Bamre was standing next to one of the walls in the Weyr Bowl. Purth was with them becuase the white was helping him look after the three new baby firelizards. Bamre had Jasper clucthed in his arms becuase the little blood somtimes got of control. Quartz was on his shoulder though the little guy had his buried in Bamres shirt. Beyrl just sat on his head looking as regal as she possiabley could. The other 6 were ethier fly around near him or where purched on Purth. Bamre was smiling at the three new little ones. He was gald he had just happen to be walking on the beach a few days ago. Especially becuase of his discovery of the new blood flit.

Amerna and Automatath were walking through the weyrbowl. Automatath had so many questions, and Amerna was trying to teach her about the world and the things they saw in the weyrbowl. Suddenly, Automatath stopped in her tracks and let out a little baby bugle of surprise. ~Mine! Look at the mini dragons!~ she exclaimed. Without waiting for Amerna, she ran to get a closer look.
Those are fire lizards, Automatath. Flitts, Amerna said, following the rainbow. She smiled at Bamre. "Mind if Automatath looks at your flitts? She's curious."

Bamre shrugged and siad " Its fine. She can look at them all she wants." Diamond flew over and purched right on top of the rainbows head. Bamre smiled at the weyrling and said " By the way my name is Bamre." Purth introudced himself to the two and siad My name is Purth. It is a plesure to meet you both. He said this to both Amerna and Automatath. Though Jasper was not happy about the new pair just suddenly showing up. The blood began to hiss at the two. Bamre then said " Jasper calm down. They arnt going to hurt me." The blood stopped hissing tougth he eyed the two with suspion. Bamre then siad " Sorry about that Jasper is very very protective. Plus he is still a baby."

And then, in came...another rainbow. The full grown Reinth was still...not exactly large. As she backwinged to a landing, regarding her younger sister with interest, she warbled a greeting, Greetings, Automatath
There was a rider on her back. "Bamre, don't tell me you have more mouths for us to feed," Tirlynna teased, although truthfully it was the rainbow weyrling she was here to see and talk to.

Automatath trilled as the gold came and perched on her head, rolling her eyes up to try and get a better look. ~Hello, little gold!~ she said cheerfully. ~Mine, you should get one,~ she added to her rider.
Maybe when another flitt rises, I will, Amerna said. "Pleasure to meet you, Bamre. I'm Amerna, and this is Automatath." She didn't mind being nice to the Allride residents, unlike some of the other spies. Her duty was simply to relay information to the Council, and she didn't think she needed to be mean doing it. Of course, she didn't see betraying them to the Council as mean, because the Council was good for everyone.
Automatath didn't understand what her rider was thinking, so she ignored it, instead watching the hissing red flitt curiously. "What kind of flitt is that?" Amerna asked. She was curious, and also thought it might be something the Council wanted to know.
Before Bamre could answer, the adult Rainbow landed. Automatath stared at Reinth for a moment. She was so big and pretty! ~Hello, Reinth,~ she answered, just a tuch shyly.

Reinth lowered her head to regard the much smaller, much younger dragon. I don't bite she assured her.
A second gold appeared from between, and this one perched on Reinth's head. Tirlynna laughed. "Now they match. It's...Amerna, right?"
Automatath looked like she would be about the same size as Reinth, and she looked healthy. Not at all an unattractive dragon, either. Tirlynna knew a couple of people who thought Reinth was unattractive, who found the patchwork aesthetically unappealing. With a rider's bias, she could not agree.

Bamre smiled and siad " Yep I do." He then pointed to them and introduced them saying " The Aqua up on my head is Beryl. The Pink with his head in my shirt is Quartz. Then the one in my arms with a temper is a new type of flit called a Blood is named Jasper. By the looks of him he is basiclly a male Aqua." The little blood flit keep hissing at Amerna and Automatath. Though when he saw Tirylanna he stopped hissing and struggled out of Bamre's grip and flew over and landed on her shoulder. He then chirpped at Dawn and rubbed his head aginst her cheek. Bamre luaghed at this and siad " It is a good thing he likes you at least. He has been hissing at every other person that walks by me."

