Aphrodie looked quite stunning. One of the nice things about riding copper...there were few colors that would not go with her dragon. She knew some of the blue and green and sapphire riders worried about that.
In any case, Geisteth lay on the beach, with some of the other dragons, sunning as her rider enjoyed the party...sort of.
Truthfully, Aphrodie was not so fond of huge groups of people. Dressed in a gorgeous deep green gown, the young copperrider was more watching the crowd than participating within it.
Most certainly, she was not going to ask anyone to dance, or otherwise accompany her. No...it was likely that any who sought her company would have to do the approaching themselves.

F'mar walked through the Gather, wondering where he should go next. He had just visited the wine stall and the drink sat warm in his belly, making him a little more apt to socialize than usual. He could hear music coming from the dance area, and he smiled. Maybe he should go find a lady and dance a little bit.
First he had to find a suitable woman. Preferably someone he knew already, since that would make things a little less awkward. Searching the crowd, he noticed Aphrodie, one of the riders from Malacryth's second clutch. He walked over to her, trying on a charming smile. "Good day, Aphrodie. Would you be interested in a dance?" he asked, bowing slightly.

Aphrodie blinked...but then, why not? She had never thought of F'mar romantically...although Geisteth might well rise soon and when she did, Antagyth would quite likely chase.
Well, flights were not to be thought of right now. Flights were...well. "Of course," she said to the somewhat older rider, smiling a little. "How is Antagyth?"
He was a bronzerider, but he had never had a chance in Malaracyth's flights...the gold seemed pretty devoted to Kilith. Aphrodie wondered if Geisteth would be like that. Greens, most of them, tended to let...oh shards. WAS Geisteth proddy? Was she old enough to be?
