Physical Appearance: Koda has to toned hair. With a dirty like redish- blonde on the top with darker brown/black on the bottom. Her hair goes down passed her back.She has an even tone lightly copper colored skin that is practicely flawless. Her eyes are almond shaped and are brownish black colored.She has high cheek bones that are slightly pronounced but noticeable with full pale colored lips. Her teeth are alittle crooked on the sides but not to noticeable when she smiles. She has nicely shaped chested for her age and a nice hourglass figure. Koda is about five feet five inches tall and weighs around a hundred and fifteen pounds.
Personality: Koda is willing to take on any task given to her, regardless of whether or not she is capable of doing it. If she’s really determined, she’ll focus only on one thing, and not rest or eat until she’s finished. Lorelda loves to find something to occupy her time when not doing candidate work. She doesn’t upset easily; very little seems to phase her. Those few exceptions are when her friends are hurt. Another would be when she has a very bad headache and cant seem to get away from what is helping to cause the headache. She normally isn't very talkative; she rarely says more then she thinks she needs to and doesn't often make her opinions known. Occasionally, however, she will have bursts of desire to be social, and will talk the ear off whomever she happens to come across. Though there seems to be a particular reason for these outbursts. When she does have these outbursts it can range from thread, firelizards, farms, or any such topic that might be going on around her. Though most of the time she can be painfully truthful. When first met she can seem kind of cold in her non-talkative state. She is very sweet to those she gets to know better.
Her taste in men is one found quite often in other women. Examples such as strong hard working men and ones that will treat her right and respect her and give her space when she wants it. Her taste in people streams from all points of the spectrum. Such as strong independent people to those that arent so strong and are quite shy. When around the shy people she tends to get mother around them and what most would call overly(sp) protective. Is is one of th emost loyalist people you'll find on Pern and is willing to fight and die protecting those that she consides to be part of her pack.(even if they don't know it)
History:Koda is the daughter of a Runner beast journeyman, Fulcer, and a Cook, Leacia, and younger sister to Brandon, and had lived in a Hold all her life. She had twin sibling that had been born a still born. Though her mother wished for another child, the healer of the hold said that it would kill her to try for another child. She had an average childhood, uneventful until she was searched out. As a child, she could often be found in the kitchen with her mother. She cut her hand once, when she was seven turns old, but this did not deter her. She had planned on becoming a cook, until a search dragon came to the hold. To her surprise, she was searched as possible candidate and brought to Allride Weyr. Her parents were even more surprised but happy that their two children had been choosen as a canidates. Though wishing that she had some friends that would have been happy for her aswell she left with a mind wide open to possiblities to having friends and possibly a dragon at the weyr.
Koda was excited since she had just barely made it to the hatching. Though she was proud that her brother and her were there but sorely disappointed that they did not impress their first hatching. At one of the feastivals in the surrounding hold she had found a dancer that could teach her how to dance. After a turn of the training with dancing along with being a candidate she had received a letter that her mother had died from a sickness that had stuck the hold and that her father was barely recovering. She had to then be restrained by her brother from going there and trying to take care of her what was left of their family for the fact that the virus was liable to kill her. Fustrated with being kept at the weyr she put her nose into books and paced around the kitchens looking for something to do to keep her mind off things. A seventurn later she had gotting a note from her father saying that he was fine and that she had nothing to worry about and had told her good luck along with her brother at the next hatching. While she waits she tries to prove her worth to the dragonriders and their dragons and everyone else that is around her.
