Renth was curled up around her clutch, her tail twined protectively around the golden egg. The Ebony was as content as Maylina had ever seen her, clearly proud of her clutch. However, she got very testy if anyone came near.
Fazeth wants to see the clutch,[/color] Renth grumbled to her rider, who was sitting in the stands, oiling her fire lizards. Maylina's trio were the only flitts allowed on the sands.
So let him. I sincerely doubt the clutch father is going to harm the eggs. And tell D'kin to come, if he wants, Maylina answered. D'kin was charming enough, and Maylina wanted to get to know him better.
Very well...Fazeth, come to the sands, and bring your rider![/color]

Fazeth was proud to be the father of the Renth's huge clutch, but at the moment he wasn't allowed on the sands. Finally acceptance came in the form of, Fazeth, came to the sands, and bring your rider!
Mine,we are finally accepted onto the sands!Fazeth told his.
D'kin was glad to hear that they were finally allowed to gaze upon Renth's clutch. He wouldn't mind seeing Maylina also, she was so beautiful.
D'kin mounted up onto the waiting Fazeth, who was trembling slightly in anticipation. Fazeth took off toward the sands. When He landed the first think he said, in both his rider's and Renth's mind was, Wow, the clutch is so big! He has heard the number, but he hadn't really appreciated it till he saw. Maybe the people were on the right track of mind...

Of course it's big![/color] Renth said smugly, pleased with Fazeth's surprise. And look, there's a gold egg too. We did well. Of course, it was mostly me...[/color]
Maylina chuckled. "So what do you think, D'kin? I think this proves that an Ebony is every inch as much a queen as a Gold."

D'kin smiled at the ebony rider and said, "I think Ebony is more queen than gold, for no gold in recent history has ever produced this many eggs. Renth is better than any gold could ever be.
Fazeth replied to Renth You are amazing, Renth. Fazeth was very happy to have been the father of this huge clutch with its golden queen, even if Renth had done most of the work... Fazeth was starting to think the theory about thread might be true, what with this huge clutch... He was glad that they hadn't told the High Council what they had found out about the thread theory.
