C'lyn had told Tirlynna about the new bronzerider.
That wouldn't have worried her, except now Malaracyth rose. Pretty soon, she might not be the weyrleader's sister.
Which would also not have worried her if the only competition was F'mar. This new guy...gave C'lyn vibes of being trouble.
She also wondered what would happen when and if Reinth rose. Would she clutch?

Bamre was walking across the Weyr bowl when he saw Tirlynna. Purth was following him and has he neared her Diamond appered above him followed by the rest of his fair. He just smiled at them appering. He walked up to her and siad " Hello Tirlynna. What you thinking about?" She seemed to be in thought so he asked. Diamond settled on her shoulders as his fair landed around them and Purth sat down behind Bamre. Diamond then looked at Tirlynna and sent her a image of Dawn becuase the older gold wanted to see the younger one who had been so nervous.

Dawn emerged from behind Reinth's bulk...the dragon might be small, but she was a perfect hiding place for a firelizard. She chittered to her mother, then settled on Tirlynna's shoulder.
"My brother doesn't like this new bronzerider, and..." She tails off. "I should judge the guy for myself, I suppose."

Diamond looked at Dawn and chriped at her in motherly fashion and then moved and settled on Tirlynna's other shoulder. She sent Dawn a image of what Dawn had done at the hacthing and then looked at her curiously. Bamre then heard her talk about the new bronze rider and he siad " Trust me he makes Maylina look nice and I can tell you he hate's flits and mutations. So therefore he won't like Renith and then he will think bad of you becuase of it and becuase you have flits and a dragon. He thinks having flits and a dragon distracts the rider form the dragon. Though I think he hates me now becuase I made him look like a fool and insulted him and his intellegents. He deserved it after he insutled Purth and my fair. He called my flits disgusting paraistes."
The anger over the whole thing showed in the white riders face.

Tirlynna frowned. "If he becomes Weyrleader..." She could leave. Reinth was not quite mature enough to go between, but she would soon.
Bamre, though...she could not leave without him. She reached up to scritch Dawn, who was on her shoulder, Clay having settled onto one of Reinth's neckridges. "If he becomes Weyrleader, he's going to destroy this Weyr," she said finally, grimly.

Bamre thought about that for a sec and siad " No I don't think he will be able to do that. Your brother won't let him." He then smiled and siad " Nor will Kelyna or Malaracyth ethier. So I think we are safe there. Though if he thinks he can stop me form giving people flits or anything that would affect my fair in a negtive fashion then he is dead wrong. I don't care if he is Weyrleader next time he insult Purth or my fair I will make him wish he didnt." Bamre was confedinet he could do that to and he was not above letting his fair help. That man desevered it.

Tirlynna shook her head. "He'll be at odds with Kelyna, yes, and that's part of what makes it so bad. And if you touch him, he'd be within his rights to punish you."
Her face looked a little bit paler. "Promise me you won't do anything stupid."
They had enough trouble, she thought, without an not a very nice person as weyrleader. Then a thought hit her. "I hope his dragon flies -Renth-."

Bamre wish that man would never had come here. They did not need people like that in this Weyr. He then looked at Tirlynna and put a hand on her shoulder and siad " Don't worry I promise I won't do anything stupid. I have egough to worry about without doing anything foolish." Though Tirlynna's last statment made him snicker and he siad " Yes that man would be prefect for Maylina. Though I would feel sorry for his dragon becuase even though that man is mean his dragon is very nice."

Tirlynna smiled. "It's not just that. If his dragon developed some affection for Renth, it might make him think."
She sighed a bit. "I hope he doesn't fly -my- dragon. I'd rather have, say, J'tor. But a bronze may not be able to catch her anyway."
Despite that, she was still planning on sending Dawn to warn C'lyn when Reinth went proddy. Just in case.
"She'll probably prefer blues."

Bamre thought for a sec and siad " I would hate for his dragon to fly yours to. Yet you are probley right about a bronze not being able to cacth her." Bamre sighed if only Purth could fly then he would be prefect to fly Reinth. Oh well that was just the way things were and with that thought Bamre seemed to trail off in his thoughts.

Tirlynna shrugged. "If he does, then I'll deal with it. It's part of being a rider."
Bamre was lucky enough to escape that, but Tirlynna had been very much raised to this. "'Course, if he does, I'm gonna be taking a short trip between afterwards. I'm not carrying -those- genes forward."
Ow. Thankfully, the bronzerider being referred to was nowhere close...

Still Bamre knew it would bother him. Oh well as she said it was all part of being a rider. He then looked back Purth who was now absent mindly playing with Emerald and Ruby. Bamre smiled, but he began to curiously wonder what about would make up for his inablity to -fly-. Though Bamre was gald not to have to do that. He still wondered. He guessed he would have to wait till Purth got older to find out. He then looked down and Sapphire was sitting there biting and pulling on his shirt trying to get his attention. He looked at the blue who was looking at him hungerly and Bamre smiled and then looked at Iron who did his usal trick expect he came back with a fish and Bamre took it and gave it to Sapphire. The little blue loved to eat that was for sure. He then looked a Tirlynna and luaghed a small bit saying " Yes that would probely be smart." He was sorta wishing the bronzerider had over heard it. Diamond then looked at Tirylnna and sent her a image of Clay becuase she was curious of were he was aslo.

Clay? That would be the brown head peeking over the brown part of Reinth. The firelizard did not betray his location. It was far more fun not to be seen!
Tirlynna smiled. "I'd rather -you- were the father of any kid I had." Then she blushed scarlet, as if she had not meant to say that. Probably, she had not.

Diamond then looked over to were Clay was and chriped to him to come on over to her. She wanted to see her son. Diamond had a habit of checking up on all the hacthlings form her clucth. She wanted to make sure they were all right. At the next statment she said he immedenlty blushed and was even redder than Tirlynna. He was so neverous he almost could not look at her. He never had expected anyone to remotly say anything like that to him and he had a small smile on his face and he then neverously hugged Tirlynna and as he did he siad " Thanks Tirlynna that means alot." It had really made his day. He then looked at her curiously and siad " Are you serious Tirlynna. Would you ever think of doing such a thing. I mean not now, but in the far future." He was wondering if she would ever contemplat such a thing. He knew that it would not be right now, but in the far future. The way he said this indecated that knowlagde

Tirlynna smiled shyly. "Yeah. I mean...it can't be yet."
Although Purth was a white, and thus would probably not be harmed if they were to...Reinth was not yet sexually mature, despite her rapid growth.
She had to be as careful as a greenrider, without any indications that the rainbow was steadier with regards to such matters. She thought she was, but was not about to risk her dragon.
