J'tor rubbed the oil into Bonjouth's hide. Again. At least he was not the boy who had Impressed the silver. The silver, ebony and rainbow dragons were growing far, far faster than their siblings. It didn't seem to be size, either. Just speed, their proportions shading more and more towards maturity.
No, he did not envy them. Less time to get used to their dragon. Far more oiling. Besides. Bonjouth was perfect for him. No other dragon could possibly be his partner. "Brown," he whispered, still not quite believing it.

Bamre was walking with Purth at his side when Purth suddenly expressed to him Mine I'm itching. Bamre smiled at the little white and said to him Well come lets see if we can find you some oil my friend. So Bamre found the oil then entered the barracks were he saw J'tor oiling Bonjouth's hide and he walked over next to the boy and said " Mind if we join you two." Purth then moved over and stood next to Bamre and Bamre began to rub oil into his hide and Purth said to him That feels good Mine. Bamre smiled at Purth. It was really all he could do any time he laid eyes on his little white dragon.

J'tor grinned. "Of course not. Even Purth's growing well," he noted. "Although that ebony is scarily huge already. I don't really envy Maylina."
If the black kept growing at that rate, she'd end up making the legendary Ramoth look like a green. "'Course, I wish Maylina had Impressed a green" She'd been putting on pretty bad airs...

Getrara was oiling her Puroth nearby. She smiled at the conversation and then said, "I am glad that Puroth seems normal, unlike those big dragons. I didn't really expect to impress above green in truth though."
Of course you deserve more than green! You deserve me. You shouldn't worry about others. You should worry about me! Puroth told Getrara.
Getrara almost sighed. Puroth really didn't seem to like her helping others, maybe she would grow out of it soon though. They normally did, at least by the time that they got out of weyrlinghood.

J'tor hrmed. "I don't know what I expected, but I wanted a brown. Maybe Bonjouth knew that. Your dragon is lovely, though," he complimented.
A female brown. He idly wondered if, as browns could sometimes sire clutches, the copper would ever lay any eggs?

Purth then looked over at Puroth and said to her Hello Puroth. Bamre agreed with J'tor " Yes I wonder if Purth knew the same thing. That I wanted a white even though I thought such a thing was not possible." Purth then said to Bamre Of course Mine. I would have chose you becuase you were always to be Mine.

J'tor grins. "Hey, it worked out, didn't it. And Bonjouth is right for me...I guess we both got the dragon colors we wanted."
And that was all that really mattered.

Bamre smiled at J'tor and said " I guess your right." He looked at the little white. Just being with the little dragon was like living in a fairy tale. He had always wanted a white think that they were the most beautiful of all dragons. Yet he had knew that before Purth there had only been one. Now before was the creature he loved most and he was happy.

J'tor smiled. "And when we fly togerther as weyrlings...'course, Purth will fly rings around Bonjouth."
For some reason, Bonjouth drooped a little. Maybe he didn't want to be beaten out by the little white?

Bamre luaghed at the little browns reaction to that and siad " Yeah but Purth is not going to be able to fly as long. I do worry about him somtimes becuase he seems to be abit more fraigle then the others. So I do my best not to over work him." He smiled at Purth as he siad though know though that Purth would though always tell him if he felt bad. Yet he always made sure the little white didn't over do it to much.

J'tor nodded. "I don't think that rainbow's going to be much bigger, they're just maturing faster. Maybe you can work with her rider on ways to get the most out of smaller dragons with less stamina."
He wondered if that rainbow would ever fly...and if she did, if Bonjouth would chase. He had to admit he wouldn't object to a night in the furs with Tirlynna. Or with the copper rider...what was the girl's name? Okay, that was embarrassing.

Bamre smiled and siad " Yeah that seems like a good idea. It would be good to figure that kind of stuff out." Bamre sighed he still worried about the white because there were so many things that seemed to make him differnt form the other dragons. He wondered if there were something that he did not even know of.

J'tor glanced at Bonjouth, who was still drooping. There was something wrong there, but he was going to wait for privacy to discuss it with his brown. "Yeah. I'm lucky. Nice, average-sized brown."
Lots of precedent to follow, training-wise.

Purth was looking over at his drooping clucth-sibling and he asked Bonjouth were Bamre could not hear him Bonjouth what is worng. You can tell me I won't tell anyone. Bamre smile at J'tor and said " I'm lucky to a nice handsome little white."

Bonjouth sent back to the white, miserably, But I don't -want- to fly.
"You are. I wonder how they'll fit him and Reinth into the wing drills."