Automatath stared up at the angry Blood, debating whether or not to hiss back. She chortled at Reinth's reassurance. ~You don't, but it looks like he does!~ Amerna watched the Blood curiously. "I wonder where all of the new colors are coming from?"
She watched as the grumpy Blood landed on Tirlynna's shoulder, wondering why he liked her but not anybody else. It made her wonder what was going on between her and Bamre, not that it was any of her business.

Tirlynna laughed. "He only likes -me- because he thinks that will get him in good with -Dawn- when she's older." She glanced at Jasper. "I want one," she added, clearly amused.
Then to Amerna. "So...if there's anything you ever want to ask that might help you and Automatath, ask it. Please. And I don't know...except there's different ones in firelizards to what there are in dragons. The dragonhealers are stumped, and so are the beastcrafters."
She'd asked opinions from both groups.

Bamre luaghed and said " Yeah problery so. He is plenty big egough to chase a gold. Though I can tell you this if Jaspers personiallty is any indaction on the way blood's will act. Then no you don't want one. I have never seen a firelizard hiss at that many people for no reason. Though I think it is more over protectivness than it is meaniss." Bamre then turned and looked at Amerna and siad " Well my presonal opintion at least when it comes to the Aquas is so that there will be anthoer type of queen around so as to make there population higher maybe to help make up for lack of dragons. The bloods would just be the male equalivent of the Aqua. Though Japser will difently be bigger than Beyrl and problery about as big as Topaz. Though diffently alittle smaller. As for the Pink. Well they seem to be flirtous at least the frist one was. So maybe they act like greens and again it has to do with pouplation increase. I have been keeping up with the breeding records for firelizards in my spare time and know I wrote what I just said down somewhere at least I hope I did."

Amerna chuckled, amused that the Blood was already thinking about flying the young gold. "I want one too...not a Blood, I mean. Just any kind of fire lizard." She thought the flitts were cute, and it would also be useful for sending messages to the Council.
She nodded at Bamre's explanation. It sounded logical. She might bring his opinions up at a Council meeting. "It sounds like you should talk to the Beastcrafters yourself, Bamre."

Tirlynna smiled. "If you still don't have one when Dawn flies, I'll make sure you're invited to the hatching. Or even if you do, I want to make sure all of her babies go to good homes. It'll be a little while, though. Diamond will probably rise again first."
And there were, of course, plenty of greens, and there was nothing wrong with a firelizard from a green clutch unless you had your heart set on a higher color. "And, of course, there was an aqua in the same clutch as Dawn, but we don't know how fast they mature yet."

Bamre nodded and said " I think that I will do that. Though I want to get some more imformation before I do anything. I bileve that firelizard births should be kept up with like dragon births anyway. We will problery need them to help battle Thread when it comes back. That is until we get more dragons." Bamre hoped that they would not have to depend on the firelizards. Yet he would not mind there help ethier. He knew he would not be able to keep his fair out of the sky. Though Bamre looked at Tirlynna and siad " Actully I think Emerald will be rising before Diamond does again. She has not had her first flight yet."

Amerna smiled weakly at Bamre's assertion that Thread was coming back. The idea was ridiculous to her. Fortunately, she was well enough at hiding her emotions that none of those thoughts would appear in her expression. "Thank you, Tirlynna. I appreciate it." She smiled at the other Rainbow rider. ~I think I'd like a flitt friend, too,~ Automatath said, approving of the idea.

Tirlynna nodded. "Yeah, but some greens hide their clutches...of course, Diamond might be able to find them if she does that. It'll be a while before Dawn goes up."
The young queen was a good way from being sexually mature. "I swear, though, she's grown again. Quite significantly, in fact."
A good inch, maybe. "It must be the amount I feed her," she added, teasingly. "You know what I mean, right?"
