Take off of Anne's Rules
1. The Weyrs and Holds in Anne's books are off limits. Your persona may be born there, but cannot live there. Nor may posts be set there. Plots may originate from, but not actually take place in, those specified locations.
2. Use of the names of any characters in the books are strictly off limits. Variations close to these names are also off limits (e.g. Ramoth -- Romoth). Don't worry. We don't know *every single* dragon name used in the books. Just try not to do anything too blatantly in violation of this rule. And before you ask, NO, your personas cannot be descendants of any of Anne's characters.
3. All dragons live in the Weyr
4. All dragons' names end in 'th' and all male riders' names must be elided. (ex: R'ek, not Raslek). Any exceptions to rider-name rules will be approved only via the BoD's collective decision. Likely any deviations will result in a refused persona sheet (though there have been exceptions).
5. The only colors allowed are the standard five; Gold, Bronze, Brown, Blue and Green. The clutch at the moment is going to have some mutations happening though.
6. No dragon has one eye color. Dragons' eyes are constantly changing.
7. Gold impresses to Heterosexual females only and Bronze impresses to Heterosexual males only. Brown may impress to any type of male though a Homosexual Brown is very rare. Blue impresses to all males and the rare Bisexual or Homosexual female. Green impresses to all females and Homosexual males and the rare bisexual male. (This is only if you are entering a dragonrider transfer, if you Impress at this weyr, all rules are suspended cause some funky stuff is about to happen to dragons)
MY RULES!
1. Be kind to other players or you will be kicked out.
2. You must post at least 2 threads a month (though I am not very strict and won't enforce this rule harshly... )
3. We follow all Pern books though their events havebeen forgotten because it has been such a long time.
4. Ages 13 and up may post (I don't want angry parents)
5.. Mainly have fun!
