Aphrodie's mention of that black made Bamre shudder and he said to her " Lisitin you avoid that black and her rider. That dragons heart is as black as its skin and the same goes for it's rider. I don't like nethier of them. They are very mean so its just best to avoid them."

Aphrodie nodded. "Like dragon, like rider, I suppose." She reached out and started to pet Purth, unless the little white objected.
"Which means I'll probably get a rather uncertain one," she added, smiling. "Or maybe one who'll help me stop procrastinating."

Purth just moved closer to Aphrodie to make it esier for her to reach him and he siad to her It is ok. I don't mind really. Bamre then repiled to her comment saying " You will probly get a dragon that will be like you and help you at the same time. Purth you see his much like me. Yet he helps me deal with my constant bouts of deppression."

Aphrodie grinned. "How can you remain depressed with such a handsome guy around?" she asked, scritching Purth. "Or I might not get one. We never know what they're going to pick, after all."
She was definitely staying away from the black. "Who -is- good to hang out with?"

Bamre had a sad look come over his face and said " It is best to just not ask me why I get dreppessed. Just talking about it usally makes me cry." He then smiled at her and said " You will probely get a dragon you just have to beileve in yourslef and about who is good to hang out with just about everyone esle is very nice."

She did not press him further. "Of course, I think you're really lucky anyway."

Bamre looked at her and smiled and said " I agree. I could say I am pretty lucky. I have the dragon that I always dreamed of next to me connected to me heart, mind and soul."

Aphrodie nodded. "Only white dragon on Pern. And a handsome fellow, too. I'm betting if I Impress it'll be a green. Maybe a blue."
She didn't sound as if she minded.

Purth went over and curled up around Bamre and Bamres fair clung to him. Bamre thought and said to her " Yes I guess it is good my dragon is one of a kind, but I hope the dragon is just as good for you."

Bamre smiled at her frist sentance and siad " Yeah I guess that is good thing about having a white becuase it is impossiable for people to make assumpations if you know what I mean." He luaghed after he siad this. He then thought about the next thing as he looked at Purth and siad " You think. I would have never have thought about it that way before. Though in truth I don't care what his reason was I am just gald that he did pick me."

Aphrodie nodded. "I bet you are really looking forward to flying with him." The white might be small, but he'd probably make up for it...say by being able to turn on a wingtip.
"That would make being a rider all worth it."
