Anear smiled as she looked fondly around the room where meetings took place. She had been a member of this council since she had graduated as a weyrling. Every gold rider except that Kelyna and her Malaracyth had become members. Today they would invite new members to come in. These members were to act as spies for the High Council at that Weyr Community Hold/Community Weyr Hold place on the western continent. She wondered who from the council would go over there to be the leader of the spies. On the council there were three gold riders, three bronze riders, and four master craftsmen, and one of them would have to be the spies leader. Anear new that neither she nor her fellow gold riders would be good because they were well known. The master craftsmen probably wouldn't be good because they didn't have telepathic dragons to send and receive information. With a gesture of her hand towards the door wardens, Anear said, "please, bring in our new honorary members, then you may leave."

D'kin was already sitting in his spot waiting for the honorary members to come in. He was thinking how they would go about this whole plan. He knew they really needed infromation to see what those people were doing which sadly was a resourse that was severly lacking these days. Yet that was why this mission was important yet they had to be careful because one slip and they would be exposed and then it would be extermely hard to pull this stunt off again.

Mine, You are to old to still be running the council, we should go and spend our last years in peace.
My Hellith, I want to be doing this, it suits me. We should spend our last years helping Pern. Nirasha replied her dragon, the wrinkles on her face showed smiles and scowls, and long years in service of Pern.
She watched quietly as the honorary members walked in. One was a brown, the weyrmate of that flirty girl that Anear called a daughter. That girl should have impressed the gold that Malaracyth had, but instead she impressed to one of those flighty little greens! With him, of course, walked the girl, what was her name, Katrish? There was another green, Lara. Beside the Katrish girl was her daughter, Amerna. Beside that young Lara was a son, Fynl, that definitly looked to old to have been born to Lara. Nearby was a middle aged blue rider and a little bit younger blue rider. That made the spies a total of one brown, two blues, two greens, and two candidates, and one of them.
Nirasha stood up and adressed those of the High Council members that were already seated. "My fellow riders and master craftsmen, we have gathered here to make a spy force to send to the western continent. As I am sure you have heard, there are rumors that this upstar Kelyna has decide to make a weyr. I am quite certain that we had decided that there were more no weyrs and that thread was gone so what was the need. These rumors might or might not be true, but I do know that Kelyna has set up a fairly large sized Weyr Community hold and Community Weyr hold. She claims that she only wanted a Weyr Community Hold, but when Malaracyth was flown and clutched, they decided to train the young weyrling them selves. I mostly want to send spies there to make sure they are not causing trouble. I need one among us that wouldn't mind leading the spies, would anyone like to volunteer?" Nirasha felt she had done a good job with the speech.
A very nice speech, Mine
Thank you my Hellith

D'kin thought and he guessed that it would be best if he lead this. Beside he wanted to make sure that he found out all the imformation personally. then stood up and he smiled and said " I will volunteer to lead this."
