Suddenly, Verde popped out from between onto Levra's shoulder. Levra's face lit up with true happiness, like she had forgotten the cares of the world when she saw that flit pop out onto her shoulder.
This made Malaracyth grumble. No *flit* should be popping from between onto *her* sands.
Levra, perceiving Malaracyth's grumble quickly sterned up. She transfered a picture into the flit's mind. The picture showed Malaracyth eating flits if they came onto the hatching sands. Verde quickly popped back out between, making Malaracyth grumble again, but nothing more. Levra's face kept her stern, if not sad look, not regaining that smile that had crossed her face when the flit came out.
Looking back at Bamre, she quietly said with her false smile, "It's kind of hard to keep to one's self around here." Levra, noticing that a few stray red hairs were escaping there bonds, quickly untied her braided hair and let it fall to her hips. She leaned down to touch an egg quickly so that she wouldn't get yelled at, and then she started re-braiding her hair in its stiff, perfect, immaculate braid, with not a hair out of place.
Darket watched this all, and added his own comment, "At any place that has candidates, you can never *not* be social."

Bamre watched as the flit popped out of between and landed on Levra's shoulders and her face lit up. He recognized the feeling being that his flit Iron was really the only thing in the world that could make him smile. He reached out and touched another egg. He then said "Yeah I guess your right, but I usually try to anyway. Guess that is another thing that will change since coming here."

Levra gave a hollow laugh and answered, "Oh yes, the other candidates won't give you a break. The all want to meet the new people and then there's some that are ssuper cheerful." Levra gave a pointed look at Darket.
Darket quickly responed with a fake innocent smile on his face, "Whhooo? Meee?"

Bamre looked over at Darket and said with a small smile on his face " Yeah I see what you mean." He then knew that he would not get any peace around here. Oh well he thought if he changed then all the better.

"Why does everyone blame me for everything? I never did anything wrong. I'm innocent, I swear!" Darket stated, as if he was unhappy that everybody seemed to think him to be cheerful, but in reality, he didn't really care.

Bamre laughed at this realizing as he did that he had never really laughed around other people at all in a long time. It was really interesting he was already changing here. He was glad he had left home. Being glad about something for once. He said " Don't worry about my friend we all understand."

Darket was happy, he had gotten the other boy to laugh. He smiled cheerfully as he reached down to touch another leathery egg.
Levra smiled her false smile and touched another egg. She then said, "Nobody is ever innocent of everything. Everybody has done something wrong or bad once in their life."

Bamre knew what she meant. He started rubbing his arm remember what was under there. Then there was the fact that most people had done wrong and were not rellay trusting anyway. He repiled " Yeah I would agree there is alot of bad things and people in the world."

"There are many bad things, as well as many wrongs done. Some things are done for the purpose of thieving, and some things are done for the unknown of doing bad," Levra said, a touch of grief seemed to wash over her features before she got herself under control. She must be strong.

Bamre thought about it. He had always hated people who did evil. It made him angry no matter what it was that the person did. Knowing there was so many bad people he just found it easier to ignore people all together. Yet not that many people could be that bad. He said " Well they shouldn't be done at all there is really no excuse for it anyway." A quick flash of anger crossed his face and went away as quickly as it had come.

"There is no excuse for any thing bad, yet there is no stopping it. It rampages and kills like fire and leaves disaster in it's track. There is nothing, nothing I tell you, to be done against this fire except wait it out and hope that you aren't caught and killed by it," Levra said, a spark of resentment, unhappiness, and anger showed across her face while she spoke, making her look dangerous with her fiery hair and violet eyes. She never had said anything, but she had been tainted for life by her parent's death.

Bamre never like that idea he always thought that there was somthing you could do about it. Yet no one ever did what was needed. They uslly just let it happen like a bunch of fools, but it did not matter there was not much one person could do. He said "I dont agree that you can't stop. I just believe that no one tries to stop it and thats the whole problem."

"There are some things you can't stop, some things that can't be righted. Wrongs that no one knows who made. Wrongs that others stop you from fixing. I swear, that as soon as I can,I will leave my brother and fix these things. He is now in the safety of this weyr, but there are deaths out there that I could stop, that I could've stopped if it hadn't been that I wasn't willing to take Darket," Levra said very strongly.
Darket replied to this, "I was always willing to go, you would never would let me come along."

Bamre did not rellay think that was right ethier because one preson should not try to stand up alone against evil if possible. They should seek help then that makes there fight much esair he thought about this as he reached out to touch anthoer egg. He said "You should not try to stop everything bad on your own. You may try, but somtimes it is just to much for one preson."

"Sometimes others don't care to help, and some are to young and you wouldn't want to risk," Levra said, though her resolve was weakening, still as soon as this candidate thing was over she was going to find her parents killers and take them to the high council.
