Somewhere Fantasmath was telling a story to a group of enthralled weyrbrats, Keshia could hear it. She had to admit that it was slightly nonsensical, composed of common themes and the characters all shared names with prominent historical figures, but it did have rarity value, as far as Keshia knew dragons were not much given to attempting to make up stories of their own, and if Fantasmath wasn’t really all that good at it, it hardly mattered, the tale was keeping both dragon and weyrbrats happy.
And while Fantasmath was at that Keshia could do with some food, and that, naturally, took her to the dining hall, where she helped herself to some bits and pieces and found an empty table to sit at. It was one of those odd times of the day, a little too late for lunch and just a bit too early for dinner so there was no one she really knew around to sit with.

J'tor had been held up on his search for lunch, and now made it into the dining hall somewhat later than he had planned.
Still. This was a Weyr...the cooks knew to make sure that there was food available at all times. Grabbing a bowl of stew, the brownrider wandered over to where Keshia was. "Hey there," he greeted the sapphirerider. "Mind if I join you, or would you rather be alone?"
Bonjouth, right now, was a sunning and dozing presence in his mind, hardly paying any attention to anything.

Keshia let her eyes roam around the near empty room as she nibbled on a slice of bread, not focusing on any one thing really, just looking around. Therefore it came as something of a surprise to her when she found J’tor standing right in front of her. The inevitable reaction to that was, of course, a blush. It seemed that no matter how much time she spent in the Weyr Keshia was never going to stop blushing, although at least she was no longer as agonisingly shy as she had been before Impressing Fantasmath.
‘Hello J’tor.’ The bluerider’s voice was quiet with just a note of uncertainty. ‘No, I don’t mind. I was sat alone because I seem to have missed everyone I normally sit with.’ Keshia lifted a hand to gesture around at the few people in the room, people who were clearly not her peers.

J'tor nodded. "Same here." The brownrider moved to sit down. Of course, he was not oblivious to the blush. He therefore selected a topic of conversation somewhat unlikely to make it worse.
"How is your handsome Fantasmath." The blue was definitely one of the more attractive shades of blue flying around the Weyr.
Zig and Zag appeared from Between and promptly started chasing each other around the dining hall. J'tor gave the two flits an arch look...but of course, neither was well known for following human instructions...
