Levra went to the kitchens and stared at the place where thry supposedly had to make the first meal for the weyr. How in the world were they supposed to do that? Levra stared unhappily at the place before starting to search for some pots and pans, that would be the best way to start off.

Bamre walked into the kitchen guessing he would have to cook, but he was hoping that he would have help. So he walked in a saw Levra looking for somthing. So he ame up behind her and said " Hi Levra can I help."

"Can you find any pans? I was cooking some grains, though I might burn them," Levra said, her face showing her thinking about where the pans and cooking supplies might be.

Bamre began to look around. Then he looked over in counter and he found them a pulled them out and held them and said " I found now what do you want me to do with them."

"We need to add grains, wherever they are, and water. Some other spices and stuff can be added. Just put whatever you want in there. Its just food. It all goes in the stomach anyway," Levra said quite seriously.

Bamre repiled "Okay." He then began to look around and found the grain then he got some water and the other suppiles. He then began to put in all together and began to cook it. He then turned to Levra and said " Is that right?"

"Yeah, Do you think we should add some greenery, or maybe some spices. I do like tasty grains," Levra said looking for more spices. Her tongue could handle almost anything.

Bamre thought about this for a second knowing that he liked the same thing so he repiled " Sure I think that would be good. If you could find some then I will put them in."

Hearing this Levra started searching all the cabinets for anything she could add to the grains. She found a little bit of greens ina cool plcae and a couple of spices in a cabinet. She walked over and put them in with the grains. THis meal looked pretty appetizing.

Bamre continued to cook it for a mintiues ] and then he turned to Levra and asked to her " How long to you think we should let it cook before it is done?"

"I think it's not supposed to be sloppy with water, most of the water I believe is supposed to be absorbed or evaporated," Levra said, trying to make her memory wok and remember what it was supposed to be.

Bamre wacthed the food for a second then he repiled " Yeah I guess it would be better that way." So he sat there looking at it waiting for the water to evaporate.

Jator wandered over. "Where are...oh, forget it. Guys? What are you trying to cook?"
The young man was amused, folding his arms across his stomach. "Because I think you burned it, whatever it is."

Bamre and looked at Jator and said to him " Well why dont you come over here my friend and see if you can do better." He then smiled at him.

"We haven't burned it and its spicy grains with greens, a perfectly good meal for first meal," Levra said indignantly to the candidate that had just come over. She had come up with the idea so it was probably good.
