K'rian had fed and oiled Lesoroth and now the rainbow dragonet was asleep on his stone couch. He went over to the desk and took out a piece of paper and something to write with. He wanted to let L'the know he had impressed but he didn't want to be leaving Lesoroth alone. L'the,
I thought you would like to know that I stood for the Rainbow Reinth's hatching. There was only a single egg which hatched into a wonderful rainbow. It took it's time deciding, sniffing at all of the other candidate before stopping at me. Yes, it was me it chose. His name is Lesoroth and he is absolutely handsome, for a dragonet.
K'rian. He rolled the note up and tied it to Zaphyr's leg. "Take that to L'the. You remember L'the?" Zaphyr nodded his head with an affirmative chirp before launching into the air and popping between. |

L'the looked up and was supirsed to see a fimaler blue firelizard pop form bettewen over his bed. He looked up as he flew down and noticed that he had a small peice of paper tied to his leg. He looked up curiously at Zaphyr as he took the small piece of paper and read it for a mintue. His eyes widened as he read. Blumath who was curled up on her couch looked up at him and asked What is it Mine He smiled looking at the green and said It is K'rian. He impressed, a sweet little male rainbow. Blumath's eye's lit up with curiousty and she got up and made her way to the door looking back at L'the saying Come on let's go see.
L'the got up and followed the green as they made there way down the hall, towards K'rian's room. Betime he had reached K'rian's room he felt somthing land on his head. It was Emerald. The green had hung around him alot more sinice he attarcted the attention of Zaphyr. She looked around for the blue becuase she ment to scold him for chasing a green that was not her recently. He opened the door and walked in over to where K'rian was, though his eye's kept wondering over to the sleeping rainbow. He asked K'rian " So is that your dragon K'rian." He gave the other a affectionate smile as he looked at him. Blumath was also looking at the rainbow with a curious look in her eyes, as though she wanted to go over and poke him to wake him up, but she did not want to disturb the younger dragon.

K'rian had been sitting on the bed, watching Lesoroth sleep as he waited for a reply from L'the. As he sat, something better happened, L'the entered the room and came right over to him. He also noticed Blumath had come, and he smiled at L'the.
"Yes, that is Lesoroth. He looks lovely, does he not?" He asked in a happy voice before turning to Blumath.
"Of course, you are beautiful too." He said to the green, reaching out to pat her shoulder. K'rian just couldn't keep the smile off of his face, now they only had to wait until Blumath and Lesoroth were both mature enough before being together how they longed to be.

Blumath let out a soft croon and nuzzled K'rian because of his compliment she said Thank you K'rian. That is very sweet, I can see why Mine likes you so much. L'the smiled at K'rian and reached out and gave the other male a affectionate hug, but he limited it to that. He knew that would be best if they limited it to hugging each other so that there would not be any problems until there dragons were mature. Then L'the said something that made him blush badly " It is a good thing he is a male rainbow. Blumath is small for a green so it will be easier for Lesoroth to....." His words made him blush terribly and he did not finish his sentance becuase he knew the other would be able to finish it himself.

"You are welcome Blumath. I think every dragon is beautiful in their own way." K'rian gently hugged L'the back, but kept it brief. He didn't want to chance Lesoroth waking up to find them being close and going between. He blushed at L'the's words, noticing the other did himself and nodded in understanding.
"I think Lesoroth is a little big for a rainbow, although I have no idea of their general size." He replied, glancing over at Lesoroth.

Emerald who was looking around the room for Zaphyr finally spotted the blue. She gave him a agrny sqawk and flew up off of L'the's head and charged at the blue as though she was going to stracth him up, but at the last second she pulled up and landed beside him and then nuzzled him affectionatly. She crooned at him softly to show that she forgave him, but gave him another sqwuak plus alittle tap on his head with her tail. To say that if he ever did that again, he would be the last male to ever get to fly her, if at all. With that she curled up next him while waiting for him to curl up around her.
L'the wacthed this with amusement and siad " Emerald does not seem happy about somthing." He did not know that Zaphyr had recently chased. So he looked to K'rian wondering if the other could shed some light on what was going on with the two firelizards.

