Bonjouth was a decently sized brown. J'tor was making especial note of that as he was just finishing giving the dragon his bath.
Of course, he was also a gorgeous color, well put together and...notably less afraid to fly since discovering the joys of greens. If they had to fight Thread, they could. J'tor was certain of that.
The fear was still there, but it was no longer disabling.
Greens. Would Bonjouth, soon, also notice golds and blacks? He was big, but not, perhaps, quite that big. He'd probably try, but maybe not succeed.
Then again. Reinth had clutched. One egg, but still a clutch. The rainbows would...well...even if they only produced small dragons. "More dragons, Bonjouth."
Good. We need more.
"And I think you are finally clean."

L'the walked down to the beach with Blumath following closly behind him. When he reached it Wave and Tree flew out quickly in fornt of him and went zooming towrad the brown dragon. They quickly found purches. Tree though purched on the brown's head. Blumath soon moved out ahead of L'the and soon found her way into the water. She looked over at Bonjouth and said Hello Bonjouth. How are you and yours doing. Mine should be along any second. You want to come play with me. Sure egough L'the came along behind he looked over at J'tor as a small blush appered on his face as he waved to the brown rider saying to him " Hello J'tor. How are you doing today?" He approced the other slowly with the small smile and blush on his face.

J'tor flickered a grin. "Not too bad. Your green is growing well." Blumath was a quite attractive young dragon, although J'tor rather hoped that Bonjouth would not agree with that too much. There were plenty of female dragons with female riders for the brown to chase.
I need to be oiled, Blumath, but once we're done. The full grown brown lowered his nose to the dragonet's level. Right now, she was still a playful baby...but she was also quite definitely a green. In a few months...
Bonjouth...
What?
Don't rob the Sands, okay.

Blumath nodded her head as she looked at the brown. She siad Don't worry Mine will help your's oil you. Then we can play togther. With that the green hurried back into the water where she was going to wait for the brown. L'the smiled at J'tor and siad " Thank that is sweet of you to say. She is doing quite well. How about Bonjouth how is he doing." He looked over at the brown as a slight blush came over his face as he thought about the fact that the brown would possiably chase his green some day.

J'tor laughed as his brown relayed what Blumath said. "Your green is volunteering your services, L'the."
The greenrider's name did not contract well. Riding had clearly not been in the future his parents had envisioned for him...and if they were holders, riding green, most certainly not.
J'tor glanced at the dragonet again. "She's a playful one, isn't she."

Lithe aslo let out a luagh and said " Yes I can see that. Though I don't mind really. I would love to help out." Blumath said to him Well then hurry Mine. I want to have Bonjouth come and play with me. Lithe luaghed Don't worry love. We will. We will. He turned back to J'tor and said "I guess we should get started." Behind them Blumath was splashing around in the water. She was even splashing some water onto Bonjouth trying to egg the older dragon and get him to come and play with her without getting oiled.

J'tor nodded. "Of course, you know how...fortunately, you don't have to oil a full grown dragon all over. Only where he's specifically itching."
Bonjouth had stopped growing, but his hide, of course, never would, and any place where he had exerted himself might be prone to cracks. "Usually, they get them around the haunches and the wingshoulders, sometimes along the tail."
He flickered Blumath a grin. "She's a touch on the smaller side, isn't she."

L'the smiled and siad " Really. Well that's convenaite. Though I really don't mind. I enjoying oiling Blumath. She know how to make it fun." What he ment by that was that he always ended up getting splashed and getting wet. He then looked at J'tor curiously and said " So you ready to get started." There was still a hint of a blush on L'the's face. Form the thoughts he had had eariler. He was still trying to push them out of his mind. He looked over at Blumath to answer the other's question and said " Yeah I guess so. Though there is nothing worng with that. We need every dragon we can get."

J'tor retrieved the oil. "I'll let you know where he needs doing." He found a second pot, handing it to L'the.
"And nothing at all. I'm told a Weyr can never, ever have too many greens. They're the best fighters...although some of the sapphires may give you a run for your money, they seem a tad smaller than blues."
Browns were workhorses. Greens were the aerobats, the ones who had to be without any fear.

L'the luaghed as he took the pot. Blushing at the completement form the brown rider. All the while trying to remind himself not to flirt with J'tor. He said " Yeah, but Blumath is small. Though I am sure not more agile than Purth and the rainbows, but still I think her energy will make up for that. Of course she does have a motherly side that one does not usally see in a green. You know more like a gold." Walked over next to Bonjouth to await for J'tor to tell him where to oil the brown.

J'tor hesitated for a moment, then, "Right wingshoulder." He moved himself past the brown's wings, examining his haunches for a moment.
"That's unusual, but it might be a positive. She might turn out to be a good Search dragon, if she's interested in young people as well as young dragons." Bonjouth had absolutely no Search sense, typical of a brown...it was, after all, generally the smaller dragons.

L'the nodded and went over and began to oil the spot J'tor had told him to. He looked over at the brown rider while he worked and siad " Yeah she seems to like younger things and stuff like that. So you are problery right on that one. I will just wait and see. I hope so though that way we could have somthing to do that would help out while Thread is not around."

J'tor nodded. "It's one of the things blues and greens have always been rather useful for."
Greens are more important.
J'tor gave his brown an arch look. "Flirt. Wait for her to grow up..." And ideally, chase a different green. So far, J'tor had avoided a sexual situation with another man. It was likely to change. He kept oiling Bonjouth and forced such thoughts out of his mind. For now.

L'the nodded saying "Yeah I guess that is ture." He overheard the brown riders comment to his dragon becuase J'tor had said it aloud. He then kept oiling the brown and said " So you like Blumath. Don't you Bonjouth." He giggled alittle as he began to blush. He was trying to not think about that, but at this moment he just could not help it. Blumath was still complaining Come on Bonjouth come play with me. Though she did not splash him so as not to ruin the work of the two riders.

J'tor laughed. "She's green. Dragons are shameless flirts, you'll learn that as yours grows up. Sooner or later, she'll realize boys are different."
And eventually, she'd lead said boys on a merry aerial chase, such was the way of things. But not for a good while yet. "'Course, don't you have a green firelizard somewhere around?"
His own green would fly eventually and produce a few eggs. He'd have to work out where best to bestow them.
