Reinth was in an odd mood. Not, fortunately, the proddy kind of odd mood. The rainbow was nowhere near as...amorous...as a green.
She had insisted on stretching her wings and was now insisting on bathing in the ocean. Now, she was settled in the shallows, Tirlynna standing on the shore watching her dragon.
Her gold firelizard, Dawn, was also getting herself pretty clean...an adult flit was quite capable of taking care of its own bathing and even its own oiling. She still did that for hers, though. They were special, after all.
She realized Dawn would probably rise at some point. Maybe she could give the eggs to the Candidates. Good practice and preparation for a dragon. Nah, Dawn would probably 'insist' on an open Hatching. She was quite the little queen, although not as much as her dam. Diamond was senior among the Weyr's firelizard queens, and didn't let anyone forget it!
It was, of course, the perfect day for sunning on the beach and it was the rainbowrider's day off. She did not have to go back until night, and she didn't plan on doing so!

A shadow drifted over the beach a ways before Tombath made his usual inelegant descent, throwing sand everywhere in the process of landing on the beach. Uu’ian was just thankful that the bronze had thought to land some distance away from Reinth and her rider, and that his landings were no longer clumsy enough to send Uu’ian flying over his shoulder, as had happened once or twice in the past. It was clear that even fully grown Tombath was never going to be the most graceful of dragons.
As soon as Uu’ian was down the bronze bounded for the water at his top speed, which was a totally ridiculous lumbering gait but really no worse than any other dragon running along the ground. It just wasn’t really what they were made for. Uu’ian followed along, kicking off his sandals as he went. He’d made Tombath fly straight so he wouldn’t be encumbered with tons of flying gear so he was able to wade right in after his beast and start scrubbing the bronze down with handfuls of sand. His firelizard started work on the dragon’s muzzle and scolded Uu’ian when ever he felt the need, which was near constantly.
Tombath sighed as stood with his inner eyelids half closed, he was being cleaned, all was well. Hello Reinth. He greeted the rainbow cheerfully. I don’t think my Uu’ian has noticed you and yours yet; all he can see is my side. Maybe you could pretend he said hello? I’m sure he would if he could see you. The bronze nattered on quite happily, without a pause for Reinth’s opinion until he reached the end of what he had to say.

Hexeth had finally convinced And'l that it would be best to come out of hiding for a bit. This was a unusual thing for the blue, but he knew something that And'l did not know at that moment. It was the location of a certain bronzerider, or actually not just any bronzerider, but his bronzerider. And'l climbed up onto Hexeth and asked the blue "Where are we going that is such a surprise. You are not telling me anything." The blue let out a rumble of laughter and said Don't worry about that, but I am sure you will find the place to be quite nostalgic. And'l's eye's grew puzzled at this. The blue let out another rumble of laughter and then took to the sky's.
The pair only a minute later arrived above the beach and below them was a fimiler bronze pair, but Hexeth also noted that Renith and her bonded where here also. So the blue sent a quick invitation to Purth, so the white could bring Bamre along and they could all make a party out of it. And'l also noticed the bronze pair and a big girn spread across the normally stoic face. He said softly to Hexeth "Set us down quitely, I want to supirse him." The blue did just that as he curved down into a landing, and set himself down on the sand with quite abit more grace than Tombath had done. And'l slipped off his dragon then took his shoes off, and was gald he was wearing somthing he did not mind getting wet. He quitely walked to where Uu'ian was and quickly came up behind the other male and wrapped his arm's around Uu'ian's wasit and wishpered in his ear "Guess who." A small giggle issued forth form his lips.
Hexeth followed only after And'l had trapped Uu'ian in his arms. The blue wading out into the water. He did not need a bath, becuase And'l had bathed him earlier, but he did not mind helping with Tombath's bath. He splashed alittle water on the bronze and said to him Hello Tombath, are you and yours having fun again today. I know that Mine is. He let out a rumble of laugther as he looked at And'l. Then he turned in the direction of where Tirlynna and Reinth where. He siad to the rainbow Reinth why don't you and yours come join us over here. Purth and his will be here soon, Mine says we can make a "double date" out of it. Whatever that means.
OCC:Bamre will come in on my next post.

