Aphrodie grinned. "I bet," she told Purth, "You'll fly rings around every bronze on Pern."
If greens were faster and more agile than bronzes and the white and rainbow were smaller than greens...

Purth looked at her and siad to her happily I believe I will too. I though just want to fly with my rider. That is all I care about. Bamre smiled at he little dragon and siad " I would be fun to do that and show off hs agility."

Aphrodie grinned. "Nothing wrong with a bit of showing off." She reached to scritch Purth again. "He must have been -tiny- when he hatched."

Purth moved to were she could could scrath him again and crooned at her and then said You know you are quite good at this. Bamre smiled and said " Yes he was quite a tiny thing. Even smaller than the baby rainbow dragon. Yet that to me just makes him that much cuter."

Aphrodie laughed at Purth. "I'm practicing for when I get my own," she quipped, cheerfully. "And of course he's cute. He might even stay cute when fully grown."
A pause. "But by then he might prefer to be handsome. Right, Purth?"

Purth then said to Aphrodie Well I know that whoever chooses you will be most happy with you. Bamre smiled at Aphrodie and and said to her " Me I would like him to stay cute personally." He then looked at the White who said to Aphrodie I know I will be handsome when I am fully grown Bamre smiled at the white and said " I know you will be my love." Bamre then sighed and said thoughtfully " Though to bad he will never fly. That would have been fun." Bamre then shrugged and said " Oh well. It does not matter to me. I still love him anyway."

Aphrodie frowned. "Fly...oh!" She shrugged. "You'll find a girlfriend. Or boyfriend."
Weyrfolk were open to such things, and she didn't want to assume. "You don't need Purth's help for that."

Bamre looked at her and siad " Yeah I guess. A girlfriend or a boyfriend. I have always found that I would not mind ethier one if you understand what I mean. Though I am just to much of the neverous type to search for that on my own though. Yet though I always get the felling he is going to be the one that helps me find that person in the end becuase of the fact he talks to other people almost like a person would than like a dragon. You know what I mean how dragons usally only talk to there riders. Purth has never been like that. He likes to talk to other people." He then thought for a sec as he looked at his firelizards and said " Though he really seems to enjoy the company of the firelizards. Though form what I know that was a trait of the frist white also." Then Emerald flew over to Aphrodie and landed on the girls shoulders and rubbed her head angist her cheek. Emerald was really enjoying this girls persance.

Aphrodie grinned. "I think your firelizard is trying to seduce me." Then there was a pause. "You know..."
Another pause. "I'm not sure you should have -told- your dragon you aren't sure you can find a partner on your own."
Because now, she mused, Bamre was going to find himself the victim of a -lot- of matchmaking. Purth seemed just the type of person.

Bamre smiled at Emerasld and siad " Yep I think she likes you. Yet out of these three she is most social so I would not be suprised. What would supirse me if Diamond sat on your shoulders. I am the only preson she seems to use for a pruch really." He then scracthed the little golds head as he said this and then siad to her " I don't mind it if he tries to help me. It does not bother me. I would not have told him if I did not want his help with it really." He then looked at Diamond having noticed her glow recently and siad to Aphrodie " You know I think that my dear Diamond will be having her madin flight soon so therefore if you want a firelizard form her clucth I will send Emerald for you when they hacth."

Aphrodie grinned. "I'd really appreciate the chance. I bet she'll produce some nice hatchlings."
Diamond certainly seemed to be a healthy, good-sized queen, and there were plenty of bronzes around the Weyr to catch her.

Bamre looked at her and smiled and siad to her " Ok I will remember to send Emerald for you." He looked at Diamond having always noticed she seemed like a large firelizard queen. She was diffently larger than the one that Iron had flown that one time. He then siad to her " I am sure that she will. She is diffently a large gold firelizard."

Aphrodie grinned. "Emerald will have eggs at some point, unless she's one of those greens that always hides them."
She studied both firelizards for a moment. "They're both absolutely gorgeous. Well, all three."

Bamre smiled and looked at Emerald and siad " No I don't think that she would hide them form me. She may hide them were other people can't find them yet she will end up showing me that I am sure of." When Aphrodie complimented the three firelizards they all chirped there affection to her and Iron landed on her back and rubbed his head angist it. Though Diamond countied to say on her pets shoulders.
