adoptable candidates... This is for anyone who wants to make a candidate just to play them, knowing that they might be adopted... Once they become weyrlings they will go with their clutch group. Also, if you create one, other people can play that person. As long as you get permission from me or shadowreine you can play one. If you want the character, just make a sheet for them them and they will be approved like any other character.

(If you are color hunting, since we don't want color hunters *glares*) Most colors are already up for adoption, and the adoptable candidates would not be able to impress queens or rainbows... to impress a queen the person who was playing the character would have to adopt the character before hatching and then play them well for a queen...

The guide to creating: Please give a small history (maybe family, where they were born, and how they ended up at Allride). Also, please include name, gender, sexuality, brief description of looks (hair and eyes) and personality (one or two sentences)

Tanale- female, age 14. Brown hair and brown eyes, slender build. Tanale was raised in a wealthy family and she is very naive. She is complacent and respectful to her superiors. She looks up to Maylina and does anything the Ebony rider asks. She was found by a Search rider flying a routine sweep over the areas around Allride.

(adopted)Kamara-female, age 16, Blond hair, blue eyes, wiry build; loves color blue and likes to wear dresses with color blue. Is very proud of being a girl and wears dresses to show that women can be feminine and yet be fighters. She picks arguments very easily, though instead of hitting she often just storms off, but if she is hit, you better watch out. Hates obeying orders. Was brought to renegade hold by green-riding farmer mother (Kaluna) who was looking for more land to farm. Blue riding father (J'mar) also came but both died on journey to illness and left Kamara and little brother, Jarlun (10). Jarlun went to creche and Kamara became candidate. Kamara has one blue flit, Sweet Tooth.

Personality: Solid and seemingly unflappable Tobais is kind and a natural protector, but he has hidden insecurities and always feels he must present a strong front for the other boys.
Appearance: Common as dirt Tobias is brown haired, brown eyed, and brown skinned. He is quite tall and built solidly.
History: born and raised in the north by parents who both worked for a holder in menial positions. Tobias and his family came to Allride when his parents heard of it as they had a hope of carving out a cothold of their own. Tobias missed Malaracyth’s first clutch hatching and failed to Impress at the second hatching.

Personality: Navarro is a little simple and comes across as younger than he really is, he tends to be more open about his thoughts and feelings than other boys e.g. hugging people randomly and telling all his friends how much he likes them. Navarro is very concerned about other peoples feelings, he wants to make everyone around him happy but he’s easy to take advantage of.
Appearance: Navarro is quite short (his younger brother is taller than him) and of a light build. His black hair is always falling into his dark brown eyes and he is most often smiling.
History: Navarro is the sixth child of a minor holder in the South, he was never bright and was often teased by his older brothers because of this. He tended to stick with his younger brother Newat and other younger boys. Navarro proved useless at hold management which was just as well since there was barely enough land to divide between the older boys. When news of a Weyr and Hold in the western continent reached the hold Navarro’s father figured it didn’t matter about whether or not thread would return, it mattered that his younger sons could prove themselves over there, and hopefully not want to take over the hold. Navarro and his brother are newly arrived at Allride

Personality: Wild and eclectic, Newat might do anything for the fun of it, he’s very bright but doesn’t apply himself seriously to anything, he’d rather have fun. Newat feels very responsible for his older brother Navarro, who suffers from learning difficulties.
Appearance: of average height and taller than his older brother, with a medium build. Newat has shoulder length black hair that is most often tied back in a tail and sharp eyes of a mid brown tone. When Newat smiles it’s all teeth.
History: Newat is the seventh and youngest child of a minor holder in the South, his parents hoped he would be a girl since they already had six boys, and though his parents accepted that their youngest child was also male without a fuss his brother never let him forget he ‘should have’ been a girl. Appearance: A solid strong woman with a sharp pointed face and a mane of red hair. Hessa is constantly in motion, pacing and foot tapping are her most annoying habits.
History: Born to a girl too young to have a child and adopted by a pair of male greenriders who wanted a child to raise. On their cotholding Hessa grew up a strong, heathy and happy child. Both her adopted fathers had hopes of Hessa Impressing a dragon so when she was thirteen they sent her to the weyr community where they used to live to get used to things there. Hessa didn’t really fit in, no one like her sharp wit much and her quick temper earned her some enemies. Hessa didn’t Impress at any of the clutches she stood for and went back to her fathers feeling both disappointed and inadequate. When different sorts of dragons began appearing in the new Weyr in the western continent hope rose in Hessa again and she travelled west.

E'tai- Tall and slender, curly black hair, blue eyes. He is an only child and was raised in a cothold. He is mood, irritable, and paranoid.
Bronze Wortelth. (Wortel means root in Dutch.) Proud, arrogant, sneaky.

Z'ev- Handsome, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Capricious, lusty, and impulsive. Parents are dragonriders, but they did not join Allride.
Brown Jordath. (Jord means earth in Norwegian.) Opposite of his rider, hesitant, thinks before acting, tries to keep his rider from doing impulsive things.

Personality: Cheerful, loud, and quite possibly mad. Aarylyn has never heard of the word restraint, or if she did, the meaning didn’t click, she’ll do anything asked of her with a smile an annoying hum.
Appearance: Short, curly brown hair, hazel eyes, scabby knees, manic grin showing gap teeth.
History: a weyrbrat belonging to a pair of riders who transferred to Allride, Aaryln has not had a remarkable life thus far. Just turned twelve and left crèche in time for Haith’s clutch.

Personality: confident and self assured, some say arrogant and they’re probably right. In short Pepanso think himself quite the best thing ever to hit Pern. Fawningly submissive to his superiors, coldly arrogant to those he considers beneath him.
Appearance: Tall and leanly muscled. Clean shaven, looks down nose at most people, rarely smiles.
History: Only child of a pair of master harpers, greatly fussed over as a child since his mother was unlikely to have more children. Pepanso showed a talent for singing but wanted to make more of himself somehow. The opportunity came when an Allride searchrider offered him a chance to stand as a candidate. Instantly Pepanso agreed, knowing there was a bronze out there for him…

Personality: massive mama’s boy, Barleen is the only son and youngest child of his family and his mother has never really let go of him until now so he’s not very independent. Barleen has good manners and consideration for girls drummed into him by his grandmother and older sisters but he still believes that he’s superior by virtue of his sex.
Appearance: Average height and slightly muscular with black hair and shockingly blue eyes. Dresses neatly to please his mother.
History: The youngest child and only son of a woman who thought only sons worthwhile Barleen might have grown up a brat if it wasn’t for his grandmother keeping him in line. His life was unremarkable and Barleen seemed set to follow his father as a cotholder. An offer of candidacy gave Barleen a chance to escape from under his mother’s thumb and his granny’s watchful eyes, naturally he jumped at it.

Appearance:Bradon has black hair that goes down past his eyes but is slightly shorter then shoulder length. He has a muscular build and is slender. Is girl candy pretty much.
Presonality: He is calm and collect and is quite a nice and careing guy if giving the chance to show it. He is often ready to fight when he sees a girl get hurt and is often found standing up for those that are to afraid to do so themselves. He loves his sister and is very protect of her and is kind and often understand though he knows he is in for getting punched by her since he had held her back from seeing their father when he was sick.
History: Brandon is the son of a Runner beast journeyman, Fulcer, and a Cook, Leacia, and older brother to Koda, and had lived in a Hold all his life. He had an average childhood and helped his father take care of runners, uneventful until he was searched out along with his younger sister.