Tirlynna waved at the sudden...well...company. Lots of company. A bronze and a blue and their riders.
You should just remind him. Riders can be dense sometimes.
Fortunately, Tirlynna did not hear that. She did, though wave...oh, that was And'l and Hexeth. And Uu'ian...an unusual bronzerider who liked his own gender. Weren't they dating? She started to head along the beach towards them, Reinth sort of tagging along in the shallows. Despite the rainbow's small size, this set up quite the splashing...small by dragon standards was still large by the standards of anything *else*.
"Bamre's coming?" That was good...
I don't know quite what that means either. Reinth admitted to the blue.
Tirlynna was in fact glad to have company. Sometimes it felt as if the beach was a long way from the Weyr once one was there, even if it was really not that many wingbeats even for the smallest of the dragons. The fact that that company was people she considered friends was a good thing. She was, though, glad Reinth was not proddy, or she'd distract everyone by flirting with the males.
Who would rise next? she wondered. Well, other than the greens, coppers and sapphires. They mattered only to their riders and their mates, not so much to the Weyr. But with four queens now, the mating flights would undoubtedly slow down a little.

Tombath flicked his tail, inadvertently showering Uu’ian and Steadfast. Perhaps. Tombath commented neutrally, he would like to think his rider wasn’t dense but Uu’ian had failed to notice Reinth, who was quite distinctive. The bronze had just made up his mind to drop a not so subtle hint when another familiar pair appeared. Tombath decided to keep quiet instead.
Uu’ian ignored his impromptu shower with the air of one who has been showered in just such a manner many times before and continued scrubbing while Steadfast shrieked and landed on Tombath’s muzzle to scold him in furious chatters. Then someone wrapped around Uu’ian from behind and whispered in his ear. And’l of course. Uu’ian tipped his head to one side as if considering. ‘Hrrrm, well I’m guessing it’s not a sea serpent. No? Must be And’l then.’ Uu’ian wriggled around to face And’l. ‘Yep looks like I was right.’ A glance at a hitherto untoticed dragon and rider making their way up the beach made Uu’ian frown. ‘Tombath, you never told me there was anyone else here you dimglow.’
Tombath contrived to look inscrutable. I didn’t think you needed me to point other dragons out.

