Has the plague finally left the North? Are there any Queens left to clutch? What about the new colors, have all the Silvers, Coppers, and Crimsons died out? And what about Pern's last remaining Ebonies? One has proven she can not clutch fertile eggs, while the largst Ebony Queen alive the first of her color has just laid her eggs. What will become of them? Will any hatch or will they be as barren as her daughter's? Time will tell, but hope still lives on. Candidates are being Searched from every corner of Pern, as Solace's Weyrsteward and Senior Weyrwoman Asha sends out the word that the eggs still grow.
Yukarneth has clutched! Perns largest Queen has laid her largest clutch, before she had only been able to lay less then ten eggs, now she has laid double that number along with a Golden egg! There is hope yet! Yukarneth and Asha have already decided to step down once the young Queen is old enough to rise and take leadership of Solace, along with the Dragon who catches her as Solace's new Weyrleader. Candidates are still needed, and the lovely golden egg yearns for the one for her. Will that be you? Come and join see if that is true, if not there are other colors and many other surprises that await ithe Western Continent of Solace Weyr!
The West has also shown that there are other creatures that live on the land besides Dragons, an exploration group has set out and has found what they believe is something vital to Solace. A Hold has yet to be created, so applications for Lord Holder/Lady are open as well as whoever gets chosen as the new Lord Holder/Lady will be granted the Honor of naming Solace's new Hold.
Dragons and Whers are still open for creation, for Dragons it is Blues and Greens. Sports can only be created through Clutches or by earning enough points to buy the slot of a Sportrider. For Whers the following colors are open for creation but are limited, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Brown, Blue, and Green. We have a Gold who may be rising soon and will need males for the chase. Leaving the way for the possibility of more colors appearing on Pern. Flitts are limited at best, if you wish for any color you must PM Admin Luna for approval of color. Or you can earn Marks to buy an egg and have the chance of getting whatever color that egg can hold as different eggs hold different chances as a specific color. Currently we have a Green in the air who will be laying a clutch open for those who wish to get one of her lovelies.
Yukarneth's clutch is due to hatch Saturday,November 15th. So hurry and bring in those Candidates, everyone has a 4 character slot opening. Come and join! Many surprises and events await at Solace Weyr.
