Bamre looked up at the green and smiled. Iron and Emerald flew over and land on the green. Bamre smiled at Diamond and siad to her " You can go to if you want to aslo my dear." The gold then flew over and landed on the greens head. All five firelizards chirped a greeting at the green. Then Purth siad to her Hello Dirrith. It is very nice to meet you. Yours is a very nice person though I must say. Most people find Mine to be strange. Though she did not. Bamre sat down looking at the green curiously and Purth curled around him. Ruby and Shapphire took up spots on Bamre's shoulders. Bamre then said to the green " It is very nice to meet you Dirrith. You are quite a bueatiful green so I am quite gald I have the pleasure if meeting you."

Dirrith snorted when Iron and Emerald landed on her. Oh, they tickle, she said to Keila. The green turned around to peer at the little flits. She peering at the bold flits when Diamond landed on her head. Startled, Dirrith pulled her head back and shook it but the gold flit stayed on. They could have asked before using me as a perch, Dirrith complained to Keila. Be nice, love Keila told her. Dirrith hummed a greeting back to the firelizards, but hers was less enthusiastic. She resituated her wings and looked down at the little white. Hello, Purth. I tend to like my rider as well. She was a good choice. She leaned down and bumped her head against Keila's back. Keila laughed and stroked Dirrith's eye ridges. "I suppose I'll have to do," she told the dragon. Dirrith turned her gaze toward Bamre. After hearing his compliment, she turned her head to the side and preened. You are quite the polite young man. Most people pay more attention to the rider than the dragon. "Don't make her head too big," Keila said teasingly. Dirrith sniffed at Keila, You should compliment me more often. Oh, don't start on that...

Bamre smiled up at the green and siad " The only reason that they use you as a purch shows that they like you." Bamre coutined to look at the green and siad " Yet I don't see why people pay more attention to the riders than the dragons. I find the dragons to be much more intersting. Even flits are somtimes more intersting." He then looked at Kaila and siad " Please don't take offense to that Kaila. I was not meaning that you are unintersting." Purth then made a small rumbling sound of luaghter and said to the green Mine has never been a people person and prefers the company of us dragons and the little flits over people. Bamre smiled at the white comment. They both knew though that there was one person though who was a expection to that. Yet that was somthing they kept to themselves.

Dirrith glanced at Keila and her eyes whirled in amusement. You're exactly right, white rider. I find that dragons are almost always more interesting than riders. Especially my rider. I must say that I lead a more interesting life than she... "Oh, is that right?" Keila said, putting her hands on her hips. She smirked at the green dragon who was preening. "I forgot just how interesting your life of laying on rocks and sunning yourself was. Must remember that in the future." Good idea, mine. Keila grinned at Bamre, "No offense taken. I think I've met a few people whose flits are better company than they are." On her shoulder, Sniff curled his tail around her neck and pouted. Sighing, she scratched his head, giving him extra attention. "Big baby," she whispered to him. He is a very different human, Dirrith said to the white, But it is a welcome difference.

Bamre luaghed abit at the greens comment as he looked at Keila. He could tell that he was going to be good freinds with these two. Espically Dirrith. Bamre siad " I don't know I have always found sitting around and just reading to be the funnest thing. So I would have to agree with you Dirrith that sunning yourself sounds more intersting." He then looked at Keila and siad " I though fell sorry for flits who are with people who find the creatures annoying. I guess when you have one die to protect you like I did it makes you love the little ones so much more." Bamre loved his little flits with all his heart. Just as much he loved Purth. He knew that no person in the world could be more improtent to him than his family.

Keila smiled. “Oh, I like reading every now and then, but I just have to stay busy. That’s why I can’t sleep all the time like Dirrith here,” she reached over and scratched Dirrith’s eyeridge affectionately. Does he think that you find flits annoying? Dirrith asked Keila privately, startled. I don’t think so… Keila looked at Bamre uneasily; she couldn’t exactly decide just what he thought of her, considering that he didn’t seem to like people much. But as far as she could tell, he wasn’t trying to be mean. Out loud she said, “I’ve never had one die for me, Sniff’s the only one I’ve ever had, but I still love him very much of course.”

Bamre smiled at her and said to her reasurrely " Yes I could tell that you loved Sniff very much form the beganing. Even though he is sad acting that is just his personatilly. Yet I could sense his affection for you and your love for him." Bamre then sighed and siad " Yes I did I have a flit die for me. It really hit me hard. It is one of the reasons I don't like people as much becuase it was some mean kids that killed him while he was trying to protect me form them. I cut myself for awhile after that becuase I blamed myself. Yet Purth and my fair have always tought me that it was not my fault." Purth then siad to the Bamre It was never your fault Mine. You did the best you could to protect Steel. Purth then said to the green Mine used to always be sad over it. I wish he would not have hurt himself over it though. Yet that little blue at that time had been his only friend in the world and when he lost it. He became very deperssed.