And'l laughed softly at Uu'ian's remark. His 'guess who' stunt had been a major fall, simply because the bluerider was practically the only rider at the weyr who would just suddenly wrap his arm's about Uu'ian in a embrace. Which was a tribute in the bluerider's mind, both to how far he himself had come in the fact that he was so affectionate towards another that he would just pull that person into his arms anytime they where together. Plus it paid homage to Uu'ian's loyalty. And'l knew that he would only have to worry about his weyrmate being in some else's arms during a flight. Yet that did not matter, because those did not count. His brother had the same problem because Purth could not chase Reinth. Yet he knew that Tirlynna would never cheat on his brother. Just like he knew that Uu'ian would not cheat on him and flights did not count as cheating. Though he could not see Hexeth chasing any greens. The blue was just to shy. Yet he wondered if that would change once a green once in the sky. He doubted it, simply because the blue knew how shy his rider was and would not like waking up next to anyone, but Uu'ian and the blue would probably be to shy to chase. And'l then got the silly thought that what if Hexeth and Tombath could be like him and Uu'ian. This thought actually made him laugh out loud, though it was a soft laugh. He could see anyone who did not know the full story of why Hexeth and Tombath where curled up together all the time would think that the two where turning gay. Again the silliness of such a thing made him laugh.
Once Uu'ian had turned around in his arm's he smiled at the other and said "Yep your right. It's me. So love, how are you doing today." He leaned up and gave the other a soft kiss to the lips and rested his head on Uu'ian's chest. And'l's reason for being so affectionate towards Uu'ian despite the fact there was another person there, was simply because of who the person was. Tirlynna, like his brother and Uu'ian was one of the small group of people And'l's real personality came to light around. Yet he knew the rules to. So he limited it to a light kiss and holding Uu'ian close. He saw nothing wrong with either, and he hoped it would not bother the rainbow rider. Besides he had the feeling she would be doing something similar in a minute anyway. His brother was in a mood recently, because he was finally released form bed and could do what he wanted now. Plus Purth was fully healed and only small scars where left. His head rest against Uu'ian chest, but it faced in the rainbow riders direction and he waved at her and said "Hey Tirlynna. You and Reinth having a good day today."
Hexeth was close behind, as was Leaf who veered off form the embracing pair and flew over to the rainbow rider to perch on her shoulder instead. The green knew her pet was in good hands. The blue looked his clucthbrother and asked him So Tombath. I see everything is going well for you and your rider today. Mine seems to be doing good today. As he usually does when yours is around, especially now that they are weyrmates. The blue had only began to refer to the pair in that way because they had recently moved into the same weyr together. Before hand 'lifemates' or simply 'mates' had been his favorite terms of choice. Yet the blue saved the term weyrmate's until it was official. At least in his mind it was. Even if the two had been together almost throughout weyrlinghood. He then commented to the bronze so that he would not worry Brother you do not have to worry about hiding me now since it is just me, you, Reinth, and soon to be Purth and our bonded. Yet later I might need you too. The same shyness rules applied Hexeth that did to his rider. Yet in his case, he was shy around any other dragon and there riders, or anyone for that matter. Expect for the small group that would soon be gathered on the beach. Oh and Lithe and Blumath. Those two where not scary either.
Purth nudged Bamre on the shoulder and soon the white rider was awake. Looking up at his dragon curiously, Purth told him Mine, Hexeth has invited you to come join him and his at the beach. It seems that your clucthbrother thinks it will be fun if you and your weyrmate would 'double date' with him and his. Reinth and hers are already there and they are waiting on you. Bamre facepalmed, and said with a annoyed voice as he stood up and quickly got dressed "Purth why did you not tell me sooner." The white who was following said to his rider I believe that your clucthbrother came up with this idea, just moments after him and Hexeth arrived at the beach, so don't worry, there is no way you could have known any sooner. The white would have never let his rider be late to such a important event. The white had a habit of never being late for anything. As did his rider, because they were simply a punctual pair. Only a good reason could make them be late, and it usually had to be something pretty bad. The white rider quickly hoped on his dragon and with a soft wave of his hand and a simple picture the horde of flit's that decorated his weyr disappeared and soon the white dragon himself was flying in the sky towards the beach.
Above the beach a horde of flit's appeared in the sky above the beach, and ten minutes later a white dragon came flying down form the sky as well. Bamre had purposely had Purth fly there so that he could enjoy the sky that he had missed during his time that he had been grounded. As the pair came above the beach a idea popped into Bamre's head. Purth said to his rider, as he could feel that feeling of 'I have a great idea' sinking into his riders brain. The same feeling that ended them up 1000 turns in the past. Yet this time the idea was nothing that extreme. Mine what are you planning The white rider luaghed alittle and assured the dragon Don't worry, it is just somthing I don't think Tirlynna will exptect. The white warbled in confusion and Bamre pointed at the ground and said "Just set us down there behind her and Reinth and I will show you. I promise it is nothing bad." The white let out the dragon version of a sigh and said Ok Mine. Whatever you say. Purth had become quite curious what his rider was about to do.
The pair set down on the beach and Bamre quickly spotted his fair had ended up. Emerald, Shappire and Ruby purched on Reinth. The rest where purched on Hexeth and Tombath, or flying around them. Diamond had found her a spot purched right on top of the bronze dragons head, becuase if she purched on any shoulders then she would be spoiling the moments that those her pet cared about most where having. Esicpally the one bettewen And'l and Uu'ian. It would be hard to hold someone, with a gold flit as big as Diamond on there shoulders. Bamre quickly slid off his dragon and moved quickly up to where Tirlynna was, becuase he wanted to move quickly and suddenly. Hoping his plan would work and that Tirlynna would like it. He walked toward her and said "Hey Tirlynna...." About the time he had said these words he had stepped up behind her and using the strength he had built up form years of extra exersie, he basically swept her off her feet and it his arms as he carried her down the beach and fisinshed his sentance "..how are you doing today beautfiul." Bamre was acting romantic as he could and hoped that his gamble had worked and Tirlynna was enjoying it. His brother had intended this to be a 'double date' after all. So alittle romance was required. He just hoped he did not go to far. It was obvious the look he was getting form his brother that the other had wished he had though of it. Though the fact that Uu'ian was bigger than And'l, which was evendent becuase And'l's head was resting on the other male's chest. Doing such a thing would not have worked out to well. He called out to And'l as he got closer "Now what is this I hear, somthing about a double date?"
OOC:Renie I am hoping Bamre sweeping Tirlynna off her feet was ok. If not then I will edit. I was hoping it would be somthing new for Bamre to do, and would be fun.
OOC 2:I am also assuming that And'l and Uu'ian have graduted. Right? It seems to have been long egough.
OOC 3:Sorry it is alittle long.

