Getrara glared at Puroth. Puroth, this is your clutch brother, don't be selfish.
But mine, you know that you shouldn't have helped...
Then who would have?
That statement shut Puroth up and the two of them walked to Bamre and Purth's weyr. Getrara carried a peice of hide that she had written Purth's exercise schedule on.

Bamre sat in his weyr next to Purth. He was looking at the wound the white dragon at recently recieved. Though it looked to be doing well. Bamre was still worried, plus Getrara was supposed to be doing at check up today. Bamre had Iron posted outside his Weyr so that he would know when she was coming. Iron saw Getrara and sent his pet a image as he flew over and landed on the copper riders shoulder and chirped at her. Purth looked at Bamre and said to him Mine you worry to much, I promised you I would be fine and look. Everything has worked out just like I said it would. I promised I would never leave you and I don't plan to anytime soon. Bamre nodded his head softly, but that still didnt esae his worrying mind very much.

Puroth stayed at the door and sulked while Getrara went in to treat Purth.
Getrara smiled and said a quick, "Hello, I am going to quickly check Purth's wound and then I will go over the exercise schedule with you." Getrara then went over and checked out her patient, examining the wound for signs of rot or infection.
Seeing that the wound was fine she turned to Bamre, "I have your schedule for a week. After 7 days, I will come back and give you a new schedule. At the moment I would like you to continue having the flits feed Purth. Today I went Purth to 'stretch' the muscles around the wound, but not to strain them. Tomorrow, Purth may fly for half a minute. Every day he may increase his sustained flight time for a half minute more. If he ever feels a strain, I want you to immediately quit flying and find me. If the wound starts to stink or look funny, fin me. Here is your schedule written out. Any questions?"
Puroth answered hers with, Mine, I am hungry, can you hurry up, or is it not possible? You are hungry too. You really don't have to do this.
Getrara replied quietly to hers, Shush, let me finish here, then you can feed. I know it has been 4 days since your last meal...

Part of the reason Tierelm had been assigned to the Weyr was because of the White dragon's injury. It wasn't good to have only one Healer in a Weyr. He was a "people Healer," but he wanted to get some experience in Dragonhealing too. He decided to go to the White's weyr and see if there was anything he could do to help.
At the entrance, he knocked and cleared his throat to get the rider's attention. He shot a nervous glance at Puroth as he stepped inside. She seemed a little grumpy. "Hello? I don't mean to interrupt, but I'm the new Healer. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help."

Puroth glared at the man and said, Mine, tell that know it all that you have everything under control. You are the best. Getrara almost laughed, one minute Puroth was complaining and the next Puroth was getting all ruffled because someone might actually take over her positions. Getrara smiled very sweetly at the new healer and said, "Why hello sir. I am Journeyman healer Getrara and rider of copper Puroth. I am just giving Bamre his dragon exercise schedule. Maybe you feel you should look over it since you are sooo much more wise in the healing ways? I wouldn't want to hurt Purth more." Getrara said without ever sounding anything but sincere. The man probably thought that she was just an apprentice who had opted to go impress a dragon instead of becoming a healer since she had just turned 17. It was funny how when they needed someone your course suddenly got accelerated and you were walking the tables sooner than others... And even if she had been on a speed course, she had learned all that was required...

Bamre meantlly meorized everything she told him to do. As did the white dragon, though the fact she had given him a written schedule was helpful becuase anybody could forget things. Though when it came to Purth, Bamre never forgot a single detail. He nodded his head at Getrara's intrucstions and siad " Don't worry Purth will be well looked after. He does have 10 sets of eyes wacth him at all times." He laugh as he said this. Though was alerated by Iron to the apporch of another person. He looked curiously towards the entrance. He just shook his head, not becuase he disliked what it seemed like the other was doing. It's just that Getrara was doing such a good job that it did not seem neccerssy for another healer to come check on Purth. Though Purth himself had a differnt view of it he said to the new healer You may look at the wound if you want, but it is really not neccessy becuase Puroth's already took care of everything. If you are simply trying to help then that is ok, but you better not be trying to second guess Getrara. The white was expressing his opintion. He did not mind the other looking at his wound if he simply wanted to help. Though if he planned on second guessing Getrara, then the white would have Bamre's fair run the man out of the weyr fairly quickly. He riased his wing which he had had hidden over of the wound. Though he did fell that he needed to add to Getrara Getrara, be nice. He may simply be trying to help like he said, but if he is not and he tries to correct you. He won't be in Mine's weyr for long. It seemed with those words all of Bamre's flit's turned and looked toward Tierelm, as though waiting for Purth's intrutstions.

Tierelm caught Puroth's glare and shivered. She looked like she wanted to eat him! At Getrara's comment, he blinked in confusion. He wasn't good at picking up sarcasm. "You must be mistaken. Perhaps I presumed too much. I don't know anything about dragonhealing, which is why I'm here. I want to learn," he said a bit primly. He didn't understand why the Copperrider seemed so annoyed with him.
He jumped at the sound of a disembodied voice, then realized it was the White. Tierelm had heard that Purth was talkative, apparently that was true.
