Uh-huwhat? Zenniel found a bronze hatchling staring at her. He was right in front of her. And he creeled for food. Food? She had food? Oh, she did! Carefully, she lowered her arm and let the bronze chomp down the food she held. He was the exact opposite of Mura. Zenniel knew what to name him. Scooping the little bronze up she smiled, a rare uccurrance seeing as it was a real smile, and said, "Little Arum, opposite of Mura."

Finally, the blue sighed, picked himself up and made it as far as Eldan before he dropped to the ground again. No, he wasn't going any further. Feed me? his eyes, said, quite clearly.
There were four eggs left, and suddenly three of them decided to hatch all in a bunch.
Two greens popped out of their eggs so close together they got tangled up, then hissed, detaching to run in opposite directions.
A brown so dark he was almost black also emerged and began to sneak sneak around the edge.
The very last egg just sat there, seeming to be in no hurry to hatch.

Kelyna heard Malaracyth say Maybe, one of those are yours. Or maybe not. You might just have to wait till the next clutch to see. I don't really care either way, Kelyna responed. You know you do. I can just tell that you would feel cheated if you didn't get a flit., Malaracyth teased her rider gently. I don't care that much. You will always be first though. Nothing can compete with you. Of course not, I am the greatest dragon on Pern. Malaracyth said this with full pride, and her tone made sure to imply that this was not up for debate by anyone, be they another gold rider or not.

Sneak, sneak, ow! The little brown was so worried about being stealthy that he'd just sneaksneaked right into Kelyna's foot. The almost black firelizard looked up at her. Oh, hey, food. Creel?
The last egg was still very, very still.

Bamre looked at Diamond and picked up the little gold after she was done eating and she then fell asleep in his arms. He then noticed that he still had some meat left. He then looked up and saw that there were more firelizards and he wondered if he would get anthoer one. He looked at them all and even at the one that had not hacthed and wondered what it was.

F'mar watched as more fire-lizards hatched and scrambled to find humans to feed them. None of them headed his way, but he was still ready with his meat. He chuckled at the two greens who ran into each other and then hurried away from each other. The sneaky brown was really cute, too, and he grinned as she walked right into Kelyna.
He looked at the last egg, frowning when he saw that it was not moving. His heart fell. It was probably a dud. Remember what you said at the candidate lesson,[/color] Anatagyth told him, half-teasing, half-serious. I know, Antagyth, but it's still sad. F'mar answered, shaking his head.

The two greens were still moving away from one another. The lighter colored of the two was slender, lithe and quick in her movements. She headed right towards Bamre. Was the gold willing to share?
The dark one, who was almost as dark as that brown, stopped to pose, spreading her wings and glancing around, almost as if to show off to all the males already. Then she strutted over to F'mar. A bronzerider. Worthy of her, for sure.
Did the last egg...shiver? Or was it the light?

Kelyna smiled at the little dark brown creeling for food at her feet. It sure was cute she thought as she carefully picked up the little guy and fed him. She asked Malaracyth, What should the little guy's name be? Well if that thing doesn't stop creeling for food, than I might just have to bop it on the head. That's it! Creel. Kelyna excitedly exclaimed to Malaracyth. "My little Creel," She said to the flit.
Darket, on the other hand was starring at the last egg. He was happy with his pounce, but he wanted to see if the last egg would hatch or not. It was always interesting to watch.

Bamre looked down at the little green flit and laughed a little. He then bent down and began to feed her. He smiled at her thinking The name I chose for you is obvious my dear. I will name along the same line as your sister. My little Emerald. He then said "Yes I will call you Emerald." The little green then after eating fell asleep and Bamre picked her up and stood there staring the last egg with his two precious bundles in his arms.

F'mar grinned as the show-offy little green wandered his way. He picked her up, stroking her dark green hide before feeding her some scraps of meat. She ate voraciously while he considered a name. "I'll call you Lamia," he decided, and she chirped in agreement before beginning to preen. F'mar looked back to the last egg and was happy to see it rocking. Maybe the little one inside had a chance after all. He decided to stick around see what happened with it.

Still, still, still...
..all of the others had hatched. And Impressed.
And suddenly, the last egg burst open to reveal a tiny, tiny little blue. As if to make up for hatching not just last, but late, he streaked across the floor as fast as he could, trying to fly already but not quite managing it, and ran -right- into Darket.
Ow.

Darket was amazed when the flit flew into him. He hadn't been expecting a second flit, and he definitely hadn't expected it to fly into him like an arrow. He started feeding the blue extra of the food he had left, giving the little flit as much food as it wanted. The two flits, pounce and this new blue, were definitely demanding as much of his attention as possible, because both wanted food. While feeding the flits, an name suddenly popped into his head for the second flit, it's name would be arrow, since it had flown into him like an arrow.