As Bamre's firelizards perched on Reinth, Dawn and Clay decided that Purth's back was a great spot, flitting down to land on the white. Tirlynna laughed as Bamre picked her up.
"Hey handsome!" she teased at the white rider, then noted. "Our dragons are festooned." Of course, she only had the two firelizards, next to the white riders huge fair. Of course, the legendary Ruth had supposedly attracted firelizards too.
With four dragons in the water now, even if two of them were competing for 'smallest dragon at Allride' there was likely to be a lot of splashing. "And I'm fine. Watch out for Reinth, though. She's in an odd mood, and she might decide we need bathing too!
Tombath, it seemed, was already of that opinion where And'l and Uu'ian were concerned!
A small fair of wild firelizards were now also flitting around, although none seemed to want to get *too* close...probably the presence of not one, but two queens was a little intimidating. Tirlynna saw no wild golds, but did see a couple of bronzes. Those finally did come close, flying a loop that took them close to both Diamond and Dawn, but they clearly weren't entirely sure which queen to flirt with.
"Okay, we're heading towards attracting every flit on Pern. Gotta be Purth's fault."
Although Reinth liked firelizards, she didn't seem to have that magic attraction for them.

Uu’ian’s mouth curved up into a sly smile. ‘Do I sense you’re a little disappointed at not being able to fool me?’ He asked, catching his weyrmate’s expression just before And’l leaned up and kissed him. ‘Or maybe not all that disappointed.’ He amended, blushing slightly; bold as Uu’ian was in conversation he was still embarrassed by public displays of affection. ‘When are you going to learn that I’m not hoping for some goldrider to come and take me away from all this? I like all this!’ Uu’ian gave And’l a slight push but pulled him close again in the next instant, there was little doubt that And’l was one of the things Uu’ian liked best about his current situation. The bronzerider gave a moment’s thought to the likelihood of Tombath chasing someday, it was a likely situation with four golds as well as Renth, the female rainbows, and a multitude of maturing coppers, sapphires, and greens. They’d just have to deal with either of they’re dragons chasing when they came to it.
A laugh from And’l suddenly distracted Uu’ian. ‘Something amusing?’ He inquired curiously. Uu’ian rarely missed an opportunity to be entertained. However before an answer had time to emerge Uu’ian was distracted again. The horde of bright firelizards that were descending on the beach meant that Bamre was arriving. There was no other thing that the arrival of so many familiar firelizards could mean, except perhaps that half the Weyr was about to drop by. Uu’ian watched as firelizards settled on the dragons, amused by Diamond’s choice of perch.
Oh sorrow! Oh calamity! Whatever shall I do with myself now? Tombath reared dramatically back and flared his wings in an imitation of a player’s gestures. He’d always been quite an eccentric dragon, as evidenced by his choice of rider, and this flamboyant display was just his style.
Uu’ian’s well founded assumption was confirmed when Purth landed a ways along the beach. He looked fairly amused by Bamre and Tirlynna without realising that he and And’l were frequently just as silly in displaying their affection. He did have to agree with Tirlynna’s comment about the firelizards. They were pretty much everywhere, and it had to be Purth’s fault, flitters loved the white dragon.

