Barme looked at her and said "Levra you are not unneeded why would think such thing. Just because of all that has happen that is no reason to end your own life. What if you impressed then you would be killing the creature that loves you the most."

"If I impress, I probably won't kill myself. I don't think I am going to impress. I told you, I will have my revenge upon my parents killers after the hatching if I don't impress, and then I won't have anything driving me to stay alive any longer," Levra answered calmly. She would not change that fast.

Bamre just shook his head again he could tell he was getting nowhere. Some people were just stubbron and stuck in there ways so he decied to talk about somthing differnt. He asked her "So if you do impress what color where you hoping for."

"Well, I was kind of hoping for a green, or maybe a gold. I don't really know or care what I impress to if I impress," Levra said with a shrug of her shoulders. Why should she know or care, how could she?

Bamre looked at her and said " Well I hope you impress. I think it will make you much happier wheter you believe it or not. Your not rellay as bad as you think." He then reached out and touched anthoer egg. Then he looked at her and said " Lets just change the subject what would you like to talk about."

Levra raised an eyebrow at Bamre, he certainly was VERY subtle about changing the subject. She then said, "A person does not choose what to talk about, talk flows, so what about your life story since I seem to have told you mine." Levra asked in a condescending tone. She touched yet another egg. This one was a bunch of green colors that clashed.

Bamre didn't rellay like the condesceding tone Levra had used. Oh well he thought she is just in a bad mood. He repiled " Well there is not I lived in a cothold with my parents and my brother. I never had any friends rellay never talked much. Then I impressed my firelizard Iron and after that I came here." He reached out and touched anthoer egg and one of the strange eggs again.

"So pretty much you grew up isolated, like I started off except I started off happier and then I went outside my parents family farm and learned the world ain't really that nice," Levra said, relating the two past together. She might almost rather his life.

Bamre replied to Levra " Yeah I grew up isolated. Expect my first experience with the outside world was not a bad one. I am sorry that you had such a bad experience."

"You look normal, I look strange, makes a big difference in the eyes of others," Levra said in an off hand manner. She felt no need to make a big deal about this. She knew that people thought her strange, she had definitely heard it enough.

Bamre just sighed and he looked at her saying " As I said before you do not look strange. Just becuase other people tell you that you look strange or treat you that way does not mean you have to think of yourself as strange."

"You are telling me that red hair and green eyes aren't strange. Please, tell me another joke, that one doesn't make sense," Levra said with an almost roll of her eyes. She had been told she was strange so often now that she thought that anybody that said that was lying to her.

Bamre thought about how cruel some people could be and that this girl had meet to many of those people. He said " They just aren't. It does not matter what anyone has said to you they just aren't. I mean is the white dragon strange because it is colored white. No it is not. Just because of the color of your hair and eyes does not make you strange no matter what others may tell you. That is just there fault for there own foolish prejudices."

"Ironically, it just makes me strange to the world while some think me not strange. Many thought that the white dragon of ages past was strange, yet why, because of its color! People hold prejudices and strangeness is being different. I am fine with that. I understand that I am strange, I can't change that, just like the white dragon is who it is. I accept that I am strange in looks, but I don't care, all that I care about is that I know the world holds hate for those that are different, and I am strange, different, or whatever you call it and most of Pern does not care about me. This is the only place where people have ever cared," Levra said this in one big long statement while reaching down and touching another egg. Fifteen eggs seemed like so many, but she was almost done.
