Lysita smiled as she looked over the corner of the large weyr where the cot and other neccessary stuff would be set up for the baby. They had yet to really get anything in place, although she had taken to obtaining a plethora of baby clothing. It was in all kinds of colours and shades, reds, blues, pinks, purples, yellows and oranges.
"I can't wait to meet you." She murmured as she caressed the growing bulge of her stomach. A kick was her responce, making her smile even wider as she continued to caress her stomach, sitting on the edge of the double sized bed. What she, or anyone else, didn't know yet was that they'd need two cots. Yet she had an appointment to see the healer the following day.

F'mar was preceded by his two fire lizards. Lamia spiraled gracefully around the room, while Mosaic landed on the bed near Lysita and curled up to take a nap. The bronzerider entered a moment later. An unabashed smile lit up his face when he saw Lysita sitting on the bed, and he walked over and kissed her cheek.
"How's it going?" He asked her. He was more at ease than he had been in a long time. Picking up one of the baby clothes, he chuckled. "Wow, these are so tiny," he remarked, holing up a small pink shirt.

Lysita looked up at the entrance of the firelizards, knowing that F'mar couldn't be far behind. Muud crooned a welcome to the older firelizards, paying special attention to Lamia. Lysita smiled as F'mar approached, lifting a hand to brush his cheek when he kissed hers. She gave a small laugh when he commented on the size of the baby clothes.
"Babies are tiny F'mar." She said, a hint of amusement in her voice as well as glittering in her eyes.
"It's com..." She broke of with a gasp and smiled, taking his hand she placed it against her abdomen and waited. When she felt it again she looked up at him, smiling brightly.
"You feel that? It's the baby kicking." She said, a sense of awe and wonder in her tone as she continued to smile at him. Although, if she was being truthful to herself, she was a little scared at the prospect of having a baby when she, herself, was still so young.

Lysita's sudden exclamation had him alarmed for a second, but then he saw that she was smiling. She grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly. F'mar waited in anticipation, and in a moment he felt something kick his hand. His eyes widened in awe, and his face lit up with a grin. "That's amazing, Lysita," he said reverently.
He couldn't believe that something was alive there, something that was half him. "Do you have any name ideas?" he asked curiously.