And'l smiled softly as the thought accrued to him. The fact that it was harder for him to fool Uu'ian meant that the bronzerider was starting to figure him out. Even if Uu'ian never wanted to admit it, he knew that the other could pick up on things about him, that no one but Hexeth and Leaf would have been able to pick up on. And'l's head stayed on it's usual resting spot, on the taller riders chest. Though he did lift it up to look at Uu'ian with what could be called a affectionate smirk. "Your right about that. It is getting harder and harder to fool you. Maybe your starting to figure me out. Though you never want to admit it." The small laugh that came with his words showed that And'l was playing, and that his words where compliments.
A curious look came to And'l's eyes as Uu'ian talked about a goldrider coming to steal him away, plus the fact that Uu'ian pushed him away. Yet this look faded and was replaced with his usual soft smile the instantly he was pulled back into the other male's embrace. Though the look in And'l's eyes as he looked at Uu'ian told the whole story, they were filled with the trust that had allowed him to have that special moment they had had the night of the last gather. He knew that Uu'ian would never leave him for any goldrider, he knew he would always have the other as his weyrmate. Though his other comfort on this fact, though it was not his main one, but he still thought about it and it made him fill more secure. He knew all the goldriders and he did not think anyone would try to steal Uu'ian form him. Steadfast and Tombath would probably chase them off anyway if they tried. Looking at Uu'ian he said affectionately "I know that Uu'ian, I trust you. I don't worry about anyone stealing you away." His words were said affectionately as he nuzzled his head into Uu'ian's chest. He was hoping to emphasized his trust of the other male. If Uu'ian did not understand it already, which he highly doubted.
When the funny thought had come to his mind, and Uu'ian asked about it. He knew that Uu'ian would enjoy his thought. He said "I was just thinking about what someone who did not the full story between Tombath and Hexeth. I wonder what thought would come to there mind. I mean they are the only two male dragons I know who are curled up together all the time. Plus the fact that nethier have been seen curled up with any females that I know of. They might be turning out like us, for all we know." He knew that Uu'ian would find this observation amusing. The bronzerider always seem to enjoy those types of jokes. And'l said his observation loud enough for Bamre and Tirlynna to her, to let them join in the joke also. Hexeth though found it to be alittle silly and he said to the embraced pair Mine that is silly. Tombath is not my weyrmate. He is just protecting me. Right Tombath. The last sentence was aimed at the bronze. And'l just giggled at this. He looked over at his brother and Tirlynna with a soft smile. What he said though was directed toward the white dragon. "Purth you really know how to draw a crowd every time you go anywhere. Don't you."
Bamre sat Tirlynna down on her feet softly once they where close to the embracing pair. He heard the witty observation that had come form his younger brother and a grin appeared across his face. He had noticed it also, though when it came form And'l, since he was Hexeth's rider after all, then it only sounded funnier. He also began to notice the flits that where coming around, and he saw that some of the braver wild flits even landed on Purth. Topaz flitted over to Tombath, and landed near the gold, which made a small flit pile on the bronzes head. It was obvious that the bronze was had come over to ward off any of the wild bronzes form his weyrmate. He may not have caught Diamond on her first flight, but he had not really been born when that flight happened. Yet since he was born, his size made him a obvious match for the very large queen.
The white dragon looked around at the wild flit and said to the ones who seemed to be alittle scared to come over. Come on over little ones. None of our bonded will hurt you. You can come and land on me if it helps you fell better. Purth included the humans in his statement so they would know the reason that any extra flits came over. Though Purth seemed to have asked for it, because the instant he said this, all flits that had been staying away. Six wild flits came and landed on the white, which added to the three flits form Bamre's fair. Bring the total of flits on Purth to nine. Bamre watched the scene for a moment before the rainbow's riders statement gave him another idea. He wanted them to have fun and he knew how to start it off. He said to Purth Hey Purth asked Renith if she would like to start the splashing. The white let out a rumble of laughter, though the white added a few words to this request. Hey Renith you want to start off the splashing. All the little one's like the idea. The white was trying to get the rainbow and all the flits in on a surprise splash attack against everyone else. The surprise would come when Bamre found out that the flits where in on it too.

Tirlynna laughed. "I've never known a male dragon to fly, although I suppose it could happen."
Unlike humans, it did seem that all dragons were heterosexual. Except for Purth, who was Purth...something she sometimes regretted. It was...unfair on Bamre that he could not win Reinth's flights, and that she had to bring somebody else in on things.
She was, again, glad that Reinth did not fly that often. Of course...Dawn should go up soon. She glanced at the gold, studying the color of her hide for a moment. No, not proddy quite yet...but it would not be long, if the rainbowrider was any judge.
You go for mine and I'll get yours? Reinth sent cheerfully, mischievously to Purth. The rainbow was sure she could get Diamond and Clay to join too...if she couldn't, Purth could.
And her rider had been a bit boring lately, a little bit too inclined towards duty and responsibility and other such...gold...traits. It might be fun to act like a silly green for a while!
Clay, though, swooped to land on...Hexeth, as Purth was mostly occupied. He seemed, for some reason, to be mildly avoiding Reinth.
"So, maybe we can get all of these assorted examples of dragonkind clean?" There were no rainbow firelizards. Tirlynna had wondered about that before.
She remembered when Reinth had been unique. Now, she was not. Still relatively rare, but not unique...and her own son would some day join the wings.
Reinth had hinted that Tirlynna and Bamre needed a 'hatchling', but humans did not work like dragons...there was no so-obvious heat cycle to go by. It was not that easy to get pregnant, and she was not sure it was even a responsible thing for a fighting rider to do.
"And I think I see even more firelizards approaching. Purth, you should make them help."
That, of course, would be...if she only knew it...the perfect cue for the dragons to commence their evil plot...they were, it seemed, feeling like mischievous hatchlings today!
Reinth as a hatchling had been so...well...cute.

