Tirlynna smiled. "Reinth wants to stay unique, but..."
She doubted that. There would be others. And if Reinth herself proved fertile, what would she lay? She had mixed feelings about that.
The idea of being stuck on the Sands with a broody dragon was part of why she had never wanted a gold.

Purth raised his head out of Bamre's lap and looked at Tirlynna and said There is no reason to worry. She will always be unique. Even if there are other rainbows they will never be able to hold the title of being the first rainbow dragon. So in that aspect you need not worry. Bamre smiled and siad " Purth is right. If Reinth ever worries about being unique just tell her that. Becuase it is ture." Purth looked at Tirlynna curiously and said Why are you so worried about Reinth? She will be fine. Nothing is going to happen to her and whatever does happen I know you two can get through it. The white dragon then laid his head back in Bamre's lap though he was still looking Tirlynna.

Tirlynna grinned. "Oh, she's being thoroughly silly."
She studied Purth. There had been a white dragon once before. Now there was one again. That proved, in her mind, that nothing was entirely unique.
Nothing and no one.

Bamre smiled and siad " That may be the case, but at least you have somthing to tell her if she does fret over. Though I doubt she will." Purth then siad to her Everything has a diffenret way of being uquie. I am uquie becuase I the only white around at this moment and time. Though there was one before there is not one now. So in that aspect I am uquie. It is more of all about ingoring what makes you the same and finding the good things that make you special. Purth hoped that Tirlynna was following what he was saying though he suspected she was.

Tirlynna smiled. "Right now she's the most agile dragon in the air, but when Purth catches up growth-wise."
She did wish Purth was a blue, some days. So that he could fly Reinth. But there was no changing it, and Bamre would not be the person he was if he'd Impressed blue.
Or the person he was would not have. She was not sure.

Bamre smiled as he sracthed Purths head and siad " Yeah I guess that he will be faster. Though they were not that much bigger than each other when they were born. So there speed differnt should not be that much. Though I am pretty sure it will be noticable." Purth then sat up and looked at Tirlynna and siad to her Tirlynna I have a question. Where is Reinth at this moment? I wanted to talk to her. Emerald and Sapphire moved over and climbed up onto Purth. Bamre smiled at the two firelizards. He knew the firelizards liked to be with Purth.

"She was sunning by the lake."
Was being the operative word as the dragon patched with five colors lifted off from said location to flap-glide over to her rider, saving her energy as much as possible. She rumbled a greeting to Purth.
"See. She got tired of being left out of the conversation."

Iron and Ruby flittered over to Reinth and landed on her and Bamre smiled and siad " Hello Reinth. Well it looks like Purth is not the only dragon the firelizards are fond of." Purth looked up at her as she arrived and siad to her Hello Reinth. How are you today? The rest of Bamre's fair chriped there greetings to the rainbow dragon. Bamre luaghed a small bit and siad " Well I am gald that she decided to join us."

Reinth lowered her head and tilted an eye ridge to her rider, who laughed and reached up to rub it. "Hedonist."

Purth then looked at Renith and siad That is becuase she is the prettiest dragon on Pern. Bamre smiled and reached out and began to pet Purths eye rigdes and siad to the white " Not in my book my dear. You will always be the prettiest to me."

Tirlynna smiled. "Purth is just the...cutest."
Which might seem disparaging, but he was small and he had that lovely white gleam to his hide. Plus, he had such an incredibly outgoing personality that he couldn't really be anything but cute.
Dawn squawked.
"And Dawn, you're the prettiest firelizard...although Diamond might disagree."
Every gold was the prettiest, really.

Purth let out a small rumble of luaghter and siad I don't mind being just the cutest. Becuase Renith is the prettiest. Though I am the smarest If there was one thing the white took pride in it was his intellegents. That was becuase Bamre had raised him to take pride in that aspect of himself. When though Dawn squawked Diamond squawked back her disagreement even louder. Bamre laughed and siad " Yep I think that Diamond does disagree with that statement." He looked at Diamond and siad " Yeah my dear we all know that your the boss." Which she was being the senior queen firelizard.

It seemed to fit the situation. At least Reinth wasn't a gold. She wondered, though, when the rainbow dragon would fly. Or when the black one would.
They seemed to be maturing at about the same rate...

Bamre luaghed and siad " Yep Queens. They can be quite silly somtimes can't they." He wondered when the next time Diamond would fly becuase he really wanted to see if she would lay anthoer egg with a pink in it. He really wanted one of those becuase the pink was so cute and he was the most flirtous little thing you have ever saw. He then looked at Tirlynna and smiled and then looked at Renith and siad to her " Renith you have been awfully quite. How are you doing?"

I'm fine, the rainbow sent. Just thinking about stuff.
Tirlynna grinned. "At least Reinth's not a queen. But she's not a green either. She's...sort of between the two. She never flirts, either. But that may be because she's so young."
