Bamre just luaghed and said " Yeah I know what you mean." He looked at Emerald and said " Though I don't think that she will hide her clucth form me at least. Though I am betting it will take some looking to find it. Though you are right Diamond will problery help. So that way you and Automatath can have a firelizard to play with."

Amerna nodded. "I bet Automatath will like that. She'll probably even help look for the clutch." She smiled when Tirlynna told them about how fast her gold was growing. "Automatath is growing really fast, too. She's growing up faster than the canon colors, and I don't know why."

Tirlynna nodded. "Reinth did the same thing, except in one matter. She still hasn't risen to mate. I'm guessing that rainbows have accelerated physical maturity, but not sexual."
She paused. "Or Reinth is just one of those dragons who doesn't rise very often. There's always one. We'll have to see what happens with Automatath. But she's...quite normal...for a rainbow."

Bamre nodded his head in agreement and siad " Yeah plus becuase she matures much faster that means that you won't be a weyrling as long as the rest of the other." Bamre remember he had graduated earily to. Those his reason was more that Purth would never rise.

Amerna blushed slightly at the mention of risings. Even though her mother was a greenrider and Amerna understood what risings were all about, the subject made her uncomfortable. She wouldn't mind at all if Automatath turned out like Reinth and was a "late bloomer."
"Well, it's comforting to know that this is all perfectly normal. I don't want to rush things, though." Everything seemed to be going so fast. She wondered if she would have to move out of the Weyr and go back to the Council after she graduated.

Did that mean Reinth was fertile? That was a question only her mating could answer...and Tirlynna was still not sure how she felt about the matter.

Bamre nodded and siad " Yeah most of it is just going to be figureing it out as we go along becuase we really have no clue. Rainbows are quite new being that yours is only the second one to be born so far." Bamre hoped that there would soon be more though. The rainbows where quite beautiful.