Uu’ian shook his head. Why was it that And’l was so focused on having Uu’ian understand him, the bronzerider was quite content to go around not understanding his weyrmate, and even his dragon. Certainly choosing him was a large flaw in both their judgement but Uu’ian was totally prepared to live with that one.
Sensing Uu’ian’s thought on some level, and also totally outnumbered by Bamre’s firelizards, Steadfast fluttered over to perch on Uu’ian’s shoulder and smacked his bonded with a wing. Stupid fussy hispet, couldn’t he tell that Steadfast and Tombath and Leaf’s humanpet all loved him because of who he was? Also Diamond and Topaz were sat on his dragon, and they weren’t even helping to wash him. Shocking behaviour, absolutely shocking! Hispet should really do something about them.
Uu’ian prodded Steadfast, being slapped around the head by firelizard wings hurt. however he all but forgot the brown in the next instant. What a strange suggestion, Uu’ian didn’t think dragons could be anything but heterosexual, certainly Tombath never showed anything more than brotherly affection for his blue clutchbrother. But maybe an outsider would think that way seeing the dragons curled up together as they so often were. Especially if they knew the riders were weyrmates.
Tombath rumbled and wriggled, what a silly idea! Right. Just because our riders are mate doesn’t mean we have to be, or want to be. Tombath paused and looked at Hexeth, abruptly he sidled closer to the blue. Though if you were the first blue to Fly I would have to chase you, if only so I could hide you when you were done. He joked, of course blues did not Fly so there was no obligation for Tombath to follow up on his teasing words. Two males, or two females, as mates was an entirely human concept. Now, to serious business. Why is no one washing me? Steadfast dutifully returned to scrubbing at the bronze hide but there was no further response.

And'l laughed at the thoughts that his little joke had stirred up. Though on some level And'l wished that it was actually the truth instead of a joke. He would rather not spend a night with anyone, but his weyrmate. Even if flights meant nothing, And'l's shyness still caused the idea to bother him. Though maybe he would get lucky and Hexeth would not chase. The blue was just as shy as rider, even to the other dragons. With Tombath being the exception of course. Yet if he did chase And'l hoped the blue would not catch. He knew that it may seem alittle wrong for a rider to not want there dragon to win, but And'l was just scared and Uu'ian was the only person he was comfortable when it came to such things. The bronzerider had earned his trust, love and affection all throughout weyrlinghood.
The blue dragons thought seemed to alway follow that of his rider in the fact about flights, he was very protective of his shy rider. The blue had not chased simply because And'l only wanted to be with the bronzerider, and Hexeth wanted to protect And'l form something his rider was scared of. Though in a way, the blue's own shyness had a big part to play. Hexeth watched the embracing pair and without saying anything nuzzled them both softly. Though Hexeth was not a fool, he knew that it was inevitable. So Hexeth had given the subject some thought and he knew that there was only one female he could chase and the whole outcome end up better off for his rider. It was Renith. He looked at the rainbow for a moment. He figured that sinice Tirlynna was Bamre's weyrmate, then that might make it esaier on his rider, simply becuase she was somebody And'l knew really well, and she was one of the few that Hexeth trusted with his rider. He had always been very protective. Plus Renith was a dragon the blue knew really well and he felt that would alveaite his own shyness. He would have to talk to the rainbow about it, but he did not want And'l to know at least not yet. This would be the one time he planned on hiding somthing improtant form And'l. Simply not wanting to make his rider feel guilty.
Hexeth looked at the white dragon when he was informed of the little surpise attack on there riders. The blue was though as he could somtimes be, a spoil sport. His wing draped protectivly over Uu'ian and And'l. Though he said to Purth Don't tell Tombath. I want him to be supirsed. The blue let out a soft rumble of laugther. Just becuase he was protecting And'l did not mean he wanted to spoil all the fun. And'l looked up at Hexeth and wondered what was up. What is wrong Hexeth. You don't need to hide me here. The blue answered And'l truthfully Purth and the flit's want to start a waterfight and I was not sure if you wanted to join. The bluerider laughed softly It's ok love. I need to have some fun. The blue said nothing, but him removing his wing was all the reply that was neccesry.
Bamre seemed completely obviouls to what his dragon was cooking up. He assumed that all the flit's were gathering around Purth because they were attracted to him, as they had always been sinice the day the white was born. Diamond flew towards Purth and landed on the white dragons head, though she was immdently followed by Topaz who had to land somwhere else becuase there was no room. Though the bronze wanted to be close buy simply to keep the other male's form bothering his weyrmate. Though the most supirsing thing of all was the blood flit that sat on the white riders shoulder. Instead of hissing and snapping at everyone and everything like he was more subdued and seemed happy just to sit on his pet's shoulder and wacth everything go by. The reason though was the company that was present all of whom, Jasper had finally figured out was not a threat.
Once all the flit's where gathered was when the white dragon gave his signal. Alright little one's, let's start the show. He also said this to Renith so the rainbow could began also. The began splashing And'l and Uu'ian while the flit's seemed to focus on Bamre and Tombath. Purth was doing as the blue had requested and was making sure that Tombath was just was suprised as the human's were. Hexeth made no move to join the splashing yet, he was planning on waiting until And'l joined in before he was going to.