He's quite perceptive. Or at least he believes himself to be,Dirrith said, directing her comment only at her rider. Keila allowed herself a private smile. He enjoys flits, dear, so maybe he is very perceptive. Dirrith glanced over at Bamre. Perhaps... Keila stared at Bamre after he told her about cutting himself. That didn't seem like the white rider, but then again, she had not known him back there. Do you think he's mentally stable? Dirrith asked her. Be nice, Dirrith. He's been through a lot, obviously. It was just a question, said Dirrith before she looked back at Bamre and Purth. I am glad you have stopped harming yourself. I doubt the flit would have liked that. Keila stroked Sniff's head and the little blue snorted at her. "She's right," Keila told Bamre, "If your flit gave its life for you, he would not want you putting yourself in danger."

By now all of Bamres flits had returned to him and taken up there purches all over his body. He then looked at the green and siad " Yes I know that. He then picked Iron up off his back and held the brown and he then said " It was becuase of this little guy that I stopped. As I said before he is the oldest. It was shortly after I impressed him that I stopped becuase it made Iron so sad and he would try to stop me. That helped me understand that Steel which is the name of that dead flit would have done the same." Bamre then smiled and siad " Yet egough of such sad talk we should move on to happier topic's. You have no need to worry about becuase I have Purth and my fair now so I don't feel so alone." He then looked to the green and said to her " Oh and Dirrith I would like to apoligize for having awaked you form your nap to meet me. It was just I enjoy meeting new dragons epcessially those as lovely as yourself."

Both Keila and Dirrith were happy to move on from such a depressing topic. Sniff, however, had seemed to enjoy the fact that everyone else was jut as melancholy as him for a moment. He grumbled softly when everyone started smiling. After being complimented again, Dirrith looked over at Keila with a smug expression. Never mind, he's perfectly sane. He's sees my perfection and respects it. Oh, hush, you. Dirrith nodded to Bamre. I do not mind. Meeting you has definitely been an experience I would not have wanted to miss. Dirrith looked down at Purth, So, little Purth, you are new to the world. Are you enjoying it so far?

Bamre smiled at the green. Then Purth said to her Yes I do quite enjoy it alot. First Mine saves me form my egg. Then there is the fact that people are so nice around here. Though they seem to gawk at me and Mine some yet we don't really care. Then there are the flits. I would have to say that my love for them is a qualtiy me and Mine denfintly share. Purth then rubbed his head aginst Bamres side and Bamre smiled at the white and began to pet his eye rigdes and all of Bamre's flits expect for Ruby and Shapphire landed on the white and chriped there affection to him. Bamre smiled and siad " Yes Purth has always enjoy the flits company. That is anthoer reason I am glad I have a large fair."

"I do love having both a dragon and a flit," Keila agreed. She loved Dirrith with all her laziness, and Sniff with all his depression. She couldn't imagine being without them.Of course you do, Dirrith said. Dirrith then looked at Keila hopefully, Since you got me up so early can we go to the beach? "You just want to go sleep," Keila said accusingly. Yes, Dirrith's tail flickered back and forth lazily. She refused to think there was anything wrong with sleeping so much. Though I wouldn't mind eating either, she said on reflection. Keila sighed and shook her head, then gave Bamre an apologetic look, "It seems like Dirrith is insisting on attention," she stood up, "Want to come?" she asked, "If not, I'm sure I'll see you around," she gave him a friendly smile.

Bamre stood up as did Purth and then all of Bamres flit flew over and purched on there pet again and Bamre smiled and siad " Yes I would love to go to the beach. I have been inside and I think it would be fun to get some fresh air or go swimming. I diffenty think I will be swimming. So I would love to come. Though we would have to walk to get there becase Purth can't fly me there yet. He is still too small." Bamre could tell all of his flits were excited because the all wanted to go play in the water and swim around with there pet.

“We’ll walk then,” Keila said. Walking would take longer, but at least they would get to the beach eventually. Keila was looking forward to splashing beneath the waves and enjoying herself. Dirrith loved the water too, almost more than her rider. However, she liked sunning herself on the shore more than riding. Sniff chirruped in agitation as Keila started walking; he thought that where they were was just fine. Keila rolled her eyes and poked him in the side. She glanced over at Bamre as they walked, noticing how he was covered in flits again. “Isn’t it hard for you to walk like that?” she asked curiously, “I mean, I bet you’re used to it, but wouldn’t it be easier for you and healthier for them for them to fly?”

Bamre smiled at her and said " Not really it does not bother me at all. I mean the reason that I wake so early in the morning is to excesie and stuff and they usally fly around with me getting most of there exercise then. So therefore I let them do whatever they want the rest of the day. Beside Ruby and Shapphire are too young to fly anyway." They soon reached the beach and the instant Bamre stepped out onto the sand Diamond, Iron and Emerald took off and immedaintly began to play in the water and Ruby and Shapphire began to chrip at Bamre tell him to get in the water so they could to.
