Lithe just giggled alittle and said " I know that. I am not getting involed with anyone ethier. Yet your still going to need time to think about it and that is why I said somthing now." Lithe was the type who thought ahead to make sure he had everything set up for the future.

Marakar nodded. "If I Impress green, like I expect, then...well...just remember a dragonrider's relationships aren't always his own."
Loyalty was impossible for any rider, especially one with a female dragon...unless the dragons fell in love as well. That seemed to have happened with Malaracyth and Kilith, but greens found loyalty to one mate far more rarely.

Lithe just shrugged and said " I flight is a flight. I would understand completely. I mean you can't have a realaship with a rider of a female dragon and expect that not to happen. Becuase it will. I am not the type to ever mind." He knew that all that mattered to him was that he was the person that the other loved and cared for.

"It happens to all dragonriders. It's part of the life." Marakar shrugged. It seemed to be considered both a perk and a bane.
He'd deal with it, whichever side he happened to end up on. He did wonder, with all of the new colors...but most of the new colors seemed to prefer women. There hadn't been another silver...yet.

Lithe nodded and siad " Yep. Just like so many other things." He reached up and picked up Tree and cuddled her in his arms. He loved the little green.

Marakar made a teasing 'aww' sound. "She's such a cutie."
Although he did wonder about the people who treated their firellizards like living toys. He supposed it didn't hurt them. He would try and teach his to carry messages, although of course if it was a green...greens, like as not, forgot what they were doing halfway.
And he wanted a green dragon.

Tree just chirped at Marakar when he compliented her. She then climbed off Lithe's head and into his shirt. She then peeked out the top in attempt to look even more cuter. Lithe just smiled and he began to scrath her eye ridges and siad " She sure is ins't she."

What did he want in his dragon? Somebody louder than him, somebody a little flighty, maybe. That was why he wanted a green...

Lithe luaghed and said " She is always like this. You don't even have to ask her and she will try to act cute. That has always been her nature. At least she trys to look cute for people anyway." He just smiled as he countied to pet the little firelizards head.

He was pretty sure Tree, as cute as she was, knew that fact clearly and was far, far from above using the fact. "She's hoping I have treats, aren't you, Tree."
She was out of luck on that front.

Lithe just smiled and siad " While she does do that lot. I don't think that is the case this time. I just fed her before I came in her. Though it seems like firelizards are bottomless pit's sometimes. So she is problery still begging." He just luaghed as the little green chirped in a begging way as though she was emphizing what her pet had said.

He regarded Leaf. "Oh, don't give me that. Your human feeds you plenty. Or you would never be so large for a green."
There was no way that firelizard was going to convince him she was underfed!

He then looked at Marakar and said " Want to walk with me to the kicthen to see if we can find this little begger somthing to eat." Tree chirped and rubbed her head aginst his chest and kept peeking out his shirt.

Marakar got up and stretched. "Sure."
He had to decide whether he wanted to pursue anything with Lithe. Or, for that matter, with And'l...but there was no hurry. He might Impress if Renth laid, and the younger gold was getting older. There would be more dragons soon enough. And the Weyr was getting over-run with firelizards...

Lithe just smiled at Marakar as he began to walk in the direction of the kicthens. He then looked at Marakar and asked him " What you thinking about?" He could not think of anything else to say so that seemed like the best question is his opintion. Sky and Tree were perched on ethier of Lithe's shoulders as he walked along.
