The truth was, Allride was not the most organized Weyr there had ever been. That owed a fair bit to the rather easy-going temperament and manner of Weyrleader C'lyn.
That said, he was organizing some stuff now. With all the young riders, there were now more than enough to sort the fighting riders into wings. To do so, he needed to observe them in action.
That was why he had called for Weyr wide drills, all graduated riders.
The training grounds so far showed the presence of C'lyn and his great bronze, Kilith.
Tirlynna had arrived early, perhaps given a head's up, and was securing the straps onto her tiny rainbow...so small in comparison.
The rainbows were an issue. Technically, as fertile females, they should fly in the queen's wing, but that would waste their incredible agility...and then, what about the male rainbows?
As C'lyn thought that, a young brownrider approached, his dragon gliding down to the grounds from his weyr rather than crossing the bowl on foot.
J'tor. A solid young rider, if nothing special about him. He'd maybe make wingsecond...wingleader if they were short...but C'lyn would honestly rather put Tirlynna in. Except...her dragon could by no means fly full Fall.
He waited for the others to show up, frowning thoughtfully.
OOC: No, not a *mandatory* thread, just a chance to show off some fancy flying! If you don't post, you'll be assumed to be around, but not do anything special.

D'ket and Oith flew in. D'ket might not be old enough to actually be allowed to fly yet but that didn't mean he wasn't allowed to practice with everyone else, and anyway, he was almost old enough. Oith remarked, This is going to be fun.
Z'ren, Levra, and Getrara are still coming... I just haven't finished writing my post out yet...
