Zaren started out playing quietly, as most people were eating. Today was the gathering to celabrate a new turn. The western continent was having a simple afair, a small feast and some dancing on one night for the gather. No fancy shops yet. They had chosen Renegade hold since it could hold a lot of people and it was the best place for a gather. Zaren played quietly until he saw most people were done eating. He had played some of his own, sad and strange tunes, but when he felt it was time for dinner he struck up the beat, it was time for dance! He had his gitar picking loud and fast, a pretty little dance.
(OOC: Have fun with the gather...)

Tirlynna was glad, for once, of Reinth's rapid maturity. It meant the rainbowrider could spend more time at the Gather, without having to rush back to her dragon.
It meant she would be a full rider way before she was ready, but she could do nothing about that. Her custom-designed knot...it was hard to get that many colors in without being gaudy...made her feel self-conscious. Reinth was one of a kind, and she loved her, but in some ways...it would be so much easier to be a greenrider.
And, would anyone want to dance with her? She hovered, uncertain.

Bamre was being his usal shy self and was sitting at the egde of the gather. He had grabed some food and was sitting away form the crowd. He did not plan on dancing becuase he was trebbile at it. Purth was now curled up around him and his firelizards were sitting on him. Purth had come to the gather with Bamre becuase the dragon knew that his would have skipped it without him. Purth was now nugding Bamre and was saying to him Mine why don't you go dance so that you can have fun. I know you will like it. Bamre then sighed and to get Purth to stop bugging him he looked at the white and siad to him Fine my love I will make a deal with you. If someone ask me to dance. I will dance. The white then quit bugging his bonded and said to him Alright Mine yet you better keep your promise. Yet the white had plans for Bamre and he said to Tirlynna who was not dancing Tirylnna Mine would be willing to dance with you if you ask him. I think he is just scared to ask someone

Tirlynna couldn't help but grin a bit at the matchmaking dragon. She wandered over to Bamre. "Hey there," she greeted.
Now could she pluck up the courage to actually ask him to dance. She could do worse for a dancing partner. Her brother was around somewhere, mind, if all else failed...assuming it wasn't an intimate dance.

Bamre looked at Tirlynna and smiled and he siad to her " Hello Tirlynna you look lovely today." He was suprised those words had even came out of his mouth. As he looked at her he had to admit that she was. Yet still he didn't know. Could it be that he had fallen for her. He did not know. He guessed he would have to find out. Purth made a small rumbling laughter at his bondeds thoughs and siad to him So it seems you have fanilly found somone you like Mine. Bamre looked back at the white and then back at Tirlynna and by now he was blushing abit.

Tirlynna blushed. "Thank you." The blushing seemed to become contagious.
Or maybe the white dragon was teasing his rider. "Do..." Breath. "Do you want to dance?"
There. She'd said it. But then, she was -safe- with Bamre, his dragon was too young for him to do anything. Reinth probably was too, realistically, accelerated growth or not.

Bamre looked at her and smiled as he stood up and siad " Sure I would love to." He then puased and siad " Yet I don't really know how so you would have to show me." He was still blushing abit. He began to think that maybe he did like her. He just looked at her and smiled abit.

Tirlynna laughed. "Really, the only thing that matters is not stepping on your partner's feet."
She reached for his hand. Did she like him? She wasn't sure, but he did have a certain cuteness to him...although...if they did end up together, he'd have to learn to live with Reinth's flights.

Bamre luaghed abit and siad " I will have to remember to try not to." When she reached for his hand he out and took her hand and this again made him blush abit as he smiled at her. Bamre's other firelizards had flown over and were sitting next to Purth. Diamond though did not leave her perch becuase she could feel her pets neverousness and did not want to leave him if she did not have to. So she rubbed her head angist his cheek and this was able to undo some of the knots in Bamre's stomch at the moment yet not all of them.

M'lir stood to the side of the dance square, finishing off a bubbly pie. His gaze was on the dancers, and he spotted two of his fellow weyrlings and smiled. Taking the last bite of the pie, he wiped his mouth with his sleeve. It came away covered in berry juice, and he shook his head. He had made a big mess of his tunic!
Are you enjoying yourself, Holath? he asked the bronze, who was sitting on the Heights with some other dragons. Gathers are messy and disorganized. I am enjoying myself as best I can, the bronze replied primly.

Levra glared at anyone who tried to get her to dance. She would not dance and that was final! She also was not enjoying the gather, Zoeth had forced her to come and had forcered her to eat, but she would not dance! She didn't even like the idea of trying to, so she sat there, glaring at everybody, waiting for someone to tell her she was allowed to get shardin out of this shardin place.
D'ket loved the gather because of the cheerful atmosphere. He liked it that his friend was dancing, and the awsome bubbly pies. He would swear that he had had at least three already, along with roasted herdbeast and some othere good tasting food. He had to admit, Zaren was playing pretty well.
Getrara was only slightly saddened at the fact that she was not a healer anymore. She loved her Puroth and that's all that really mattered. Puroth might be a pain sometimes, "defending" her from others, but she still loved the little copper. Puroth had landed herself beside Holath and then said to Holath, I don't like this, being up here, away from mine. You?

Tirlynna led Bamre out onto the dance floor. It was a simple dance, one she could lead without making it embarrassingly obvious that she was doing so.
She was glad Diamond had stayed, the gold was a pretty shoulder ornament. For right now, she was paying full attention to her partner. He deserved it, after all.

Jerria found somewhere to lean, and worry, she was, for the moment, alone, Zephyr had been left with Ink to watch the herds as the firelizard could be relied upon to alert his minething instantly if a threat he and Ink could not drive off appeared, and Jahzara and Jazask were most likely sleeping, they would appear later.
The reason for the worry that pressed the lean woman’s mouth into a flat line was a simple matter of supplies. Though grazing was plentiful enough that the supplies of grain and forage she had brought with her would hold out for some months yet suppliers still needed to be found. Also she was running annoyingly low on worked metal goods like screws, nails, and hinges.

Bamre was enjoying dancing with Tirlynna. He was gald that she was able to lead without it being obvious. He was still neverous though every time he looked at her. He was sure by now that he liked her. He was thought gald that Diamond was sitting on his shoulders it made him less neverous. Bamre said to Tirlynna with a smile " You dance very well."

M'lir looked around for a dance partner. He glanced at Levra, then decided against it when he saw her glare. Smiling at Getrara, he walked up to the Copper rider and bowed gracefully. "Would you care for a dance, my lady?"
I like the sun here, and I think Mine needs to get a backbone of his own, Holath answered, a touch grumpily. I worry about him, but he needs to learn to stand on his own two feet.
Maylina watched Bamre and Tirlynna move across the dance floor and smirked. Those two would make a perfect match. She gingerly took a few neat bites of her bubbly pies. Spotting D'ket, she strode over to him, smiling flirtatiously. "Hello, D'ket. Are you enjoying the Gather?"
