Bamre smiled and began to pet Diamonds head and siad " Yep I know what you mean Diamond is the same way. She will scare away any firelizard that is not part of my fair that trys to perch on me." He held the gold out in front of him and looked at her and grined at her " She though will always be my little girl and she knows it too." He luaghed at this statment.

Ocean chirred and Aphrodie grinned. "Yeah, I guess there's no doubt about it, although I guess the golds are still in ultimate charge."

Who else would be, after all? So far, nothing that outranked a gold had shown up. Even Maylina's huge black dragon still deferred to them.

Bamre luaghed abit a this and siad " Yes that seems to be true." Then Diamond chriped at him and he siad to her " You enjoy that alot don't you my dear." The little who was still in his arms rubbed her head aginst his chest and Bamre just cuddled the gold closer.

Aphrodie grinned. "Is it a case of enjoy? I mean..it's an automatic thing." She very much expected a lower ranking dragon herself. But then, she had one queen.

Two would just be too much.

Bamre luaghed and said as he cuddled the gold " It is more of a combonation of both really. I think that she both enjoys it and it is a automaic thing. It has always been her personaitlly. Not all golds are like that. Take Tirlynna's gold Dawn for example. She is the polar oppisate of one would expect a gold to be. Yet I am sure Diamond won't stand for her daughter to act like that for very long anyway." He luaghed as he said the last part becuase he knew it was true.

Aphrodie grinned. "Yeah, I noticed that. Ocean's different...of course, she's a queen, but not a gold. And she doesn't have any other aquas around to tell her what to do."

There was a pause. "Shimi feeds her ego, though." Aphrodie was as fond of her queen as of her aqua, but she knew what the 'rules' were. Greens were still at the bottom, even with all the new mutations.

Bamre smiled and siad " What makes you think she will let them tell her what to do. Becuase at this point she is the only one so therefore she will always be the oldest." He smiled at this and countied " Just like Diamond was the frist and the oldest. Even though Diamond has the advantage of aslo being a very large gold I don't think that Ocean will have any problem bossing every other Aqua around. Do to the Aqua flit's usally calm nature." Bamre had had alot of time to obersve the new flit colors becuase flit's seemed to be drawn to Purth like a magent. So he was slowly figuring out there baisc personaitlly. As for the finer points. He knew that only those flits pet's would know.

Aphrodie nodded. "She's definitely calm. Not that Shimi's hyper or anything."

They were both pretty well behaved, she was lucky. "Which of yours gives you the most trouble?"

If she got another one, she decided she wanted a ranking male to keep Ocean happy. Of course, there were plenty of bronzes and browns around, and a pink or burgundy could probably fly her. Maybe not a blue...

Bamre smiled at the question and held out his hand and then Iron dissapered and reappered and dropped a fruit into Bamre's hand. Bamre then took a bite of it and siad after holding out the other hand and Ruby jumping into it and wrapping his tail around his arm. The whole act made Bamre look like a cricus master in a three ring cricus. Bamre then held out Ruby and siad " This little guy. He has a very bad temper and has you can see by the scracths here and there Diamond has had to teach him a few lessons. Though by now Ruby has learned his lesson and knows to obay. Yet he still has that temper."

Aphrodie nodded. "So far it's Shimi. Ocean always does what I tell her, Shimi's the one who argues the point. Thankfully, I can set Ocean on her."

If it was the other way around...that would suck. "So, I hear Malaracyth's going to fly again pretty soon..."

Bamre smiled and siad " Yep I heard that to. So I guess you are happy about that." He smiled and he then held out his hand again and Iron dissapered and reappered and Bamre then held the furit out to Aphrodie and siad " Would you like a pecie of furit. I can teach Ocean how to do that if you want." Bamre thought it funny he had a firelizard food dilveary sevirce.

Aphrodie hrmed. "I don't know. I'm still not entirely sure I want to be a rider."

She took the fruit, though, and munched on it appreciatively. "I do want to teach her to carry messages. I don't know that Shimi has the attention span."

Attention span was not one of the aqua's problems, of course.

Bamre looked at her and then began to pet Purths head and said " Trust me Aphrodie it is a good thing." He looked at the white dragon and siad " Becoming a rider has changed me and made me a much happier person and Purth has given me so much and filled in somthing that I never knew was missing within myself." He remember the way he was before he impressed Purth. He then looked at Ocean and siad " Yet I believe Ocean would be able to. You are right about Shimi. It matters on the presonatilly of the firelizard. I would not be able to teach Sapphire the trick Iron does becuase he would just eat the food. I will teach her whenever you want me to."

Aphrodie grinned. "Shimi would do that. Ocean's more biddable, though."

In which she knew she was lucky. The aqua was just gorgeous. "Well, except when she gets it into her head to swim. She's quite the water baby."

Not that that was a bad thing.

Bamre looked at Ocean and examined her webbed feet and he then siad " Yes I would agree. I mean there was water in her egg. Plus she is made prefectly to swim." He then looked at Ocean and held out his hand and was hoping that she would come land on it so that he could take a closer look at her. He also wanted to try somthing.