Zaphyr squacked in surprise as Emerald spotted him, he had been trying to hide, knowing that she'd be angry with him. He was glad when she stopped her angry tirade and nuzzled him, he nuzzled back gently. The she squacked again and tapped his head with her tail and he ducked down with a startled chirp. As she curled up, he settled around her with an apologetic croon.
K'rian gave a soft laugh as he watched Emerald scalding Zaphyr, turning to L'the with an amused smile.
"Oh, he chased a green the other day, that was not Emerald. I daresay that she is not very happy with him for doing so." He told L'the, informing the other of what was the most likely cause of Emerald's actions.

L'the luaghed and nodded his head and said " I can see that. Form what I know Emerald has yet to even have a flight yet, so I can see why she would be angry. You know she is expecting him to wait for her." Emerald seem to press into Zaphyr and crooned to him. She planned on making him happy, if he was willing to wait until her madain flight. She was wondering if maybe she and Zaphyr could go to maybe a privite place and have her flight there so that they would not be distrubed. She sent him a image telling him this and looked at him curiously. Though what she sent him showed that if he chased another female. Her promise would become null and void and she would make it open season to other males and Zaphyr problery would not stand a chance.
L'the never really saw Emerald thoughts becuase she was not his firelizard. She just liked to tag along to see Zaphyr. He looked over a K'rian again and asked him " So when is he going to wake up so that we can meet him. I know that Blumath is very curious to do so." While he was talking Blumath had crawled up on the rainbow dragons couch and was hovering over him and looked him curiously without touch him. Her couriousty was almost child- like in it's innocne.

K'rian glanced over at the two flits, a wry smile decorating his face.
"I think I did as well. I just think that green's call was just too good for him to ignore." He'd started looking at L'the, but his gaze went to the floor at the end, as if that was how he felt just then.
Zaphyr laid his wing closer round Emerald, holding her gently yet possessively. Her images first made him really quite happy, but then a little ashamed. He crooned back at her softly, letting her know that his every attention would be on either her, his pet, or his pet's dragonet and nothing else.
K'rian chuckled softly as he looked at L'the with a smile.
"He could wake up at any point." He replied, noticing Blumath move closer.
"Blumath, I would not get too close. I have no idea how he will react to seeing you so close if he wakes. I know you are curious, but please, I would not want him frightened." He said in a low, friendly and compassionate voice, glancing at Lesoroth with love in his eyes. The love L'the had for Blumath, that any weyrling or rider has for their dragon.

Emerald crooned softly back him, as she rested her head. She sent him what would be in firelizards terms saying 'I trust you' Which she did, or else she would not be curled up with him letting him protect her. He had been good to her and good to her pet and Purth. Plus he was good to his own pet and his dragon. So therefore he was dependable and wanted him to know that is what she thought of him. In her mind every male would make one mistake. It was natural, they were only firelizards, but making the same mistake twice. That's just stupid.
Blumath backed away form the young dragon and went over to K'rian and started to bite on his sleeve and pulling him toward the rainbow saying Wake him up. Wake him up. I want to talk to him. I want to talk to him She looked at L'the and siad Mine your K'rian's mate. Make him wake up his dragon. I wanna talk to him Temper tanturm that Blumath was throwing would remind one of a child, which only made L'the luagh as he reached out and rubbed her head saying " My dear you need to calm down."

