The oddest sight might be found in a deeper part of the lower caverns. In the stores, to be precise.
Why the heck was Allride's Weyrleader, who's duties were, of course, entirely the management of the Weyr's fighting wings, hauling an item of furniture out of the stores? Surely, he could have gotten a drudge or a candidate to perform this task for him?
Not being a small man, he was not finding it hard to move said item, being a writing desk, on his own, but it was still just not something anyone who stumbled on it would fail to notice. Especially as his firelizard kept trying to help...which made the scene even more ridiculous.
Of course, it was also not entirely unknown for C'lyn to have a problem and not want to bother anyone with it...
