F'mar gathered all of the green, blue, brown, copper, and sapphire weyrlings in the Weyrbowl. When they were all around, he got their attention for a lecture.
"Communication is one of the most important things about being a rider. In Thread fall, rider and dragon must work together to spot all of the clumps of Thread, and they need to know instantly when the other has been hurt."
He picked up a box of blindfolds and started holding them out. "Today we're going to play a little game. You will blindfold yourself, and then your dragons will fly and hide somewhere. You have to find them using only dragonsight and telepathy. Any questions?"

J'tor shook his head. No questions.
At the mention of flying, Bonjouth wilted a little, although he was visibly trying not to. He would -not- admit to his fear.
J'tor, however, had an inkling of what was wrong...how could he not? I will be brave for both of us. he told his brown, smiling a little as he took the blindfold.
This was a fun game, and that was what he tried to send to the young dragon.

While F’mar had been talking, R’yan had been staring off into the distance, wondering how on Pern he was going to get enough shiny things to satisfy Douxth’s odd craving. The green was currently focusing on a coin that R’yan had given her, and R’yan, feeling her personality wrap around his, was having a hard time concentrating on F’mar.
R’yan finally looked up and paid attention when F’mar held up the box of blindfolds. Well, this could possibly be interesting. But were there any rules to this game? Ask… said Douxth. That was a word Douxth loved almost more than shiny. She was always ‘asking’ R’yan things or ‘asking’ him to ‘ask’ someone else something. R’yan sighed and called out to F’mar. “Are there any limits to where they hide?” It wouldn’t do for an especially adventurous dragon to go flying off to the shore or something.

Bamre sighed as he took a blind fold with Purth sitting there beside him. He looked at the white and they both had the same thought going through there heads. That there were six little flits that would do what they could to help him. Even if they were not supposed to. Bamre just hoped that Diamond and Topaz could keep them under control and from trying to help him. Becuase the point was for just him and Purth trying to do this togther. He thought was pretty sure that this would be esay. Bamre smiled at Purth and siad to him You ready to do this Purth. It should be esay my friend. Right? Purth looked at Bamre and siad Of course it will be Mine. I will help you so there for I am pretty sure that we can do it.

F'mar nodded at R'yan, the green weyrling had made a good point. "Your dragons should stay in the weyrbowl, just to keep things more organized," he told the weyrlings. "Oh, and one more rule. No fire lizard helpers!" He glanced at Bamre as he said this, only for a second.
"Okay, if you're ready, you can begin!"

Bonjouth really didn't want to fly. He forced himself aloft, awkwardly, looking for a good spot to 'hide' from his rider.
The brown knew he had to get over his little problem...
...but it was not at all easy to do so. And he couldn't upset J'tor. He chose a place by a lump of fairly distinctive looking rocks to land.

Bamre then smiled and looked at Purth and rubbed the white's eye ridges and siad to him Alright my dear you ready to go. Purth nugded Bamre and siad Of course Mine. The only question is are you ready Bamre smiled at Purth and just shook his head. Bamre then put on the blind fold and just sat there and the Purth took off and flew and hid behind some rocks on the other side of the Weyrbowl and he landed behind them.
