If there was something unusual about the bronzerider who stalked back and forth across the weyr, it was his expression, or at least Uu’ian’s expression was unusual for him. A frown was not an uncommon sight in Allride these days, and what smiles there were tended to be strained of late. Not surprising considering there was mystery killer in their midst.
The dragon side of the bronzepair was also concerned, in his own right and as a reflection of his rider’s worry. Tombath, however was not given to pacing, and adorned as he was with firelizards, Uu’ian’s brown Steadfast and his strange white Mystery, this may have been a good thing, for surely if the bronze turned about as sharply as his rider the pair of flitters would have been flung off somewhere. Must you do that? The bronze inquired sharply as Uu’ian made another turn, the pacing was beginning to grate on his nerves now. It has brought you no closer to a solution
Short of walking out the door and catching someone stalking around the corridors with a knife, I don’t think I have a solution. Uu’ian replied sourly. Do you?
The bronze shifted uncomfortably. Not really… He admitted.

A large shadow harold the arrival of a dragon on the ledge of the weyr and very soon the familier shape of the shappire dragon though as she entered the weyr she unusally was not followed by her rider. Has Hexeth came inside she looked around to find both her weyrmate and that of her bonded in unsually unhappy moods, as she wacthed for a few moment the brozerider walking back and forth, back and forth, before finally deciding to comment, You know that if you keep doing that Uu'ian you are going to wear a hole in the floor right where you are walking.
Leaf who had flown in with the dragon joined the other firelizards whom where resting on Tombath. Though she quickly decided that maybe a purch on Uu'ian would be much more effective so that maybe the bronzerider would quit pacing around so much. So she found his shoulder and landed on, with a soft chrip. Of course though And'l own arrival was not far after.
The shappire's rider apprance was as usally a very quite one as he just leaned against the side of the door for a moment and said in the direction of his weyrmate, "So I am guessing that you are worried about the same thing I am?" There was someone stalking the weyr, and killing off riders... yet And'l in a way felt like he had to do somthing, and fast, before somthing awful happened.

Tombath’s head snaked around to nuzzle affectionately at his mate’s shoulder, sure the sapphire would not reject the attention. Steadfast greeted both Hexeth and Leaf with a restrained chirp, as was the brown’s nature of proper behaviour, while Mystery trilled cheerfully (and loudly), abandoning Tombath’s head for the open air, where he whirled happily, and somehow ended up splatting against Tombath’s shoulder.
Indeed. I was just informing him of how annoying all that pacing is. Tombath agreed with his weyrmate, although he looked with bemusement at the long pale shape of Mystery on the ground by his foot.
Uu’ian glanced sourly at Hexeth, apparently every dragon was a critic these days he thought grumpily. Rather than answer Hexeth with some totally unhelpful comment the bronzerider reached up to stroke Leaf, totally missing Mystery’s mishap. Where leaf and Hexeth were there was someone who was not far behind them.
Sure enough And’l’s voice came from behind him, and the bronzerider turned on his heel to face his mate, biting back a sarcastic reply as he did so, being under stress didn’t really agree with his normally cheerful personality. ‘I am.’ He agreed instead.

And'l let out a sigh and just shook his head for a moment, as he felt a sense of nervousness that he had not felt in so long. It came from the fact that he was so worried that he would not be able to do something about the killer before something really bad happened. So the rider did something that he had not done since weyrlinghood, and that was to walk over towards Mystery and picked up the white firelizard form where he was sprawled across the floor near Tombath and held him close to his chest. It was much in the same fashion he had once always carried Leaf around, but this time it was Mystery since Leaf was receiving attention from his weyrmate.
He knew that Mystery would not mind being cuddled with as friendly as the young flit was. This quickly brought him to a more calmed state, so that he could indeed think more clearly, and he finally turned to Uu'ian and said, "Though for the life of me I can't figure out who could be doing this. If I can't figure it out soon, then something serious might happen." It was obvious that the Sapphire rider spent a lot of time worrying about it, and trying to solve what was going on.
Hexeth lovingly returned the nuzzle by her weyrmate with a soft croon. She did indeed enjoy the attention like she always enjoyed the attention that she received for Tombath. It is indeed strange to see yours as serious as mine for once. Quite odd indeed, though everyone seems to act different with that murderer running around now. Yet I worry about Mine if whoever is should try to hurt him. Hexeth was reflecting And’l’s worried emotions.
