It was mid-morning, and Maylina was having a late breakfast in the lower caverns. She had been even grumpier than usual lately, and she had a good idea of why that was. Renth matured so much faster than the other weyrlings, it made sense she would rise early. Maylina just hoped those lousy males would show up, or else Renth was going to be very angry.
She was startled when a loud bugle echoed through the Weyr. Dropping her sthingy, she hurried outside, where she saw Renth flying swiftly to the feeding grounds. "BLOOD IT!" she screamed mentally and out loud. The two strong wills fought, and Maylina won. Renth sucked the beast dry, then went for another. After blooding the second beast, she screeched out her challenge to the males of the Weyr before launching herself into the air and speeding away.
((Okay, since I know we don't have a ton of eligible males for this Flight, I'm allowing NPCs. Maybe one of the NPC spies? Also, someone can play Antagyth temporarily if they want.))

D’kin of Fazeth Fazeth knew that the beautiful black dragon was getting ready to fly. It didn't matter to him that these strange dragons were considered to be a something against the council. Fazeth even wondered maybe if he caught her he and his rider might learn somethings. Though, at the moment Fazeth was more worried with catching the ebony, as she was quite a beauty and very large, she suited his tastes nicely.
He quickly blooded his kill, knowing she was about to rise. He returned her trumpet and followed into the sky after her.
D'kin thought that the "weyr" here was interesting, and he also recognized these as people not following council orders, rebels in a way. He waited though, to see if anything different would come up, but at the moment the evidence was against the weyr, but that didn't mean that him and Fazeth couldn't enjoy their time here. He walked toward the beautiful girl that rode the ebony, yes, he could quite enjoy his time here.

Zuiveth streched lazily in the morning sun. The light glinted off a silver hide that marked the large dragon as one of the fast-maturing mutations. When Renth bugled, his head shot up. This was interesting. With powerful wingbeats, Zuiveth flew easily over to the Feeding Grounds.
E'dan felt his dragon get interested and ran to the Feeding Grounds. When he saw Maylina and the ebony, he could hardly suppress a wince. Was she still the jerky pain she had been before the Hatching?
Zuiveth had no such conflict. The ebony was rising and he would chase. Diving on a herdbeast, the silver dug his teeth into the throat and drank the blood greedily. He tossed the caracass away and took another. As Renth took to the sky, Zuiveth quickly followed and spoke to the ebony.
I will follow you to the end of Pern, Skyjewel.

Two bronzes, Ruxth and Antagyth, joined the Flight after the Silver, flying after the young Ebony dragoness.
Renth glanced behind her to see which males had risen to the chase. There were three bronzes and the Weyr's sole silver, Zuiveth. She gave a rumble of amusement when he spoke to her. She was pleased with his flattery, but not enough to favor him over the others. He would have to fly just as hard as the bronzes to prove himself! She beat her wings harder, determined to stay far ahead of the males. They could never catch her!
Maylina smiled seductively at the men as they gathered around her. She was at her best like this, in the spotlight. She didn't notice E'dan's distaste, and she flashed him a quick wink before focusing on D'kin. She didn't recognize him, and he seemed a bit old for her taste. Still, it was her dragon's choice.
When Renth grew tired of flying straight, she slowed a little before turning on a wingtip and speeding right into the midst of the males, scattering them. She clawed at any her got too close for comfort, snarling at Antagyth when he tried to ensnare her. When she was past the males, she flew upwards, twirling towards the clouds.

Fazeth flew well for the ebony. Yes, she would be a pretty catch, much better than those stuffy old golds in the High Council. He then said to the ebony, Oh black beauty of the sky, no gold could ever outshine your gorgeous dark hide.
Fazeth had to work hard to keep with her huge size, but he didn't mind. He liked how big she was. She was so gorgeous! He just couldn't get over the beauty of her glowing dark hide. It attracted him like nothing else had ever before.
When she suddenly flew into his midst, Fazeth had been surprised and had sort of scattered a second before following again. No gold had ever been as surprising in her flights as this ebony was. He snarled at the bronze who had almost caught her. He followed her toward the clouds. He wanted her so badly for she was so amzing and beautiful it was just to hard for him to describe.

Zuiveth mostly ignored the bronzes. He would win this flight and not those dull beasts who were smaller than he and the ebony. Zuiveth twisted away from her claws as she flew at the males, Renth was not yet ready to be caught and she would not encourage any attempts yet, most likely. His wingbeats were powerful but slow. Each beat pushed the air away steadily. Why rush just yet? Renth was big enough to have plenty of stamina left.
Zuiveth followed her upward, carving a neat, if not tight, turn and pushing his wings a bit harder. She was a jewel caught on the wind and those bronzes, who knew golds, would not have her. Not while he still had wings.
No dragon can compare, dark mistress of the air, but I will try to be a worthy mate for one such as you. Do you truly believe those bronzes who can think only of golden hide could ever make a fitting mate for such a shadow-born beauty as you?

Renth watched the males' reactions to her tricks, noting Fazeth's dazed response and Zuiveth's nimble movements away from her claws. She flew quickly, angling her wings as she rose higher into the air, instinct driving her to achieve height as well as distance. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she turned her head to look at the males.
Come on, impress me,[/color] she goaded them on. She wanted to see what kind of tricks they could come up with.

((Okay, it looks like no one is going to reply, so I'll just end this.I couldn't decide, so I rolled a dice to pick the winner.))
The Ebony dragoness continued to fly, beating her wings hard and striving for height. She wanted to fly high and make a good clutch, better than the Gold. One of the bronzes dropped out from exhaustion, but still she flew. After a while, though, she began to tire. Her wings ached, and her flight slowed.
Antagyth sped forward, trying to entangle her, but Renth hissed and scratched him across the face. Creeling in pain, the bronze let himself drop back to earth. That left two, the Silver and the unfamiliar Bronze. Both had flattered her, and they had both survived until the end of the Flight. But Zuiveth was young, and Fazeth had impressed her his more experience flight. She veered towards the Bronze, and Maylina swayed towards D'kin.
