And'l walked along through the lower cavrens for once he was not being followed along by his dragon, who had finally started to out grow that habit sinice become weyrmate to Tombath. Though that was probably becuase she was expecting ethier Uu'ian or And'l growing fair to be doing all the following around now, and sure egough though. They where all in tow. Leaf sitting on her spot, on her pets shoulders. It was one she would never give up, not even to the new Ebony. While Onyx and Crytsal seemed to be playing a game of chase around there owner. It was quite a instersting game really sinice the little white had his speed and agility, allowing him to esaily out manuver the big ebony, but Onyx had endurance, and her size was a bit of a avatange in intself in that there was quite a bit more of her to dogde and try to get out of the way of. Yet it all seemed to be in good nature as they both played the back and forth game of tag that seemed to be entertaining to the young flits... of course course Leaf just settleed down on her pet's shoulder and started at the two lazily... it had been a long time sinice she had been hacthling.

Maylina stalked down the hallway, her own green flitt on her shoulder. The two males were elsewhere, probably making mischief. It was clear from the woman's face that she was in a grumpy mood, but that was usually the case these days. For one, that upstart Goldrider had taken the position that should belong to her. And for another, the wimp F'mar wasn't even doing anything about the murders. Maylina wanted revenge.
As she continued down the corridor, she saw someone up ahead with a black flitt. "Hey you!" she called imperiously. She recognized the guy whose dragon had done a gender switch. "Is that the Ebony flitt? I want to see it."

The young man continued to walk along for a few moments as he realized that he was not the only person who stalked along in the corridors, yet he wasn't really sure who it was that followed along behind him until he turn around and looked out of the corner of his eye and noticed that it was probably the last person that anyone wanted to see... it was the Ebony Rider. It was really not that Andol disliked the queen rider, it was simply that she always seemed to have this really bad attitude about her... as did her dragon. He was so glad that Lystia had become queen and she had not, or else they would probably be at war at the moment. He knew that Maylina had always been like that, but he didn't dislike her, because he had been around long enough to know that she did have a pleasure side... the only problem was that it never really came out. So usually he had to handle her with the fact that he would probably have to have a unpleasant conversation with her. It was at that moment that he heard her yell at him, and he knew that things where going to go exactly how he thought that they would, but he did have to stop, because in the name of Hexeth's mother... he had always promised that he would be as respectful as he could, to any of her queen daughters... but with Maylina he couldn't help, but make a expectation, because she seemed to need a reality check.
When she called out to him for a moment the young man seemed to keep walking to in his own way let her know that rude yelling got one no where... heck all the other queen riders when speaking in a authoritative voice, where usually respectful to the lower ranks, yet the ebony rider was just so... so... condescending. Even Andol's ebony flit could sense it to, and Onyx looked at Maylina and gave her a mean hiss, which of course Leaf could not help but to also join in. Cyrstal of course just flew over to Maylina and short of buzzed around her head curiously for a moment, before the little white hissed, and then returned to the head of his pet. It was only after this that Andol finally turned around and there was for a moment this plain and bored look on his face, that showed the sense of annoyance that the young man held for the way that the ebony rider was acting, and he said in his usally unashamed voice, "You know you could probably get what you want if you would just ask nicely Maylina. I don't think that Onyx is exactlly going let a rude acting person get close to her."

The boy kept walking, and Maylina was about to yell again when he turned around. The flitts saw her though, and started hissing. Star hissed back at them, her eyes whirling red. Finally the Bluerider turned around. Rather than giving her what she wanted, he suggested that she ask nicely.
"Shards, you're just as unbearable as your brother, aren't you?" she said dryly. She refused to show him how his words annoyed her. "Why should I ask nicely? I can just demand what I want...from you, anyway." She reached into her pocket and took out a meatroll wrapped in a napkin. Star gave a whine of annoyance; that was supposed to be for her!
"The little ebony, on the other hand, I'll make exception for," Maylina said, unwrapping the meatroll and holding it out to the little black flitt. Dragons and flitts deserved respect; people didn't.

And'l's little flits where obviously not happy about being hissed and so they simply returned the angry hissing. For a moment with the way the ebonies eyes turned red, it seemed like she would pounce the green that was across form her, but And'l's hand came up and began to scracth her eyeridges and this calmed the large flit down. When Maylina began to complain about him for a second she would see a smirk cross And'l's face as she complianed about him and his brother and he said softly under his breath, "We are not the only ones.... espeically when you act like pregent dog all the time." The last part she would not be able to hear though. And'l wasn't stupid egough to say that to a queen riders face, no matter how much he believed it. It was just the way that he was, of course in that moment she said somthing that really cuased him to raise his eyebrow and he spoke in a rather blunt manner...
"Really now Maylina, when did you get that ablity, I am sure that your dragon can get whatever she wants form Hexeth." Of course he sounded sarcastic on that last sentance, "Yet when did you gain the ablitiy of a gold to tell anyone what to do. As I said, I will do what you want me to, when you ask nicely... not when you 'demand'. Besides why should you ask nicely, becuase you will get what you want more with suger than with spice." When Maylina tried to bribe the young ebony, the queenrider would find that And'l started training his flit's very early and the young man quickly took out his own piece of meat and feed to Onyx for not immandility leaving his shoulder. He also feed his other flit's saying, "I think you may want to give that piece to Star there, I am sure she would want it more than mine... as you can see they are all full... now all you have to do Maylina is ask nicely and I am sure Onyx would be happy to come over to you." Another smirk appered on And'l's face and it seemed to say, 'Your move Maylina...' The little white though did peek around the cornor of And'l shirt and flew over to buzz around Maylina's head curiously and in a fly like manner, but he still kept his distance.

Star hissed at the Whiterider. She didn't like this situation at all. It was clear this man was being disrespectful to Hers, and she didn't like that at all. Maylina narrowed her eyes and gave the piece of meat to her green, who snapped it up, glaring at the other flitts.
"Forget the little ebony," Maylina snapped. She had wanted to see it, and she had. It wasn't that important to her, really. She stepped up closer to And'l, looking him right in the eye. She was shorter than him, but she showed no signs of being intimidated. "You ought to have more respect. I may not be the Weyrwoman, but I'm still a Queenrider. And if I reported you to the young Weyrwoman for being rebellious, I think she would have to believe me." She poked a sharp fingernail into the man's chest to emphasize her point.

Z’mir had once been minding his own business, peacefully traversing a corridor on his way to get a bite to eat, however the sound of people arguing, albeit in reasonable tones had drawn his attention and he’d decided to mind their business too, whoever they might be. It was a bad habit, and probably one he’d picked up from Zamora and Igadoth, his sister and his dragon were both busybodies in their ways.
The silverrider padded almost silently along the corridor, accompanied by his own firelizard, one aqua Thesa, who perched stiffly on his shoulder, her tail wrapped possessively around his neck, upset by the sound of another firelizard hissing. Turning the corner he came into the section of corridor that contained two riders he knew by reputation only.
Leaning casually against the wall he listened to the conversation, such as it was, for a moment before he decided to interrupt it. ‘Indeed, queenrider?’ he inquired mildly, not bothering to stand up straight, though Thesa puffed up now that Z’mir had drawn attention to them. The comment was quite meaningless but a world of meaning could be interpreted into it, it would be interesting to see what meanings these two might put upon it.