Reinth did not rise often. Right now, it was as far from the rainbow's mind as it could possibly be. And, perhaps fortunately, Tirlynna did not know what the others were thinking about. But then an almighty amount of splashing started up.
"Hey, hey! Dragon versus human waterfights are totally, completely, utterly unfair!" Terlara exclaimed, although she sounded more amused than angry.
Of course, with all the firelizards joining in, the rainbowrider was drenched in short order...fortunately, she had just finished bathing her dragon and was dressed for it.
"I'm going to get every set of wings here back for this!" she teased. "Every one...somehow." Of course, it was hard to prank a dragon. Or even a firelizard. You couldn't play really good pranks on somebody who could teleport. And pranking one's own dragon was close on impossible...it seemed to her that it was a lot easier for Reinth to hide her thoughts from Tirlynna than vice versa.
Or maybe Tirlynna just leaked a little bit, didn't quite have her thoughts shielded from the rainbow. If that was the case, then she was not sure she wanted to ever keep her Reinth out anyway...which was probably why.
Without her, she would be nothing and nobody.

Uu’ian laughed at his dragon and slapped the bronze on the flank. ‘You are a ridiculous creature Tombath.’ He scolded the dragon for his silly joke and demands to be washed at the same time. There was one promise the bronze wouldn’t ever have to make good on! In his mirth over Tombath’s antics Uu’ian failed to notice Hexeth’s wing spreading and then closing again, not that he would have read much significance into the action if he had, Hexeth was always trying to hide And’l from various things.
Quite suddenly Uu’ian was flung against Tombath’s side by a massive wave that was nothing to do with being in the ocean. ‘I totally agree!’ He called to Tirlynna over the sound of a great deal of splashing. It seemed every firelizard had joined in with the games, even Steadfast was splashing rather than scolding, and there was little doubt that Purth was the cause of Uu’ian’s drenching.
Impudent little dragons! Tombath half unfurled his wings and held his neck arched as if to display his size and power, however his playful tone and the slight rumble of dragon laughter were totally at odds with the body language. Indeed the bronze couldn’t hold his prideful pose for more than a few moments before he flung water back at the offending parties, thoroughly drenching everyone and everything around him in the process. There! I’ll show you how a bronze fights! he rumbled at everyone, and then proceeded to flick a wing load of water at Hexeth. Play Hexeth or I’ll have to drown you. he challenged the blue in sing song tone.
‘He will,. He will. He’s half drowned me already!’ Uu’ian laughed. ‘I’ll paint him a stupid colour while he’s sleeping, just you wait.’
