid he normally only spoke to his brother about such thing becuase he knew that sinice him and Bamre were the same it would be esiear. The fact he had almost asked J'tor that was evadince that he was slowly, but surly coming out of his shell here at the Weyr.

J'tor chuckled. Then hrmed. "Thought your brother was dating a girl...." Bamre must, he thought, swing both ways, because he'd seen the way he and Tirlynna looked at each other.

Andol luaghed alittle and said " Yes I know that. Me and him swing both ways." That was why he had said he would talk to his brother about it becuase Andol found it esier to talk to him about such thing than other people. He would even somtimes have simi one-sided conversations with Leaf about it. Though he usally did that alot anyway.

Sooner or later, he would end up in bed with another man. He was making himself face it, so he could get used to the idea.
