There had only ever been two. Then again, dragons seemed to be changing. Evolving. Maybe she'd Impress a black dragon. That would be interesting...unless they were all like Renth.

They might be, and that would kinda suck.

Bamre looked at Purth and then said " Yeah there probely won't be. Yet who knows I mean stanger things have happened." Bamre almost wished there would be anthoer one. Expect one that would call itself a female instead of a male like Purth. That would give Purth someone his own color to talk to. Though Bamre knew that it would never happen and he did not really think about it that much.

Aphrodie shrugged. "I wonder if there will be any more blacks. If so, I hope they aren't all like Renth."

Renth was such a gorgeous looking dragon. She was just so...difficult, and so was her rider.

And she was almost grown. Maybe she would lay another black? Another silver? A rainbow or two?

Bamre shook his head and said thoughfully " No I don't think they will all be like Renth. Becuase you have to remember while certian colors seem to typically have certain persionallty traits usally you still find a big differnts in actual personiallty. Plus it depends on the rider too. Maylina is mean so that just makes Renth stay mean and sometimes be meaner."

APhrodie considered. "Or Renth hatched mean and chose the meanest person there. Who knows. It doesn't matter...at least it doesn't seem like the dragons would accept a black rider as weyrwoman."

Because if Maylina got in charge of the Weyr...Aphrodie was leaving. The woman would just drive everyone nuts, and it was hard to get rid of a Weyrwoman.

Bamre shook his head in agreement and siad " Yeah that is why I am gald that won't happen. Though I would not leave unless she bothered me." Bamre like it here and he was not about to let that girl drive him to run away form his new home. " Though it would not be like Renth could tell Purth what to do. I mean not even Haith and Malarcyth can tell Purth what to do if he don't want to do it. I found that out by accident. "

She would have no such luck with her dragon. Unless, of course, she Impressed gold...which seemed incredibly unlikely.

Purth siad to Ahprodie Of course I am. I know more about what is better for me and Mine. So I will do what I think is best. Bamre liked this side of Purth. It was the one that had always supported him. It was the stronger and more frim side of the kind and gentle white that was never borth out unless nesscry. Purth then siad to Bamre Mine I am icthing. I think I need a bath. Bamre patted the dragon on the side and siad Ok my dear. Bamre then stood up and siad " Well I think I need to go give Purth a bath right now he says he is started to icth. I just hope no one else is down there becuase normally the wild firelizards like to help and most are scared away by people they don't know to well."
