Physical Appearance: Well, Mour is a rather short, thin fellow. He is barely 5’7 in height, and is weedy, skinny and seems to find it hard to put any weight on his bones. He has a mass of reddy brown hair, that no matter what he tries to do to tame it it has a mind of its own and refuses to be tamed. His eyes are a bright green, wise, but there is a hint of mischief in them that warms of a wicked sense of humour.
Personality: Mourich is a very lively, happy chap. He loves to be singing and has a very good, rich tenor voice. He is a charming fellow, and has an eye for a pretty woman, or a handsome man. He enjoys a good tale as well as a good joke. But there is a serious side to him. He is a very good mediator, listening to people and helping them sort their problems out. He never forgets that he is a Harper, and because of that he never totally lets his guard down, he will joke and have a laugh, but he is always first and foremost a Harper.
Mourich is a very clever chap, he loves teaching the young, passing on what he has always enjoyed, and making learning fun. He loves to sing and play the gitar. He is always happy to sing of Thread and the glory of the dragons. He does have a very quiet side, he hates to see injustice and will fight against it. He will protect any who ask for his help and will voice his thoughts if he feels things are not right. He isn’t afraid to stand up for those less fortunate.
History: Not much is known about Mourich’s background. He as found barely alive on a cold night. A baby crying in a blanket. He was taken to the nearest Hold and was fostered there by the Headwoman. He was a sickly baby to begin with, and they weren’t sure if he would survive. He did, but he was a child who was prone to any illnesses going around.
As he grew his voice was the thing that many heard first. He had an amazing voice, rich, sensuous. He was sent straight to the Harper Hall where he was Apprenticed and found his niche in life. He worked hard, he sang, he learnt to play instruments and make them. He was soon singing the leads in a lot of pieces. When his voice broke his teachers waited, hoping he wouldn’t lose it. He was fortunate, he developed a rich, beautiful Tenor voice and continued his studies. He walked the tables at 20, and was sent to All Ride Weyr as Harper. He loves the dragons, hoping he might impress,but asyet he hasn’t been searched.
