Anyone who mistook Geisteth for a brown...was not looking carefully enough.
Some might. The copper was brown colored, after all, and those who were not used to the new colors might, thus, make certain assumptions. These would cause the fact that the weyrling who walked next to the dragonet to the lake was definitely female to be a matter of some confusion.
Girls did not Impress brown. Generally, though, girls did not Impress blue, and that had happened. So, one might not assume, except that the young dragon radiated 'female'.
"You need to not grow as fast," the girl teased her feminine lifemate.
I need to grow faster so we can fly together, Geisteth countered, quite cheerfully.
"You're a lot of work. But yeah, I want to fly with you.."

Lithe was following his two firelizards chasing them down to the lake. On his way he spotted the girl sitting next to the brown. This made him curious though as he moved closer it was obvious to him that the dragon was not a brown, but was a copper. It was obvious to him becuase of the fact that the dragon had such feminine features. Sky and Tree quickly flew over and landed on the copper. Tree landed on her head while Sky landed on her back. Lithe walked over with a small smile on his face and said to her " Hello. How are you?"

When the two firelizards landed on Geisteth, the blue...no aqua...on the girl's shoulder lifted of and scolded them. That was *her* dragon-perch. There was, currently, no sign of Aphrodie's green.
She giggled a bit. "Hello...don't mind Ocean, as far as she's concerned, she's the one really in charge." Geisteth, of course, had a different opinion, being a dragon, not a mere firelizard.
"I'm Aphrodie, of Geisteth. Have we met?"
She wasn't sure. So many people around the Weyr, it was hard to keep track of everyone.
Geisteth, for her part, just sort of snorted at the firelizard antics.