"Blumath! Hey!." K'rian couldn't quite believe how enthusiastic the green was to talk to his dragonet, even going so far as to tug on his sleeve.
"I know it might be hard, but I do not want Lesoroth woken before he is ready." In fact, he had a hard time trying not to laugh at Blumath's enthusiasm. Just then Lesoroth's golden head lifted, his eyes whirling with confused yellows. What is all the racket for? K'rian turned at the rainbow's sleepy sounding voice in his head.
"Lesoroth dear. I want you to meet my..." He trailed off a moment, glancing at L'the with an apologetic look. "Friend L'the, and his dragon, Blumath." Lesoroth stood up and flared his green wings, shaking his brown body, his bronze tail flipped from side to side. The dragonet's blue forepaws pawed at the floor as he let out a draconic yawn.

Blumath turned and looked at the younger dragon and crooned softly as he woke up. She said to him Hello Lesoroth. My name is Blumath. She walked over slowly to the other dragon and nuzzled his side. She enjoyed being around babies and creautures that were very young. So there for she had a motherly intsect towrad the rainbow. She even crawled up and the couch with him and curled around him. L'the smiled softly at the sight. He was glad that Blumath seemed to like the rainbow, but he wondered if the way Blumath was acting would scare Lesoroth. He really hoped it did not, becuase he wanted the little rainbow around, so that he could fly Blumath plus he was half of K'rian after all.
L'the turned to K'rian and gave a knowing look showing that he completly understood why he had told his dragon they where just friends. Lesoroth would problery figure out the truth on his own as he got older. He looked at the rainbow and siad " Hello Lesoroth. It is very nice to meet you."

Lesoroth looked at the green dragon, then at L'the, as K'rian introduced them. Then he looked at K'rian, with his head thingyed to the side, wondering at the pause. Hello Blumath. It is good to see another dragon. There was not any others at the hatching. The words were accompanied by a soft croon as he sniffed at Blumath curiously. To Lesoroth, she seemed quite large, although not as large as he had yet to see. The dragonet thought she seemed friendly enough and was quite willing to let her lay beside him. He even took the chance to study her a bit closer, as he looked at her with a childs innocent friendly admiration.
K'rian smiled at the sight of Blumath and Lesoroth curled together, thinking that it was a rather good omen for their future. Lesoroth snaked his head a little closer to L'the as the other weyrling spoke, taking a little sniff. Hello L'the. It is nice to meet you too. Lesoroth replied, sending the words straight into L'the's mind, probably also surprising him. K'rian watched L'the, waiting for his reaction and hoping he wouldn't be too shocked that Lesoroth had spoken directly to him.

Blumath looked at Lesoroth curiously for a moment and said Well that is ok Lesoroth, your mother is a small dragon, she could only lay one egg. I am just gald that you choose yours, of course who esle would you have chossen. I would have choosen Mine. No matter what. L'the wacthed the two. Blumath seemed to be enjoying looked at with the child like curiouslty that the little rainbow was looking at her with. Yet he almost luaghed when Blumath, put her wing over the smaller dragon. The two dragon now seemed to mirror the firelizards. L'the said to K'rian " Look fimilar."
When the rainbow spoke to him there was only a very small hint of supirse that went away quickly. Being Bamre's friend he hung around Purth alot, so he had got used to talking to other dragons that were not Bluamth. He said to the rainbow "I am gald for that Lesoroth. It seems Blumath has taken a liking to you." The green said as a matter of factly Why wouldn't I like him Mine. He is such a cute little rainbow. Blumath said this were Lesoroth and K'rian could hear her also. She said cute not in a flirtous way, but in a way someone would say as if they were talking about a young child. Blumath loved really young things.

Lesoroth crooned happily, his eyes whirling with contented blues and greens. I think Mine is glad I chose him as well. Although I have no idea why.
K'rian nodded, even as he worked hard, so as not to laugh at the familiarity of the sight. He smiled at L'the's quick acceptance of Lesoroth speaking directly to him, not everyone would get over it so quickly. Lesoroth looked at L'the, still crooning though more quietly now. I am glad of that, she is a lovely colour. The way he said it, was like a child's appreciation of a colour, not at all being flirty. He also made it so K'rian and Blumath could hear him.
