Bamre luaghed and then with a smirk siad " I am in alot of people's head Aphrodie." He enjoyed doing that somtimes just to mess with people though he never did it in a mean or hurtful way and always in jest. He looked at his brother " Don't worry you will eventually get the color of firelizard you want. I will try my best to make sure of it."
Andol just sighed as he said " Though right now I am more worried about Leaf." He cuddled his green firelizard who had returned to him form were she had been beside Shimi. " She is glowing again or at least I think she is. This happens alot when I think she is, but she is not. She has never flown before and she was one of Iron's clucth mates which makes her 3 turns old and she is a green. I don't know why she hasn't." Though in reality he knew why. The green never left his side. She ingored males and only really paid antteion to him. She was a very motherly flit. She would problery only fly if Andol could impress a male flit.

Aphrodie hrmed. "Maybe she's just really picky and none of the males around suit her?"
Maybe that was it. It was more likely with golds than with greens, but it could happen. "Maybe she'll decide she likes some of the ones here and fly...and then -you- will have eggs to give out."

Andol just sighed. " No that is not it. I have not gone one moment for the last three turns with out her next to me. I think she is to worried about me to leave me alone. At least that is feeling I get form her. Yet I don't know really becuase if it is that she has not found any males that suit her then I would love to see the one that does becuase that will be some firelizard. That is if that is case."
Bamre looked at Leaf and siad " Now that you mention I havn't ever seen you without Leaf. You might be right on that." He then looked at Aphrodie and siad " Though if that is correct then she will mate when he impresses a male firelizard. Becuase Iron acted the same way. At least though not as bad becuase the frist time he mated was when he sired the clucth that Ruby and Sapphire came form."

Aphrodie smiled. "I don't think I'm going to have that problem with Ocean or Shimi."
Neither were particularly aloof, but they were definitely not clingy, either. They were about in the middle, she supposed. "And I know Ocean is going to want a good...umm...turnout."
Sometimes, the aqua queen was a tad defensive about not being a gold.

Andol just cuddled Leaf closer to him. " I don't really consider it problem really. I sorta like having her around all the time. Becuase she is the most perious thing in the world to me and it allows me to keep a eye on her. Though I would really like her to actully play with other firelizards more than she does. Though now that my brother has such a large fair I don't think that will be a problem anymore."
Bamre just grinned. " Yes I am sure that they will all become fast friends." Bamre was not to worried about Leaf being as clingy as she used to be becuase he could see that for the frist time his brother was actually attempting to make friends. He just hoped that if his brother impressed that he would not revert to his extermely shy self.

Shimi chose that point to appear and go 'after' Leaf, chittering.
Her approach was definitely playful, not aggressive, and Aphrodie giggled. "Shimi! Leave Leaf alone!"
Ocean chirped too, but this once, the green wasn't listening. She wanted to play!

Andol almost paniced abit when he saw Shimi flying at them becuase he knew that Leaf could be very defensive. Yet Leaf picked up on his filling of panic and took it to mean her pet was afarid of Shimi and she crawled on Andol's shoulder and spread her wings and began to hiss fericely at Shimi. Andol then said " No Leaf don't she is not trying to hurt me." Yet Leaf did not listin and kept hissing. Andol tensed up ready to grab Leaf if she tried to take off.
Bamre aslo knew what Shimi started to do was a mistake and the instant he saw Leaf spread her wings and hiss he quickly got up and tried grab Shimi out of midair not caring if he got bitten. Diamond aslo chriped at Shimi telling her to stop. Purth though was trying to help Andol reason with Leaf. It is ok little one. I would not let her hurt him even if she tried. There is no need to hiss. Yet the little green was only going to stop when she felt her pet was not longer threatened.

"Shimi! Behave!"
The green squawked as she was grab, but didn't bite...although if Bamre wasn't careful, he might get scratched.
"Greens," Aphrodie pronounced. "They're silly." Maybe she'd get a green dragon, though, and then she'd have to take that back. Not that green dragons weren't also...silly. Yeah. But sometimes silly was fun. Not right now. "Shimi, come here."

The instant Bamre grabbed Shimi out of the air. Leaf began to calm down becuase she felt that her pet was no longer in danger. She then reaxled and sat on his shoulders curling her tail around his neck. Andol began to scracth Leaf's head to calm her down more. Yet the green wacthed the other green wearly. Andol sighed. " I am really sorry that she just gets over protective sometimes."
Bamre just held on to Shimi and he then went and sat her down next to Aphrodie and gave the green a look that said " Stay." He then walked back over and sat down where he had been sitting and looked at Aphrodie " Try to keep Shimi away form Leaf for a while becuase she is now supious of Shimi and might pounce her at the slightest sign and trust me I will not let my brothers firelizard die. So I will seperate them using Diamond and when she breaks up a fight both Leaf and Shimi are not going to feel good afterward." Bamre had a seroius look on his face. Andol and Leaf where as close has him and Steel had been and he was not going to let what happened to him happen to his brother.

Aphrodie nodded. Ocean, for her part, suddenly pounced on Shimi, holding her down for just a moment. She was reminding the green exactly who was boss in the fair and Aphrodie frowned, then nodded again. "I don't think we need to worry."
As soon as Ocean released her, Shimi vanished between...undoubtedly to sulk.

Andol just shook his head in agreement and said " Your right there is no reason to worry though I will make sure to keep Leaf away form Shimi for awhile. Just in case. It is better to be safe than sorry in my opintion. Especially when it comes to the health of our firelizards." Andol ment what he said. Though he did not think it would be a promblem becuase Leaf looked like she might be getting along well with the other firelizards so maybe she would be distracted. Leaf then took off Andol's shoulders and flew up and landed right on top of Purth's head.
Purth just looked up at the green and let out a small rumble and siad Ok little one if you enjoy sitting there it is ok with me. Bamre just smiled at Leaf who was now like most firelizards friends with Purth.

Aphrodie grinned. "You know. Purth does rhyme with 'perch'," she teased the white dragon.
Not that she wasn't a perch herself a good part of the time Including right now, as Ocean flitted back to her shoulder and settled there. She'd had to sew pads into all of her clothes...both sides.
At least Shimi didn't land on her head and ruin her hairstyle any more.

Purth just looked at Aphrodie You right it does. Yet I just like to play with them. They are quite fun. Purth liked the firelizards and it was obvious that they liked him. Andol turned around and looked at Leaf were she was sitting and just smiled at her.
Bamre just luaghed. " Somtimes it is good to have him around so I don't have so many firelizards perching on me." Not that Bamre was not prepared for it. He had had all of his cloths made where firelizards could purch all over him and not hurt him with there claws.

Aphrodie wondered if Ocean and Shimi would end up hanging out on her dragon. Well, she'd see. As long as she didn't Impress a dragon who disliked firelizards...such did exist. It wasn't like she could just get rid of the green and aqua, after all.

Bamre just luaghed and siad " Yeah well I may have only two shoulders, but firelizards do not always land and perch on your shoulders. Somtimes to my back or chest. That is why I have my cloths espcially made for where I can have firelizards purch all over me and not scarth me on accident." He remembered some of the time that all of his firelizards had purched on him. It was quite fun when they did that actually.
