Andol nodded " That is quite true they are. Though some times it will depend on what mood they are in. Some time they are more copperative and somtimes they are less. Leaf though she will eat mostly fish and she doesn't like anything esle."

Marakar nodded. "Isn't fish pretty much what wild firelizards eat?"
He'd see them dipping and diving into the water, often coming up with wriggling creatures in their jaws.

Andol nodded and said " Yeah mostly, but my brother would know more about what a wild firelizard would eat becuase he spends alot of time around them anyway." Andol did to though not as much time as Bamre did becuase he did not have Purth as a firelizard magent. Though wild flits would come to him becuase he was really quite and they did not really feel threatened by him as far as he could tell.

Marakar nodded. "Tame ones, from what I've seen, have a strong preference for their owner's lunch."
But the kitchen fed them well. He could spare scraps for a firelizard.

Andol nodded. "Yep that is ture they do. Though you need to train them form the moment they are born to not grab stuff aoff of your plate. Becuase if you wait till they are grown then it becomes nearly impossiable to teach them anything." Andol knew this was true because he had seen it happen one to many time with firelizards that just got into trouble all the time and were not well trained. His brother had helped him train Leaf though she did not need much training.

Andol smiled " Though if you do give them food of your plate make sure you get more than what you you are going to eat and give them the extras becuase they are going to keep trying to get some until they are full. Though yes Leaf does behave. Me and my brother trained her."

Andol luaghed abit and said " Pretty much. Though Leaf does not do that to much becuase I spoil her." It was obivous that the large green was very well taken care of.

Andol smiled and siad " Yeah you got me there. She does do it somtimes though not as much as I have seen some other flits do it." Andol spoiled Leaf egough that most of the time she did not have to resort to doing that to get her way.

Firelizards were quite -capable- of hunting for themselves, but...did they? Or would they be lazy when kept as pets?

Andol siad " Well she does alot of her own hunting. Though I think most of it she steals form the kicthen. Though I like to feed her myself most of the time."

Not all of the cooks were good for handouts, if you were human -or- firelizard. He'd learned that pretty quickly.
