Aphrodie nodded. "And if she isn't, then you can handle a few eggs." They weren't -that- hard to look after, after all.
She, though, was fairly sure she would never need to worry about looking after eggs...she trusted Ocean to handle that matter for her.

Andol thought for a moment then smiled "I would love to take care of her eggs for her. I think that would be fun. Though I would not be suprised if Leaf did not take care of then Diamond would show up and take care of them. Even though I could handle taken care of them myself."

She was sure Ocean would be a good mother...unless, for some odd reason, the aqua didn't clutch.

Andol smiled. " Not that I would not mind Diamond's help. Sinice she has already had a clucth she will know how to take care of the clucth better than Leaf will. Though I am still betting that Leaf will be a good mother and take care of them herself." He was really excited about Leaf finally flying soon. He was sure she was going to this time.

Andol thought about that for a sec. " Well even if she does. I think I know her egough to know which croner she might lay them in. Though I am hoping she does not do that becuase I don't want to find her clucth and see that every egg is cold and lifeless." Andol really did not want that to happen. Though if it did he would try to make sure that Bamre never found out. Becuase he knew his brother did not take such things very well.

Of course, it might be a good thing...if every wild green clutch hatched, there would be no room for anything but firelizards.

Andol just shook his head and siad " Yeah I know that it happens though I don't want it to happen with Leaf. She as too much of a motherly instect for her to leave her eggs sitting around like that. She will diffently wacth over them. I am postive of that."

Not around here. They'd all be well looked after. There were plenty of people who would appreciate even a green or blue. Leaf was a good sized green, too, she might lay more than average.

Andol shook his head in agreement and said " Yeah you are right about that. Though I want to make sure that people who do not already have firelizards get one of the hacthlings so that more people will have them." Andol was much like his brother in his bilef that firelizards were good for people who did not have them becuase they were good company. He knew that from expraince.

Andol smiled and siad " Thanks I appreatice that. Beside I am sure that Ocean and Shimi will fly and then lay some eggs soon. Then maybe you could get one from one of there clucthes." Andol though that would a practical idea. Though it was probelry best to give them all away so that others could have them.

Andol just nodded " I know that you would not do it on purpose though it does happen. Topaz is one of Diamonds children you know. Though that is more of his stubborn pride that he ended up with my brother on accident really." Bamre had already told Andol about it because Andol was helping his brother keep up with what firelizards came form which clucths and form what parents because that was a big project that took two people.
