He just hoped one of them would really want him. There was only one gold...if he didn't Impress, it was likely to be a Turn until the next clutch. He didn't have that many Turns before he was too old...

Bamre repiled in agreement saying " Yeah because all that rellay matters is if the dragon wants you and no other person can rellay stop it because the dragons dont care. They just know who they want." He again thought about his doubts still thinking he would not impress, but trying to hang onto that measure of hope that he had been advised to have.

"I know, I'm all the way out here and what can the masterhealer do if I impress? I will probably just stay assigned here as a healer since most dragonriders practice a craft, I do know though that the masterhealer likes us to be without dragons, but I am already a journey woman," Getrara said with a smile. What could the masterhealer do? If a dragon chose her there was nothing that anybody could do.

Jator nodded. "You could always become a dragonhealer, too, if you wanted to...most of them are riders." He shrugs a bit. He didn't have a craft, but he could learn one easily enough...but then, he was just as happy to do transport duty and help out wherever the Weyr might need him.

Bamre then repiled agreeing with Jator he said " Yeah that way you could still be a rider and hopfully nobody would be mad at you." He himself would like to learn a craft, but he did not know which one he would like it rellay did not matter to him as long as learned somthing interesting.

"Why would someone be mad at me? How could they get mad at me for something I have no control over. Unless there is a spy here, how would they ever know that I was just "watching" the hatching when I suddenly impressed, " Getrara asked with a wink. How were they to know?

Jator chuckled. "Well, we need to make sure all fifteen of those dragons find partners." The small egg worried him a little, but it was...just small. Right? A very small green, probably.

Bamre wanted to get what he had said before He said " I want whats in the strange eggs I hope that they are whites." It was what he wanted and he was still hoping it would happen.

"Me, I'm pretty easy, any dragon picks me, I'm fine with it, though I almost think I would rather green than gold, since women don't impress to blue or brown. Though it might be fun, to be the first woman riding a blue, though I don't think browns will change to women anytime soon." Getrara said smartly. She always tried to know the facts then, looking at Bamre and said, "Wish you luck on your hopes for a white."

Jator chuckled. "Who knows...if they're going to start picking girls, now's gonna be the time." If they could. BUt greens picked guys sometimes...albeit generally rather girly guys.
