Lesson one: Cutting meat and bathing dragons
D’tini and Fortuth stood by the lake. The gangling blue rider was pacing up and down nervously while Fortuth was stretched out lazily, his eyes whirling slowly in shades of blue, turquoise, and green. Should I call them now? You seem to be prepared. The blue enquired curiously and indicated the stuff his rider had brought along here for the lesson with his muzzle.
D’tini blinked and shook his head to clear it. Oh yes. Yes call them. He replied and went back to his pacing. At least the first class he took was going to be the newest weyrlings who’d never had a lesson before. HYe still didn't know how he was going to deal with young bronzers who thought they could pull rank on him and other things like that.
Weyrlings of Haith’s clutch, report to the lake for your first lesson. Fortuth called out to the weyrlings, loud enough to wake the soundest sleeping dragon.

T'noi and Teal'cth Teal'cth had indeed been sleeping sounding, but woke with a start at the blue's call, flaring his wings in annoyance. T'noi was curled beside his brown dragonet, but was knocked by Teal'cth's wing and was unbalanced by it. Teal'cth!! He called out in bemusement and surprise as he toppled from the stone couch. Teal'cth merely snaked his head over the edge of the couch to look at T'noi, who had fallen in a heap on the floor. Sorry mine, but the weyrling master's dragon has called us to the lake for our first lesson.T'noi stood up and dusted himself off, his mind reeling at Teal'cth's little comment. A lesson? But it was barely dawn and he was tired, surely they had got the timing wrong. However he nodded and collected a tunic and trousers from his chest and quickly got dressed. Teal'cth jumped down from the couch, keeping his wings against his back as he did so. He instinctly knew it was too soon for him to be trying to fly, or even glide. T'noi ran his hands through his hair as the pair made their way to the lake, where he saw he was the first to arrive. He stopped a few feet away, wondering what might be in store for this first lesson. Lysita and Kellerth Lysita and Kellerth had been sleeping in the same positions, however Kellerth had a wing laying over Lysita to help her stay warm. Kellerth blinked her eyes open, slight annoyance colouring at the edges even as she lightly nudged Lysita and lifted her wing away. Mine, we are to report to the lake for a lesson. Lysita groaned and rolled over, nearly falling off the couch however she managed to regain her balance. She let her legs swing down, nearly pulling tem back up as her feet touched the cold floor. She went to her chest and picked out a blouse and flowing skirt, there was no need to wear trousers at this point in training. Then the pair made their way out of the barracks and down to the lake. When they arrived, Kellerth's stomach let out a loud rumble to announce how hungry she was. The light coloured gold croon a soft greeting to the brown dragonet then looked up at the blue. The blue may be bigger then her now, but she'd soon be towering over him. Greetings to you and yours Fortuth.
